This is the most asinine thing I’ve ever read on Masslive today:

After a man caught two men breaking into his car, they allegedly told him, “It won’t happen again” before running away. The 44-year-old victim chased them and eventually caught one of the suspects at the Cumberland Farms on Grafton Street, according to Worcester police. He’s facing charges after punching the suspect in the face. Around 11:45 p.m. Thursday, police responded to the Cumberland Farms and arrested one of the break in suspects, Davon Smith, 18, of 15 Ashland St.

The victim told police he lived nearby and when he returned home a car was blocking the entrance to his driveway. He went to several neighbors’ homes to try to find out who owned the car and when he came back out he saw two standing next to his car. When the victim asked if they owned the vehicle, they said, “it won’t happen again” and continued to walk away, the victim told police. The victim entered his car and found that it had been ransacked and his wallet missing, police said.

He began to chase the two men until they split up. The victim eventually caught up with Smith inside the convenience store, police said. Police said the victim found his wallet in the bathroom of the store. Police arrived and arrested Smith for breaking and entering into a motor vehicle in the nighttime to commit a felony. The victim was also charged with assault and battery because he punched the suspect in the face.

Are you kidding me? I’m sorry, but if you find out some little hood rat piss ant ransacked your car and stole your wallet, and then he made you chase his punk ass all around Grafton Hill, and then you finally caught up to him, then you have EVERY right to punch that little booger in the face. This guy isn’t a cop. He is not held to a higher standard. He’s a civilian who should be allowed to enact his own form of street justice. Do you think this whiny little puke is gonna care? Nope. He knew there was a chance of getting punched in the face when he broke into the guy’s car. He knows he deserved it.

And let’s be honest, when he goes to court they’re not gonna do anything to him anyway. We don’t wanna put the wrong picture of Davon Smith up on here, but we searched Facebook and every Davon Smith we could find is a real winner. It would incredibly hard not to punch any of those faces. Especially since he just stole from you and made you engage in exercise against your will.

The bottom line is that no one has respect for other people’s property anymore. If you see a guy trying to pull into his driveway, desperately looking for the dooshnozzle blocking it, and your first thought is, “this would be a great opportunity to rob this poor guy,” then you absolutely need a punch in the face because you are a troglodyte.

The cop should be fired. A little common sense can go a long way.

This is the same type of stuff that was being discussed in the blog about the cops tossing a few shots at the moron that took cops on the high speed chase last week on live TV.

Most people thought that the idiot criminal deserved what he got but technically, its against the law for the cops to do it. This civilian does it and gets arrested on the spot.

Looks like this kid is in the “school to prison pipeline”. About 5 years ago I pulled into the gas station by the rotary, and some 16 year old kid offered to fill my tank with a credit card he was holding for $20. I said “fuck off kid” and he looked at me like he couldn’t believe I wouldn’t go for his “deal”. Punk ass thieving kids!

I can understand why he didn’t because many years ago when I first moved to MA I lived in Worcester and our car kept getting broken into. One Friday night my husband and I were awake having a few drinks and play poker heads up when we heard a glass break… I was terrified because my husband immediately knew someone was breaking into our car AGAIN… He thought it was a great idea to run out there and he caught one of them. I was do scared and mad at him. He beat his ass to a pulp like a fucking rag doll.

I was so mad at him for putting himself in danger…. then very turned on afterwards….. Like, “Wow come here you sexy fucker you!!!!!!!!!!!” I have issues.

I’m definitely not drunk. I cant drink for another 5 weeks, and I wouldn’t drink this early even if I could.

Did that come off as an afternoon drunk post? Lol… ah well… I’m just random sometimes.

I’m thinking that this Smith kid told police he wanted to press charges. Usually the police won’t arbitrarily charge a victim of a robbery who punched a thieving douche bag in the face, just ‘because.’

That would make that little shit stain an even bigger piece of shit. If he actually had the balls to tell police he wanted to press charges for that, then he deservees a hell of a lot more than he got.

It would make sense too…assholees do this shit all the time these days. Like when a robber breakss his foot while robbing someone’s house and then sues the victim’s homeowners insurance for it. There is a special place in hell for the types of people that do that crap.

    This kid is a fucktard.

Im hoping he was arrested because when he hit the guy, he was in cuffs.

If he wasnt in cuffs, fuck him. If more people got a swift punch in the mouth everytime they broke the law instead of “You better not do this again”, there would be alot less bullshit going on.

Caught two kids trying to break into my wife’s car in our driveway about 10 years ago. Gave chase, and caught one of them and proceeded to pummel the dooshnozzle. All the while, the other kid is yelling for me to stop because his friend is “disabled”. Right, but not disabled enough to not break into cars late at night. As I had him pinned with my knee in his neck I called the cops. Cops came, I got up. I explained story, and cops says, “do you want to press charges?” I say “no, i think he learned his lesson.” Cop then says to litle dooshy, “I guess you won’t be trying to break into cars anymore, will you?”… smacked the kid in the head and told them both “get the fuck out of here before I throw you both in jail”. True story.

  • No Common Sense Anymore
    May 20, 2016 at 3:23 pm

Let’s face it. Most people have become jobsworths. They won’t risk anything that could endanger their jobs. The cops could have employed a little common sense and figured a way to let this guy walk rather than jam him up in the system. It’s not like the victim took this guy home and tortured him in his basement with a blowtorch for a week. I miss common sense, initiative, mercy and above all manliness. We have turned into a nation of wusses.

“breaking and entering into a motor vehicle in the nighttime”

Is it not a crime if it happens in the daytime?

    • BobnMic
      May 20, 2016 at 6:07 pm

Misdemeanor vs. Felony charge often times. Daytime misdemeanor nighttime (as defined) a felony. The use of term “with intent to commit a felony” in the daytime circumvents the stupid daytime nighttime rule which a lot of LE uses.

Anyway, everybody who hangs here in with comment crew knows I am 110% Law Enforcement on all levels. But I have say THIS is a first – If this is an accurate depiction of went down with the victim getting locked up (not withstanding outstanding warrants) then I am not on board with it. If he punched him in the face right in front of the Cops then there lies a problem the Cops have to deal with. A summons at that juncture would have been more than sufficient unless a weapon was used and based on the charges that does not seem to be the case.

But if the Cops get on scene after the punching then it can be a case of “what punching?” You must have fell while you were running you little weenie fucking piece of wasted space.
