A lot of people are whining about Elizabeth Warren being told to shutup by her colleagues the other day. The Senate was debating whether or not to confirm Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions for Attorney General. Naturally since Sessions supported Trump and he’s an old white guy from Alabama, he’s a racist.
There is some stuff that happened in Alabama in 1986 when he was denied a judgeship because a former colleague testified that he used the n-word, called him “boy” and made jokes about the Klan, saying that he didn’t think they were that bad until he found out they smoked pot. Another colleague testified that he called the NAACP “communist-inspired.” Even though the founder of the NAACP, W.E.B. Dubois (from Great Barrington, MA) was a communist.
But, whatever. None of that matters because as we’ve seen time and time again, no one on the left or the right cares about random instances of racism from years ago. Hillary Clinton and many others embraced a real life Klansman, Senator Robert Byrd, because he apologized and said he was wrong. In other words, your past doesn’t matter as long as you’re playing for the right team now.
On a more local level Elizabeth Warren endorsed this dipshit:
Dylan Fernandes, a 26 year old State Rep from Falmouth, who just like Jeff Sessions, is alleged to have said some racist things in the past. The only difference is that everything Jeff Sessions allegedly said was hearsay. Dylan’s racist commentary is forever documented on the Internet:
Gays, Indians, Women, and black people. He’s pretty much offended everyone people like Liz Warren pretend to care about for political gain. Yet she hasn’t rescinded her endorsement in light of these things. But Jeff Sessions allegedly made a joke about the Klan smoking pot in the early 80’s, so he’s a racist.
Well, Granny Warren got up in front of the Senate this week and did what she does best – embarrass Massachusetts. She started to read a speech from MLK’s widow Coretta Scott King, and using it to say that Jeff Sessions is a racist. I know, I know. The race card? In 2017? Never saw that one coming. But Americans are pretty tired of the race card being played by whiny white people like Elizabeth Warren, so Republicans invoked a random rule called Rule 19, which says Senators can’t “directly or indirectly, by any form of words impute to another Senator or to other Senators any conduct or motive unworthy or unbecoming a Senator.”
In other words, you can’t just get up there and call someone else a racist.
I could watch that over and over again and never get tired of it.
Here’s what she wrote on Facebook afterwards:
“If Jeff Sessions turns a blind eye while Donald Trump violates the Constitution or breaks the law, he’ll hear from us.”
Translation – if Trump does something I don’t like then I’m gonna get up here and whine about it. And then I’m gonna go on Twitter and Facebook Live and complain some more. Ultimately nothing will change, but at least my personal brand will grow and I’ll be able to sell a few more books. This is what she does.
Of course the most insane part about that Facebook post when she said, “If Jeff Sessions makes even the tiniest attempt to bring his racism, sexism, and bigotry into the Justice Department, he’ll hear from us.” His racism? Fuck you lady. How well do you know Jeff Sessions? How the hell do you know if he’s a racist? You guys hang out a lot? We are sick and tired of listening to white people score political points by telling other white people they’re racist. It would be one thing if she said that the allegations were troubling. That would at least be fair. But to just come out and flat out say “he’s a racist and a sexist?” Fuck you.
I saw someone on my Facebook roster sum it up better than anyone:
Look, if this was any other democratic senator then Rule 19 probably wouldn’t have been used. But this woman burns bridges for a living. And yes, it is troubling that a rule exists that says a Senator can’t be criticized by the Senate if he’s up for a major position like Attorney General. But what do you expect that your enemies are gonna do when you’re constantly picking fights with them? Be nice to you? That’s not how life works. They’re gonna bone you. Bone you good and hard.
And no, I don’t hate Liz Warren because she’s a democrat. I hate her because her voice gives me the chills. Because she’s the most annoying person who has ever existed. Because she pretended to be Native American for political gain. Because she’s an over the top obstructionist who can’t get along with anyone. Because she’s an overly theatrical, self-important, look at me politician who thinks she’s smarter than everyone else.
As you know, Turtleboy is 100% pro-free speech, and a lot of people are whining about her not being able to exercise free speech. But these people obviously don’t understand how free speech works. Liz Warren can say whatever the hell she wants to say at one of the never ending supply of meaningless rallies she attends, where she panders to the crowd by telling them she’s “gonna fight” for them, or how Trump is “gonna hear from her.” She can tweet whatever she wants to tweet. She can start a blog. She can say whatever the hell she wants to say, because this is America and she has that right.
But when you’re at work there are rules. This is a VERY simple concept to understand. And Liz Warren works in the Senate, and rule 19 says she can’t do what she did. Case closed.
Here’s the thing with Liz Warren – she’s nothing more than an elected troll. She has lost her ability to be taken seriously. You can’t oppose EVERYTHING and think people are still gonna listen to you. For instance, here’s a list of Trump’s cabinet nominees, how she voted, and what the final tally was:
She opposed Betsy DuVos as Secretary of Education. This was a good thing she did, because Betsy DuVos is a fucking idiot who has no business being in charge of public schools. When the rest of the democrats are voting against a nominee, it’s normal for you to join them.
But when you’re voting against people like John Kelly and Elaine Chao, and you’re on the losing end of 88-11 and 93-6 votes, then you’re the turd in the punch bowl. More importantly, you’re a loser who can’t get things done. You lack the ability to convince your colleagues that your cause is righteous. You’re a terrible salesman who can only sell thing in an echo chamber. Which is why she is reduced to this:
“Look at me – I’m against racism. Hit the like button and tell me how brave I am. Oh, and buy my book, which my published literally announced was going on sale two hours before I made national headlines by intentionally violating the rules.”
Just announced! Elizabeth Warren's new book, THIS FIGHT IS OUR FIGHT, is on-sale on April 18th. https://t.co/Blq8FpP6kW

And that’s exactly what happens. All of her supporters encourage her, and they all buy her book. Right now she’s up there doing this:
Let me guess, she’s gonna vote against him and he’s gonna win anyway? Shocking verdict.
Meanwhile Corretta Scott King’s niece Alveda King, an actual real life black woman, is cool with Sessions:
If Coretta Scott King “could look at the record of Senator Sessions today, with integrity, she would say, well, he has worked to prosecute the Ku Klux Klan. He has worked to desegregate public schools.” King also said that what Warren is doing is “almost like a bait and switch. Stir up the emotions, Use the name of King, and my name is Alveda King. Stir up people’s emotions. Play the race card.”
“If we take a look at my Aunt Coretta Scott King’s letter, we know that she was a peacemaker. Her intentions were never to divide during her whole life. I was her communications and correspondence secretary for several years when I was a young woman. And so in that letter, she would be referring to perhaps some of his comments, however, she would agree today that he, of course, ended some school desegregation. He worked to prosecute members of the KKK. Aunt Coretta was a very reasonable woman, and she, with integrity, would have noted that he had done some great work in fighting against discrimination.”
This is who represents us in Washington D.C. A national embarrassment. At least the other guy from Mass (Ed Markey) goes about his business, votes with the democrats 99% of the time, and doesn’t make us a national mockery. Instead of getting kicked off the Senate floor for repeatedly violating the rules he gives bad ass speeches about how awesome the Patriots are:

The bottom line is at the end of the day Elizabeth Warren IS Donald Trump. She panders to a specific fringe crowd. She’s brash and uncensored. She’s immature. She’s over the top and theatrical. She gets in pissing matches with everyone. Most importantly, she’s not good at making friends. And if you’re not good at making friends at work, then you can’t get anything done, which makes you kind of useless.
