As a result of numerous citizen and business complaints the Southbridge Police Department Detective Bureau initiated an investigation into the illegal distribution of narcotics coming from 66 and 70 Central Street in Southbridge. As a result of many hours of surveillance (3) apartments in the buildings were identified as being used by several men to distribute heroin and crack cocaine. The men were also using juveniles as lookouts to notify them of any police presence. As a result of the investigation search warrants were obtained and executed on August 22, 2016. The search warrants were executed with the assistance of The South Worcester County Counter Crime and Drug Task Force, The Massachusetts State Police Detectives – Narcotics Unit, and the CEMLEC SWAT team. As a result of the warrants an amount of cocaine, heroin, crack cocaine and U.S. Currency were seized, (Exact amounts are not available at this time, as some of the substances are still being tested. Additional charges may result).
As a result the following were charged with crimes:
Israel Pizzaro DOB: 08/09/96, 66 Central Street Apt. 1 Left in Southbridge, MA. Charged with being in Possession with intent to distribute a class B substance and conspiracy to violate the drug laws.
Miguel A Miranda-Rojas DOB: 11/01/1980, 66 Central Street Apt 1. In Southbridge, MA. Charged with being in Possession with intent to distribute a class B substance and conspiracy to violate the drug laws. Miranda is also being charged with being in possession of stolen property valued over $250.00.
Jose Torres DOB: 03/17/1982, 13.5 Morris Street in Southbridge, MA was arrested on an outstanding warrant for violating an abuse prevention order.
Raul Colon Santos DOB: 09/27/79 66 Central Apt. 1 in Southbridge, MA charged with being in Possession with intent to distribute a class B substance and conspiracy to violate the drug laws.
(2) Juveniles were arrested with conspiracy to violate the drug laws.
Carlos Mercado DOB: 01/24/91. Mercado was not home at the time of the warrant, a warrant for his arrest is being sought through the court for his arrest. He is being charged with being in Possession with intent to distribute a class A substance and conspiracy to violate the drug laws. The Southbridge Police Department will continue to crack down on narcotics distributors to ensure a better quality of life for its citizens.
Anyway, first things first. These guys deserved this to happen to them because they didn’t invest properly in their business. They used kids as lookouts, and probably didn’t pay them nearly enough. If you’re running a heroin distribution ring out of a shitbum apartment in Southbridge, then you should at least invest a little bit more into your security. Their stashhouse was under police surveillance for months, and somehow the lookouts, whose ONLY job was to keep an eye out for the cops, completely missed that one. This is why you don’t use underpaid child labor if you’re into drug dealing.

Good point. What American family can’t relate to this? Surely we all have a brother or sister who sells a little crack here and there. Turtleboy’s crack dealing family members are just savvy enough not to employ 8 year olds as lookouts.
Wait….what?? Anyone who thinks that Worcester is worse than Southbridge is out of their minds. Worcester has museums, Shrewsbury Street, and the West Side that at least make us look presentable. Southbridge has run down mills, a welfare office, crack dens, and the oldest looking 35 year old man in world history. And if you ever find yourself comparing your home town to Worcester and Webster, you know things aren’t going too well.
Kyle O’Brien learned the hard way that if you DARE to criticize our failed welfare system, you will be called racist. No Denise, we weren’t assuming they’re on welfare because they’re Hispanic. We assume they’re on welfare because they probably report zero income (since selling crack is illegal) and thus are eligible for food stamps and a bunch of other government handouts. Ya know, kind of like that guy and his Charlton boo who were arrested the other day at the Southbridge welfare office with a loaded gun and a whole bunch of heroin.

The bottom line is that as long as the welfare office and abundant Section 8 housing is located in your town, stuff like this is pretty much guaranteed to happen. Crime and drug dealing will always exist and crack dealers have to set up shop somewhere. What I don’t understand is why there isn’t a massive push in Southbridge to push the muff parade down into Connecticut. I mean, it borders CT and no one likes that state anyway. Just tell them they can do whatever they want down there so long as they never, ever come back to Massachusetts. Until then you’re better off getting out of Southbridge and moving to a place that isn’t a magnet for dooshnozzles.
