City Councilor Michael Gaffney takes a lot of shit for being a supporter of Turtleboy Sports. While most politicians read our blog and agree with it, very few have the stones to actually share it on Facebook, because they fear the blowback from the butthurt patrol. Case in point, Gaffney recently shared this article about losing State Rep candidate Moses Dixon, because it brought up the indisputable fact that Moses was arrested for choking his girlfriend until her neck was covered in red marks from the assault. We even provided pictures of the restraining order that the victim, Kristal Hansley, took out on him and signed under penalties of perjury:
Well, apparently one local genius didn’t like this very much, because he supported the woman beater. And he thinks it’s hypocritical for Gaffney to criticize a man who was arrested for choking a woman, because Gaffney supports Turtleboy, and Tutleboy is only one person, and that person is way worse than a woman beater:
Uh-oh!!! This man right here has “friends in VERY high places”:
Sounds serious. VERY serious!!
Love the threat to go to the Turtlegram. Because that’s the kind of story the Turtlegram is interested in. Some chudmuffin getting blocked on a Facebook page. Stop the presses!! Well Matt, at least it looks like you’re gonna get the attention you wanted. Just not the kind of attention you were hoping for.
Anyway, since Gaffney is a reputable Councilman and lawyer he obviously would never wanna do business with a known sexual predator, as Matt Branche alleges “Turtleboy” is. So he apparently wrote back to this engaged citizen and asked him for some sort of reputable link that proves that these allegations are accurate, so that he could terminate his relationship with our blog. And as usual when a butthurt is asked to actually back up the things they’re saying, Matt Branche just kind of started pulling things out of his ass:
Whoa!! A “sports blog” said these allegations are true? Well then. That settles that. Never mind the fact that the blog he’s citing is currently being sued for $500,000 for making a similar story up about a charity for kids. Never mind the fact that this is the author Matt Branche is quoting:
You got mother fuckers who like to talk shit? I'll talk that shit with them pic.twitter.com/dcRlB1CrlJ

I went bonkers, completely crazy, time to dismiss me, I'm too crazy for humanity

This clearly mentally stable individual says he knows who Turtleboy is, and that Turtleboy is a sexual predator. Therefore it’s true. Sounds legit.
But wait, he wasn’t done. He had to defend Moses “the woman beater” Dixon. Why? Because the victim is a liar. Ya know, because “girls will lie and make up stories to suit their needs.”
This is also known as “victim shaming.” It’s the main reason that women who are raped don’t pursue charges against their rapist. Because people like Matt Branche shame them by saying, “girls will lie and make up stories to suit their needs.” I guess this poor victim, who was covered in red marks and took out a restraining order against Moses Dixon, was lying to “suit her needs.”
Luckily since Councilor Gaffney is a decent human being he pointed out that Matt Branche’s victim shaming wasn’t a good look:
“I can think of 10 stories off the top of my head where girls lie and say words out of spite.”
Ya know who says something like that? A man who has been accused of doing inappropriate things to a woman. A man whose immediate instinct is to shame the victim. A man who isn’t really a man to begin with. A man like this:
P.S. Matt Branche – since you’re down with the social justice warriors of the world, we just wanted to give you a heads up that this is a big no-no in the circles you run in:
Yea cultural appropriation is towards the top of offensive things you’re not allowed to do anymore. But then again so is blaming women who are victims of domestic violence, and that didn’t stop you from making an ass of yourself.
We urge you to support the Turtleboy Sponsors by doing business with them. Without them none of this is possible. Click on any of them to check out their sites or Facebook pages.
