Ladies and gentlemen I present to you, the most Indianapolis Colts thing you will ever see:

AFC Finalist. LOL. I know who’s gonna be getting the ESPY participation award this year!! #GoodJob #GoodEffort

What else is there to say? The wussification of America, and the everyone gets a trophy generation has officially grown up. This is the result. Celebrating the mere fact that the Colts were allowed to play the greatest Super Bowl dynasty of all time.

Kind of brings up a fair question though – should teams celebrate being the runners up if they lost to the Patriots? I mean, it’s kind of not fair that the Dolphins, Bills, and Jets have to play in our division. Shouldn’t they start hanging up “AFC East Finalist” banners in Miami, Buffalo, and New York?

There isn’t a franchise in sports that is more deserving of such a meaningless banner. This is the most Bob Kravitz banner I have ever seen. Think about it. They are celebating a 45-7 loss. Most Patriots fans bow their heads in shame every time they’re forced to look at the 16-0 banner from 07. It’s a disgrace that that thing still hangs in Foxboro.

But this? This is a whole new level of lowered expectations. Do you realize what it would look like at Gillette if we put up every AFC Finalist banner we’ve ever had? They’d have to rent space in Walpole.

And do you realize right now that the Patriots are 1 point underdogs for their game at the Colts in October? Stop what you’re doing right now and bet your children’s college funds on the Patriots. Because apparently Vegas is drunk. The Patriots don’t know how to score less than 40 points on this team. We try, but they just keep letting us score. Now Bob Kravitz made it a million times worse and Tom Brady is going to give them the raping of a lifetime. And we’ll be outside selling the petroleum jelly, because there is going to be epic levels of butthurt in Indy.

    BobnMic…

It’s not the only AFC Finalist Banner up there. The Colts have been celebrating losing for years. They must think they are the Jets.

Celebrating Mediocrity. A bold and embarrassing concept. Thank God we don’t do that here in New England. Our Boston duck boats have millage on them baby and it ain’t from tours!!!

I don’t know man I’m sort of leaning toward this whole thing being a dig to my beloved 4x Super Bowl Champions New England Patriots. The Colts got the whole deflategate bullshit started didn’t they? With a little help from the Ravens. But who hangs a banner like this unless you want to make some sort of statement? I think it’s some sort of rebellious gesture at best. Did the Colts forget that the Pats blew them out in the second half last year at the AFC championship game AFTER the ball issue was addressed and corrected/adjusted?

I mean – the Walmart story and videos are a riot. I want to believe that they are not all like that out there in Indiana. But if any of my wacky theories holds true, then I believe we here in New England should send the entire state of Indiana a box of tissues for each resident so they can wipe there eyes and blow their respective noses while they are crying. And if that happens I will be looking at Larry Bird a little differently as well.

Let’s hope it does not get to that.

They will be honoring Indiana Walmart Mom during the banner raising ceremony.

They should sign her. She’s tougher than their entire offensive line.
