The mainstream media failing to do even the most basic investigations before publishing has been a big subject this week. The amount of shit they are missing is a serious problem and this latest gaff is pretty embarrassing.

You wonder why people are dropping dead from heroin.

Fox 25, the same news channel that refused to source us because we are “degrading to women,” polished this turd and put it on the news yesterday.

KINGSTON, Mass.A new Opiod law is meant to keep powerful drugs out of the wrong hands, but the law appears to be keeping medicine out of the hands of a South Shore man who nearly died in a chain saw accident.

Tom Carroll was seriously injured while cutting trees on his property in Kingston.

Because of what he says is a hospital screw-up, he can’t get his painkillers and is now in unbearable pain.

It’s incredibly frustrating, unbelievably painful. Can’t describe it,” Carroll told FOX25.

He severed his calf while cutting wood on his property nearly three weeks ago. Carroll spent nine days at Boston Medical Center undergoing five surgeries.

When he was discharged, Carroll’s wife Jenna claims his doctor inadvertently sent his prescription to two separate pharmacies, which made it appear that he got 300 pills.

“Because of that, it looks as if my husband received twice as much pain medication as received,” Jenna Goldstein explained.

“So after I went through the 100 pills, I went back and said, ‘I’m in pain.’ They said there’s no way we can give you more medicine. You went through 200 pills in four days,” he told FOX25.

Because the hospital called in two prescriptions, he is now banned from getting more medication under a new law signed last year by Gov. Charlie Baker.

The law is “to limit an opioid prescription to a 7-day supply for a first time adult prescriptions.”

“In their defense, they’re abiding by the law, but the mistake created, it looked like I took twice as much medicine as I did,” said Carroll.

Carroll has been taken off the DEA’s database, but can’t get more painkillers until next week.

Until then, he has been prescribed a low dosage of morphine. But it’s now been a week without powerful painkillers.

“it’s like something I could never describe. I’d rather get hit in the ribs with a baseball bat than feel this pain,” Carroll said.

We reached out to Boston Medical Center. The hospital said they are “reviewing this case so they can resolve the issue.”

You’d rather get hit with a baseball bat, which is painful, than be in pain without your drugs? Seems legit.

So let me get this straight, this guy manages to chomp 100 pills in four days, when his pill bottle says take one every four hours, is upset that someone called it in to two pharmacies (which he had to give them) and now he’s blaming the hospital because he didn’t have another 100 of them? Whaaaaaaaat?

Math: 25 pills a day. 6.25 pills every four hours.

He’s eating SIX TIMES the amount he’s supposed to be consuming.
Yeah, no problem here. Not even close.

So he was eating these things like Tic Tacs, ran out weeks ahead of time, and so he called the news? Fucking really?

Well, Fox 25 was jerking this guy off so hard on the news broadcast that I’m surprised Tom didn’t climax on the camera lens.

Here is the problem: Turns out that Weeping Tom got bagged a couple years ago for…. you guessed it! Selling Coke and prescription medications! He spent time in jail for it too! I mean the fact that they spent ten seconds zooming in on the bottle for the broadcast was enough for some kind of red flag to go off.

It was literally the first god damn thing that came up under a Google search.

Watch the video now that you know this guy is a drug-doing con artist. It’s like Fox 25 was blowing this guy for a fix of their own.

Maybe it was a zipper trip?

This guy was jonesing so bad he actually called the god damn Mainstream Media to cry about it…. AND THEY BOUGHT IT! I’m stupefied about what an enormous fail this is.

He’s also got a history of domestic abuse.

Yeah, he’s clearly the face of a failed law.

I wonder what the hospital investigation will find now that we outted this sleazy prick. He needs to go back on the DEA list and maybe check himself in to a rehab. This is the EXACT reason why the law exists and Fox decided to make THIS GUY a victim. Unreal.

Or maybe some folks paid attention to the news when they were explaining the new laws. Or have a job that exposes them to the information. You know, a job? Hmmm, probably not.

Having to fill a prescription for Percoset (and therefore knowing the rules) doesn’t make you a degenerate….however, wolfing down 100 percs in 4 days and being arrested for unlawful possession of prescription medications might…

My husband has surgery so yes I also know that, hard copies only for pain meds. That’s also an outrageous amount of painkillers.

This dude must be a real pussy or drug seeking. I know people who have been hurt worse then him, lost limbs, became paralyzed, or like myself fighting myeloid leukemia and arent in that much pain to eat 25 pain pills a day even if they were vicodin or Tylenol 3. I’m confused? It’s been a law for awhile that all schedule II narcotics need an actual hard copy of the script given to the pharmacist by the patient in order to be filled. A doctor’s office or hospital can NOT fax or e send a narcotic script. No pharmacy will fill it as it’s against the law and a pharmacist can lose their license by doing so. For a time schedule 5 medication such as Vicodin, Xanax, Tramadol could be filled by a fax or e send with a hard copy of the script to follow but that has since changed also. As well as a national database linked in all 50 states where all controlled or narcotic scripts are scanned in and any pharmacy can see the script as well as when ans where it was filled wheather or not you pay cash or have insurance to avoid ppl getting 2 scripts and paying cash at 1 pharmacy and using ins at another. Secondly Morphine even in lower doses is more powerful then Percocet or Vicodin for pain but it’s made with time release and if time release is broken it still won’t give all the drug in one shot so you don’t get high. That is why ppl who use it for legitimate pain management don’t get the euphoric feeling from morphine as they would from a Percocet.

I’m confused. Oxycotin (Oxycodone) is a controlled substance. I take both this AND MS Contin (Morphine). My Dr doesn’t have the luxury of calling it in, because THAT is allegedly against the law. Controlled substances are supposed to be brought in, in person, in order for them to be filled. This is SO frustrating. Especially if this is self inflicted. DUMBASS

As an RN at a large hospital, let me clarify a few things. First it’s not possible to “call in” any opiod prescription so it’s a lie that his prescription was called into 2 pharmacies. You have to drop it off in person with your license. How can fox 25 not know this with all their investigative reporting. Second, no doctor would prescribe 100 oxycodone pills at once no matter what the injury. The bottle says 60 which is probably the max. And who the hell would admit to taking 100 oxycodone pills in 4 days and how would fox 25 not realize this is so excessive it should not even be aired? They should have checked this guy into rehab.

Bertha’s hubby can’t even get his ADHD meds without a hard copy prescription, and a driver’s license, and he’s not even in pain, just unfocused in meetings.

Fact check – Opioids can’t be called into ANY pharmacy! Patients need to bring the physical script to the pharmacy in order to get those meds filled. What a dumbass!!!! Keep putting those scumbags on blast!!!!

“This is why you should only trust Turtleboy.”…..unless there’s math involved.

100 pills in 4 days would be just over 4 pills for each 4 hour period (4.166667 to be exact). Still way over the dosage, though.

Chainsaw thru the leg, eh? Some people will do anything to vet their pills.

    • lolwhut
      April 13, 2017 at 8:59 pm

… and there is NO WAY that any doc will renew if the patient does not follow directions and gobbles opioids – that’s a sure way for the doc to get flagged and they are NOT going to go there.
Plus, as stated above- those scrips HAVE TO be presented at the pharmacy by the person they were prescribed for, along with a valid ID or… no percs for you!
Fox News, you are almost as stupid as Chainsaw Surgery Guy.

Give the guy his medicine! All 300 pills, all at once, all chased with Vodka. Please! This shitbag has no value to society. Let’s send him out compliments of the law abiding, hardworking, clean living people.

As far as painkillers, unless you get surgery, bust a bone, have cancer or get a bad infection there should be no prescription. Bad back? Most of the time that’s because you swallowed too many cheeseburgers and beer for too many years. Get off your fat ass, exercise and shut the fuck up.

how do you severe your calf muscle cutting trees down? if your cutting trees down as the FOX25 article says, you cant severe your calf muscles because its BEHIND YOU and not in front. maybe he did in a freak accident where he dropped it behind him some how but wouldn’t the saw stop turning the chains?

also if two prescriptions were sent, one by accident, there should be records to indicate 1 was signed out for at the time of pick up.

    Pain is the worse
    April 13, 2017 at 6:34 pm

I’m not sticking up for this guy because it’s obvious he has problems, but I’ve always had a low tolerance for pain. I’m a redhead and it’s actually scientifically proven redheads need more anesthesia, more meds for pain control, feel more pain, but do you think doctors take that into consideration when you’re in pain or have surgery? Nope.
My dentist is always reminding me about that, and he’s married to a redhead and is always telling me she’s a “wimp” when it comes to pain. Yet, you know how many times, in all the dental procedures I’ve had done, cavities, root canals, wisdom teeth removal, teeth removals, dental implants he’s gave me something for pain? Even when i called the next day crying hysterically because I was in so much pain? Nothing, not even once.

I too, have a low tolerance to pain. My fear is that when someone who doesn’t sell or abuse really needs something–they won’t get it. Please tell me who is your dentist, and I will steer clear.

    Wtf
    April 13, 2017 at 3:43 pm

Something is very wrong with the story. Percs can not be called or faced to any pharmacy in Massachusetts. A hard copy of the script has to be gotten from dr and handed to the pharmacy. That’s how the opiates are done now. And since everything is connected the pharmacies , had a script been faxed in duplicate would have figured it out before anything non opiate was even filled.

That is 100% true…and I just had a 2nd fem pop bypass..I had over 200 staples in both legs..and when I was released from the hospital I got a hard copy prescription.. for 40 Percocet. I’ve never heard being released and given a prescription for 100!! And like you said…they run your information so they would have seen another prescription recently filled!!
