Did you know you can start a GoFundMe to get your kid back from the baby Daddy? Well, according to this GoFundMe you can:

Screen Shot 2016-06-03 at 10.07.03 PMScreen Shot 2016-06-03 at 10.07.25 PM Yea, this story sounds legit. Perfectly on the level I’m sure. The judge gave Dad custody because he filed a restraining order against her before she could file one against him. Because that’s how the law works. Plus, she said she was 30,000 miles away from the baby Daddy. Hopefully someone tells her that the circumference of the Earth is only 25,000 miles, so she’s closer than she thinks.

Oh yea, and how bout the fact that if she doesn’t show up in court in Washington then she’s not gonna be able to see the kid for a year. I’m sure there’s nothing else to that story, because judges arbitrarily do that to single Moms all the time. And she wasn’t allowed to work because the baby Daddy had PTSD? Yea, that makes sense. In other words, she was unemployed.

Anyway, we Googled Sarah Enquist and this came up:

I’m not a lawyer, but it would seem to me that an abuse prevention order would be something you’d get if you abused your kid. Ya know to PREVENT you from doing it again. I’m just having a hard time believing that a court would issue an abuse prevention order against a loving mother without any sort of evidence. Just sayin.

Hey Sarah, here’s an idea – if your story is real and you wanna show the judge you’re capable of being the custodial parent, then don’t start a GoFundMe to finance getting your kid back.

I have not read all the comments but I’m sure she meant 30,000 FEET IN the air.

Those were the first things that hit me on this story too, 1 – how did she find a pay phone that actually worked? and 2 – 30,000 miles in the air sounds about right for this space cadet… here is hoping that this kid ends up being raised by someone halfway normal, although if only half of this insanity is true, then this kid sadly stands very little chance.

Either this story is a total fabrication or this girl is clearly unfit to raise a child. #1. She had to use a payphone to call home? I didn’t even know they still exist. #2 I just checked and for an adult and a child to fly one way from Seattle to Boston it’s a whopping $191.00. So either her hard working blue collar family work for peanuts or pan handling is slow this year. How would any sane person contribute a dime towards this cause? It would be like sentencing the child to a life of poverty.

There’s something odd here. Judges are horrifically biased toward women in custody suits. There has to be an incredible amount of evidence for a judge to award custody to the father.

Correct. I have always said that when a man gets custody, the mother must really be a piece of work. I mean lowest of the low.

This was just an alleged restraining order – not custody. And if she left the state (it was 30k miles in the air – she must be half way to the moon on an asteroid some where), it’s not surprising if he could file for temporary custody after the RO.

I’m torn on whether I believe her or not. Her story seems plausible, yet a lot of inconsistencies. Another reason people shouldn’t use their phones to post stuff like this, besides all the typos and lack of punctuation. Sit down on a PC or laptop or tablet, and get your thoughts straight before you post your story. You’ll get much better feedback if it is written well, spelling and grammar are correct, etc. Otherwise it can make you look like a boob trying to scam. My 2 cents.

The moon is roughly 240,000 miles away, so more like one eighth of the way – not half. But you’re right otherwise.

I must have missed something in this article. Story is very incomplete.

Child or children? She only flew home with one or he only has low tolerance for the one?

I’m going to open a fund me page to get away from my abusive cat…. he keeps scarring my skin with his velociraptor claws!

I think the city was clearly discriminating against homosexuals by forcing the Paris Theater to close. Just like kids, you have to give them a place to play and let out their frustrations.

You need to choose an avatar. If it happened once it will happen again. Also, Kevin doesn’t waste time making fake accounts because he’s too busy sitting in his moms basement thinking of the next bullshit police brutality story he can post on MassLive for sympathy. Then TB posts a link of his murder, and he goes away for a week.

Fuck it, it’s flattering. I love you fellow turtle riders, but choosing an avatar is a big commitment, I don’t know if I’m ready for that.

A harrassment prevention order is similar to a 209-A restraining order. Don’t know how that applies in this situation. Sounds odd.
