Here’s your GoFundMe scam of the day from a Mom out of Dudley named Nicole Ingels, AKA Nikki Hutchinson…..
Alright, so this one doesn’t sound THAT bad on paper. Kid won an academic award and mom is crowd sourcing to fund it. I personally wouldn’t do that because I believe in paying for my own shit, but that’s just me.
However, I don’t hold that against her. I’m just wondering why she’s looking for $2500, when she says it’s only $1485 if you pay by October 17. I mean, you can’t chip in ANYTHING? Your room and board has to be covered too? Bullshit. You want people to pay for your kid’s trip to Washington? Fine. But why should people pay for you? Plus, she’s got a boyfriend who seems to own a different gun for every day of the week, so what good is he if he can’t help you out?
But the bigger problem of course is this, which was posted the next day:
So let me get this straight. You can afford to get tattoos, but you expect other people to pay for your kid’s trip to Washington? Yup, this is everything that is wrong with GoFundMe and society in general. Personal responsibility is completely gone. She has no shame doing this, and she’s not even trying to hide the fact that she’s spending money on tattoos while doing so. She literally posted this to Facebook the day after begging for cash. Then two days later she posted the GFM again like nothing happened:
“I am not the only one out there struggling or just not in the possision to help.”
Newsflash – if you can afford tattoos then you’re not struggling. Your priorities are just all fucked up. You’re trying to milk your kid’s academic achievements to get a free trip to Washington for yourself so you can ride her coattails. If you can’t afford the $1,485 for this trip, then how the hell are you gonna pay for your future rocket scientist to go to college? I can’t even fathom how big that GFM will be.
I also loved how she threw this one in there:
“I’ve seen a lot of bogus GoFundMe’s out there that I can’t believe people have donated to.”
Ummmmmmm, lady, just because we’ve seen worse GoFundMe’s, doesn’t make your’s any less pathetic. If you’re really struggling I’d consider donating to this. But you’re not, because you can afford tattoos. So pay for your own shit. End of story.
