So the other day in Holyoke there was a deadly fire that killed three people. And according to the Holyoke Firefighter’s Union and LOTS of people who live there, it all could’ve been avoided if Mayor Alex Morse had provided the FD with a truck that they’ve been asking for:

Here’s why the FF Union is pissed:

In the wake of a New Year’s Day fire that killed three and left dozens homeless, the state firefighters union on Tuesday called on Mayor Alex B. Morse to restore a fire engine that has been taken out of service due to budget cuts.

“The 12,000 members of the Professional Firefighters of Massachusetts stand with our brothers and sisters in Holyoke in grieving with the families of the three victims,” Rich MacKinnon Jr., president of the state union, stated in a release issued jointly with Holyoke Firefighters Local 1693. “We call on Mayor Morse to reinstate Engine 2 immediately.”

The fire department announced in December 2014 that it would occasionally shut down Engine 2, which operates out of the department’s headquarters at 600 High St., during staffing shortages because of dwindling overtime funds.

During a press conference Monday, both Morse and Fire Chief John A. Pond said the “browned-out” engine did not impede firefighting efforts.

Morse, asked if there “were enough firefighters and fire trucks to handle the situation,” replied “Yeah, without a doubt. I think the fire department responded within a minute. I think the biggest challenge with this fire that we could confirm was a delay in the calling of the fire.”

Brown-out did not affect the response to this fire,” Pond said.

Morse said the fire department was “effectively staffed in addition to mutual aid provide by Easthampton, Chicopee and South Hadley.”

The union statement, however, challenged the assertions made by Morse and Pond.

“Engine 2 — out of service for most of two years — is located at 600 High St., along with Engine 1 and Truck 1, and it’s personnel would have had a significant impact on the fire. This is a dangerous statement to make,” Chad Cunningham, president of the local union, said in the statement.

During a press conference Tuesday, Morse reiterated his comments that the additional engine would not have changed the outcome of the fire.

The mayor went on to say: “This is not the time or place for politics. There are people’s lives that are lost.”

Is there a bigger piece of garbage in politics right now than Alex Morse? Firefighters are the experts when it comes to fighting and preventing fires, right? I mean, this is what they do for a living after all. But he’s smarter than them. He knows more about fighting fires than they do. How could an extra fire engine help put out a fire? Doesn’t make any sense. It’s not like those fire engines are equipped with water hoses, ladders, and human beings trained in putting out fires.

Seriously though, how does this guy sleep at night? Three people are dead because of him. Make no doubt about it. They’d be alive if he could do his job. His job is to make sure the schools, fire department, public works, and police function smoothly. He allocates the resources to them that they need to do their job. That’s his only job. The firefighters asked for an engine, and he didn’t give it to them. He failed at his job and now three people are dead. And he’s gonna sit here and tell them that they don’t know what they’re talking about? Fuck this guy.

Of course the fire chief is nothing more than a political hack as well. Too often in city governments it’s the ass kissers and climb to the top of the fire and police departments. Not all the time, just some of the time. But make no mistake about it – John Pond is protected by Alex Morse, and he’s just being a good soldier by not blaming him for this. That’s why the firefighter’s union has asked the chief to resign.

This quote was my favorite:

“This is not the time or place for politics. There are people’s lives that are lost.”

Translation – stop pointing out that I got three people killed. It hurts my feelings and it’s giving me a headache.

Newsflash – the firefighters aren’t making it about politics. All they want is the tools to do their job so they can save lives. That’s it. A janitor asking for a mop bucket isn’t being political. How is this about politics for them? What do they have to gain? They’re not asking for a new contract or a raise or better health benefits. They’re asking that you do your job by giving them the tools to do their job. They never mentioned your political opponents. The only one making this tragedy about politics is you, as usual. Which is why you’re constantly asking that people donate to your slush fund.

Of course the real reason he didn’t find a way to make sure that fire engine was operational, was because he was too busy playing social justice warrior. Ya see, Alex Morse is a climber. He’s a real shining star in the democratic party, and it’s rumored that he’s going to be running for State Senate.

He’s got it all too. He knows all the buzzwords, he uses hashtags, he’s been a loyal soldier for the machine, he protested the election of Donald Trump, he cuts ribbons,

14063775_10157266405055333_7444358550668425665_n

he takes slum sociables for photo ops with small children who don’t look like him,

screen-shot-2017-01-04-at-2-58-18-pm

and he constantly has to remind you that he is in fact homosexual. As if anyone cares about that anymore in 2017.

screen-shot-2017-01-04-at-2-59-31-pm

So what exactly has Alex Morse has been doing the last year when he could’ve been finding a way to keep the citizens of Holyoke alive? Well, he banned all city employees from traveling to North Carolina because they passed a law that prevents penis from infiltrating the women’s locker rooms. Sure, no one from Holyoke would ever go there for business anyway and this does absolutely nothing to provide city services for taxpayers in Holyoke. But you’re missing the big picture. Saving lives in Holyoke isn’t important. The most important thing for a rising SJW like Alex Morse is for guys like this to be able to take a shit in the girl’s bathroom:

george05-1

He made sure the parks in Holyoke got new signs:

screen-shot-2017-01-04-at-2-56-11-pm

He spent over a $1 million on a pool:

screen-shot-2017-01-04-at-2-54-02-pm

And he bought every teacher and student in the public schools a laptop:

screen-shot-2017-01-04-at-2-56-37-pm

So yea, he was kind of out of cash when it came time to help out the fire department.

What else has he been up to? Oh yea, he’s actually trying to make sure the City of Holyoke gets LESS money from the federal government because he wants to make Holyoke a sanctuary city:

screen-shot-2017-01-04-at-3-01-21-pm screen-shot-2017-01-04-at-3-01-31-pm

Because who needs millions in federal funding when you have to win a pissing match with Donald Trump? Plus, why should the city of Holyoke provide basic, life-saving necessities to firefighters when they should be providing taxpayer funded services to undocumented immigrants?

Oh yea, and there’s no time to do your job when you’re perpetuating the myth that Donald Trump inspired record setting amounts of hate crimes, including several in Holyoke directed at him. It wasn’t that long ago that Alex Morse found a letter in his mailbox that said he was “going down” due to his “gay lifestyle.”

15135899_10157745484230333_6270527394508621555_n

Without any knowledge of who wrote it, he immediately blamed it on Trump and brought it to the media’s attention:

screen-shot-2016-11-19-at-3-30-06-pm

We speculated that he wrote the note himself. But as it turns out, we were wrong. However, our overall point was that Alex Morse had no idea who wrote that note, yet he still blamed it on a Trump supporter. If he can throw out blanket accusations without evidence, why can’t we?

As it turns out it was some crazy guy in town named Paul Bowes, who is basically the Holyoke version of Kevin Lynch. He’s run for office in Holyoke before, but no one really takes him seriously because he’s insane. And if you look at the stuff he retweets, it’s almost always stuff that is critical of Donald Trump:

screen-shot-2017-01-04-at-3-19-32-pm

screen-shot-2017-01-04-at-3-18-56-pm

But please, tell me more about how “Trump’s America” did this to Alex Morse.

Anyway, we don’t care that Alex Morse is gay. He wants us to hate him for it, but we don’t. We do however care that he’s an incompetent politician who got people killed and isn’t taking responsibility for it. Right now he’s Holyoke’s problem, but people like him climb in this state. And if we don’t call this guy out on his bullshit, then eventually he’s going to become a problem for all of us.

Well if the fire engine is just having electrical problems, why is it such an issue to fix it? much cheaper than a new truck. I’ll fix it myself. I am certified technician. Pretty shitty when 3 people die or a lack of man power or equipment shortage in the department, and the money that can be used to fund things needed for the community, like, say, oh, a fire engine. What is it going to take? A grease fire at your house, and someone, or your whole family burning to death because the fire department lacks necessities? Instead of lining the pockets of the people who do not need the money to buy another flashy car, or giant TV, or gaudy jewelry, expensive suit, or whatever, use the money to save lives, for fuck sake.

The people of Holyoke and surrounding towns should be up in arms over this! Do they realize this means their fire department only has enough manning on to handle one call at a time? So if they are tied up on a call and something else comes in they’re relying on mutual aid to cover their ass. It’s unfair to the citizens and firefighters of both Holyoke and their surrounding towns. Plus most fire departments handle all medical calls to 911 normally, I’m honestly not sure about Holyoke but if that is the case this is appalling.

You forgot the city’s bully who was a Morse guy. The ass hole used to make fun of cripples. When he died, Morse named an annual day after him.

Wow, stunned and very disappointed in him. I have met him a few times and he seemed like a nice enough guy. So sad. Anyone with a brain could see that it would’ve been better to have more fire trucks at that blazing building. I read it was an electrical fire too. Very scary shit.

Mickey Morse couldn’t care less about the victims, the city or the citizens. I hope to god someone is running against him. Ask anyone who works with special education students if they have the use of laptops… or even computers… he turned Holyoke into Holyjoke!

Yes, I actually worked with a Holyoke Special Needs teacher who would tell me all about it at her other job. She ended up moving out of state to teach. Lost a good, young teacher in Massachusetts. And here I thought education was the main problem in Holyoke, until I learned people better haul ass over to Pouliot Pool for a dunk to be saved.

No surprise, when busted like he was. The blame game starts, always to blame others with less power. The blood is on his hands.

“Let’s not make this about politics.”

But if those poor people who died in the fire had been killed by guns, he would immediately make it about politics, cuz that’s what progressives do.

    Jackass.
