In America you are allowed to be conservative, and you are allowed to be black. But apparently you’re not allowed to be conservative AND black. Honestly, black people who come out as conservative might be some of the bravest people in this country. You’re basically setting yourself up to be attacked by mobs of people calling you a traitor, or an Uncle Tom, or stuff like this from black lives matter “activists”:
That’s what happens when you step out of line and think for yourself. It’s cool though because Nate Pickens and other hateful people like him “can’t be racist” because only white people are capable of racism. Got it.
Newsflash Nate Pickens and all other race baiters – racism has a definition. It is not subjective. You do not get to interpret that word as you wish or redefine it. Here is the definition of racism:
In order to be guilty of racism a person must truly believe that ALL members of a particular race share the same characteristics, and that those characteristics are inferior to their own characteristics. That’s it. If a person does not believe in this then they are not racist. And OBVIOUSLY people of any race are capable of having these emotions. Luckily it is a VERY small, and insignificant segment of the population that still thinks this way.
Anyway, Turtleboy brings this up because we found someone else who is having similar Facebook issues as we are. Her pen name is Patty Politics, a Detroit woman who runs a page called “Young, Black, and Conservative.” The page has over 22,000 followers. It just hasn’t posted in a while because it’s suspended for 30 days for this:

So what was her crime exactly? Well here’s what she was going to write on her Facebook page, but she can’t, because she’s black and conservative and thus has been flagged by Facebook as racist:
We’ve had this same exact thing happen to us before actually. We report something that DOES violate Facebook’s terms and conditions (like a death threat, or someone pretending to be someone else) like this, and Facebook doesn’t take it down. So then we share a screenshot of what they said, in order to shame them, and WE end up getting the post taken down and receive a suspension. So Facebook’s policy is that racism, death threats, and fake names are OK, but shaming the people who threaten others, use fake names, and perpetuate racism is NOT OK because it hurts their feelings. Gotcha.
Here’s the thing – Facebook didn’t decide to take her page down because they think she’s racist. They took her page down because NO ONE WORKS AT FACEBOOK!! A human being did NOT review her post and reach the conclusion that her post was racist. A computer algorithm shut her page down because it was mass reported by racist trolls who mass reported. This is all it takes to manipulate the most powerful billion dollar corporation in North America. Any page can get shut down without due process. Facebook allows mobs of bullies to come together and attack people who express opinions they don’t agree with. They could fix this, but it would require hiring people to review each and every post. However, this would cost money and Mark Zuckerburg would rather buy a new boat. Normally people like Hillary Clinton and Elizabeth Warren would go after a billion dollar company that cuts corners like this, but since Mark Zuckerburg can donate unlimited money to their campaign war chests he gets a free pass.
Anyway, here’s a video Patty made that kind of sums up what she’s all about:
This Turtleboy does not necessarily agree with EVERYTHING that she says, but we will always fight for her right to have these opinions and express them freely. Anyone who tries to stop free speech is a Nazi and should be treated as such. Most importantly Patty Politics and Turtleboy are kindred spirits because we are going through the exact same thing right now. But unfortunately for the trolls it only strengthens our resolve and the Revolution only grows stronger as a result.
We urge you to support the Turtleboy Sponsors by doing business with them. Without them none of this is possible. Click on any of them to check out their sites or Facebook pages.
