Remember when morons said that newspapers are “real journalism.” Well today is Sunday, the most important day for newspapers. And this is the cover of the Boston Globe, the alleged most legitimate newspaper in New England:

It’s basically a satirical, onion-esque headline, that satirizes what would supposedly happen if Trump were elected president. Ya know, something like what Saturday Night Live would do. Except it’s not SNL. It’s a major American newspaper. One that wants to be taken seriously.

LOL.

Screen Shot 2015-12-01 at 10.29.56 AM

They did this for one reason and one reason alone – they want people to argue about Trump in the comments section. They know that every time you comment on their Facebook page your entire Facebook roster sees it. This will lead to more likes and more Globe followers. If you feel for this by arguing about this, whether you are pro or anti-Trump, then you fell for it. You did EXACTLY what they wanted you to do. The media is trying to divide us for page views.

It would be one thing if they did this for all the candidates. I mean, it’s pretty easy to roast Bernie, Hillary, and Cruz. But they’re only gonna do it for Trump. They obviously don’t want Trump, which is fine. But as usual all they will accomplish with this is driving more people towards him. People who hate Trump are always gonna hate him. But people who are on the fence are gonna look at this and see this for the pathetic ploy it is. We don’t need to be warned about what will happen under a Trump presidency. We don’t need the Globe to enlighten us with satire. There will be thousands who read this and vote for Trump out of spite.

This is yet another example of how the only thing that matters anymore is page views. At least as a blog we can admit that. Our goal is for you to click on the blog by creating funny, entertaining, and enlightening stories from across the country. The Boston Globe is just a bigger version of the Turtlegram and Gazette. It’s owned by John Henry, who has turned a once revered baseball team into a pink-hat haven because it brings in more revenue.

This was the best part:

“The Republican Party’s standard deserves to be hoisted by an honorable and decent man, like Romney or Ryan, elected on the convention floor,” the editorial board writes.”

LOL. Why don’t they just come out and say it? They want the Republicans to put up a loser who can’t win. Someone Hillary can beat up on. A proven loser, (oops, I mean “honorable man”) like Mitt Romney. The kind of men who four years ago the Globe was ripping and urging people not to vote for.

It’s just so pathetic and sad. And I’m not even talking about, nor do I care about their anti-Trump message. Major newspapers always make endorsements, and obviously the Globe ain’t gonna endorse Trump. But at this point they’re just using Trump for page views. They know he’s a polarizing figure. They know it will elicit comments and controversy. They knew it would be all over the national news this morning.

Mission accomplished.

Keep in mind, this is a newspaper who still hasn’t taken down this article by Gish Jen, shortly after the Boston Marathon bombings. . In the column she specifically blames the people of Boston for forcing the Tsarnaevs to resort to terrorist:

“Did we fail the Tsarnaevs somehow? It’s not clear that we did. And yet for people who knew Dzhokhar especially, who had seen him at school, who had studied and partied and played sports with him, the lurking fear has been that we failed to truly open our hearts, that we accepted him, but only up to a point.”

This was not satirical. It was a real opinion the Globe printed because they agree with it. Supporting anything Trump says is hate speech, but blaming Martin Richard’s family for the death of their son at the hands of a terrorist is OK.

Anyway, we’ve seen before haven’t we? The Turtlegram and Gazette does the same thing with Turtleboy. Why do you think they constantly write about us? Because they know Turtleboy sells. They know if they mention us it will get people worked up. And it works every single time. Turtleboy killed modern day journalism.

What a joke. Imagine if you will, the Boston Globe “satirizing” Bernie with a “90% TAX ON ALL EFFECTIVE TOMORROW!” or even better “HILLARY ADMITS SHE LET THOSE IN BANGHAZI DIE!” Yeah, that’ll happen. Bunch of left wing fucking hypocrites who want to have a say over who gets elected because it fits their political agenda. Their headline should actually read “TRUMP WANTS TO ACTUALLY ENFORCE LAWS WE DON”T DEEM POLITICALLY CORRECT”

And THAT would rake in bucks for specific sponsors/advertisers. People have been saying that ( if there was just an obit/local sport coverage sheet) for years but it was never practical in print. It is now.

The Globe, or Bulshivick News as its commonly referred to, is right in line with the NYT, Turtlegram, and most other liberal news outlets, useless and failing. The Boston Herald is the only respectable newspaper in New England because they aren’t afraid of exposing the wrongdoing by politicians and government officials, while other news just prints puff pieces and nothing of substance. There’s plenty of waste, fraud, abuse, and corruption going on the local and state level that the Herald and Turtleboy will report on that the Turtlegram and Globe are too afraid.

Haven’t bought the Globe in several years and will never again. The only thing good was the Sports section. I wonder why John Henry only spent $70 million for the Globe and T&G when the NYT Co. bought it for $1 billion in 1993. Then they can’t even deliver their papers on time!

What disappoints me in that front page is he waited until April of 17 to start the deportations. He should’ve started on January 21st.
