Everyone is buzzing about the police chase from Holden to Nashua, NH yesterday, not because the driver could’ve killed a million people, but because of the way the cops handled him when they got here. If you haven’t seen it yet, watch:

First things first – thank God this guy was white. Thank God. Now instead of protests and highway blockades we can have an actual conversation about this. And as a white guy I can proudly say that this guy’s life does not matter to me. He is a dangerous and selfish individual who had zero problem killing innocent people yesterday because he was too gutless to turn himself in on the multiple outstanding warrants out for his arrest. I don’t side with people simple because we share a similar skin pigmentation.

Secondly, the way this is being framed by the media is everything that is wrong with the media:

Screen Shot 2016-05-12 at 9.13.38 AM

This was a chase that lasted over an hour, along main roads where children were walking home from school. And all the media is concerned with is the 8 second video of him being taken down. Notice the headline makes no mention whatsoever of the danger this man put other people in.

Was this proper police takedown? I don’t know because I’m not a cop and I haven’t been through the academy. I don’t tell a plumber how to unclog my pipes after Turtleboy Jr. wipes his ass with paper towels, and I’m not gonna tell cops how to do their job. But if I had to guess I would say no. And yes, the police need to be more aware when millions of people are watching.

Screen Shot 2016-04-30 at 11.17.50 PM

With that said, who gives a shit? Everyone on my Facebook feed is siding with this guy and turning on the cops, which is EXACTLY what the media wants you to do. They want you to focus on the least important aspect of this entire ordeal. He almost killed a million people on a 40 mile police chase. Oh yea, and he’s had a bad habit of leading police on chases like this in the past. Would anyone have a problem if this guy got pummeled after killing someone? Because I would have zero problem with it.

Plus, he got punched in the face. Boo-hoo. You know how many times I’ve been punched in the face? Turtleboy kind of has a big mouth so it comes with the territory. It’s not like the cops tazed or maced or shot him. A few closed fists to the dome that the guy rightfully earned. Since when is getting punched in the face such a big deal? Act like you’ve been there before.

Here’s another thing – we are living in a state where criminals get notoriously light sentences, even when they have long criminal rap sheets of dooshnozzelry. The fact of the matter is that this guy tried to kill lots of people yesterday and he’s been in front of LOTS of judges before. Yet he’s still out there. The purpose of punishment is to act as a detriment for anyone considering breaking the law. And clearly this guy did not fear doing what he did yesterday. Maybe now he does. Maybe someone else out there who might endanger your family will think twice before doing the same thing. It’s all fun and games when you lead police on a high speed chase and get a slap on the wrist from a Deval Patrick-appointed judge. But it’s not so fun when you’re getting punched in the face.

The bottom line is Turtleboy will never, ever have sympathy for a professional scumbag like this. The cops should get a slap on the wrist at worst, because that’s all this career criminal has been getting his entire life. Don’t wanna get punched in the face repeatedly? Don’t have outstanding warrants and don’t lead police on a 40 mile chase during rush hour. Problem solved.

P.S. Naturally this this scumbag is from Worcester. Because, of course he’s from Worcester.

Well, from a purely Constitutional standpoint, it’s not the job of the police to pass judgement or to punish a suspect regardless of how guilty that individual may be. That’s the job of the courts.

Second, the police may very well have given the suspect a very good defense. If he was running from the cops, he can argue he was afraid for his own safety and the cops certainly helped that defense by assaulting him after he was subdued.

Third, the cops broke the law in the execution of their official duties. This suspect is likely to sue both the State of New Hampshire and Massachusetts and he will win. The law is the law and no matter what you think of this guy, he was unlawfully assaulted. He will likely win a substantial civil suit that will cost both states millions of dollars.

It isn’t bleeding heart liberals who recognize this was a wrongful assault. It’s the rest of us rational people who recognize the kind of damage that is likely to come from this. The cops had one job. To apprehend the suspect and turn him over to the judicial system. Every one of the cops who participated in this assault should be fired.

Wrong again. Well written albeit better than any of those that disagree but once again weak in argument. I respectfully disagree. I have said in many previous comments that YES it looked bad. It looked shitty. But any physical confrontation in 2016 with Law Enforcement looks bad because the liberal way way left media will put our men and women in blue always out to be the bad guys. And the BLM so called movement will run with this all the way to the bank. And by the way that is what BLM is really all about.

I’ve entered a rational explanation about this and some incidents like this in previous comments. If you care – look them up because I am not going to repeat myself here yet again.

If a civilian was caught on video beating this man, he or she would be charged with battery from the state and then likely be sued by the man’s family in civil court. That civilian’s life would be changed forever. A copy however has a union and local government to shield him. Right now those cops in that video are enjoying paid vacation.

Massachusetts law says you can’t harm anyone that someone poses a clear threat, and a man with on his knees with his hands behind his head is not a threat. Doesn’t matter if you think he deserves it, all that matters is what is happening in the moment.

And to the folks complaining about the cameras as if it’s a new phenomenon, this footage was recorded by TV networks from a helicopter, not an iPhone. The same technology that was used to capture the OJ Simpson chase 20 years ago.

Lastly, if cops beat (or even shoot) folks who surrender with their hands above his head, like this man did, then why surrender peacefully? Might as well go down fighting, amiright?

Ok show me that exact M.G.L., chapter and section. I like how the SJW internet lawyers make up this shit and they think it’s sounds good and sound. It is way more complex than that my friend with a boo boo face.

And while you are at it produce a typical or any law enforcement force continuum protocol that may vary in language but is similar in the degree of execution. Do that and you will the King of all Cop haters and the rest of us will yield toward your greatness, bow and be in motherfucking awe.

Wow. The stupidity here is like a fucking plague. Go back to western Massachusetts you fucking SJW trolls. And on the way back, fuck off.

cops should never sucker punch anyone in the back of the head when they are in a fetal position. That is something I would do because I thought the guy deserved it. I thought the guys in blue were suppose to be better men than me not the same when put under certain situations. Their job is to enforce the law not to hand out punishments how the see fit. Which is what they signed up for to defuse harsh and dangerous situations and bring them to justice, not deliver the justice.I’ve met plenty of good cops and I know plenty of corrupt ones too, and that cop who punched a surrending unsung gives good cops a bad name and bad cops another excuse to abuse power. You can call it what you want but there are about 6 other cops right there who didn’t sucker punch him, because they signed up for the right reasons. We should praise those cops who handled the situation like their job is meant to be done and punish the one who did not.

Some of you people are just unbelievable. It is NEVER OK for police officers to take justice into their own hands. It is NEVER Ok for them to beat someone up just because they are pissed. WTF is wrong with you people? Their job is to serve and protect, not kick and punch. If they truly felt that the guy was still a threat they should have tazed him. They were macho dudes who got their balls in a bunch and let their testosterone take over. I hope they are fired and have criminal charges levied against them.

      May 13, 2016 at 3:50 pm

Melissa. This is the real me – disregard this other stalker and imposter with using my name. I respectfully do not agree with you however I must admit. The use of a taser means of subduing a combative subject is way up there in most uniformed force continuum protocals. Taser guns have killed people especially those with a heart condition for instance. And most force continuum protocols list taser use right under firearm use. And this scenario did not call for any of the two and they were not deployed by the professionals on scene.

A physical approach to a non-compliant good sized adult man was how Simone was brought under control and into custody. No cap stun, expandable batons, tasers or firearms. Law Enforcement did a great job with nobody getting hurt or killed.

SJWs will say the opposite. Did it look bad? Of course it did. What physical confrontation looks good unless you are at a boxing match? None. I get it and most reasonable people do as well.

      • Melissa
        May 13, 2016 at 3:57 pm

you will note that beating the crap out of a suspect is not listed anywhere in the force continuum. There is a good reason for that.

And he was not combative. He was in the process of lying down on the ground.

        • BobnMic
          May 13, 2016 at 4:04 pm

No Melissa he was non-compliant and there no such thing as half giving up. Physical restraint after verbalization (commands) is definitely in every LE’s protocol local, state and federal. Military as well.

Sorry turtle, but if you truly supported law enforcement, you would be disgusted with what these cops did. This criminal needs to go away for a long time and never see the light of day, but his punishment is up to a judge and a jury of his peers, NOT the officers that arrested him. The guy was going to the ground, hands visible, on his own accord. He was surrendering. To proceed to beat and batter is excessive force for someone who has given themself up. This guy could have killed someone and his actions make me sick. I can see where police officers would be infuriated with him, BUT they need to be held to higher standard and keep their heads cool. These few bad cops just painted a negative target on the backs of all the great policemen out there and it only puts them in more danger. If police get caught using this kind of force for someone surrendering, criminals will know not to go down without a fight and we could lose an officer that way. Police are here to PROTECT AND SERVE, not be judge, jury, and executioner. They are not hired to hand down whatever punishment they feel the person “deserves.” I will wash my mouth out after saying this, but this scumbag who led police on a chase across two states still has rights and they were clearly violated. I urge the public to know most cops are not like this, please show them respect and cooperate. They have families and are just doing their job. Don’t let the actions of these few give us a false perception of them as a whole.

Give the douche $10,000 per punch, then deduct from that amount the cost of all the resources he wasted with his reckless behavior, all the damage he caused, and every fine for all his moving violations. Hmmmmm, I think he owes us money. Now put him in jail earning $2/day making license plates until he pays off the balance owed. Sounds fair to me. He will be doing 20 years.

  • Zero Checks and Balances Equals...
    May 12, 2016 at 8:57 pm

You (police) are paid to act like a professional and serve and protect the citizens, not act like a dirtbag Irish Times bouncer beating up lawbreaking citizens. This is the result of zero checks and balances.

I’m tired of some of the reckless police that cost taxpayers money. No one cares about the speeding scumbag getting punched, but we do care that the taxpayers will have to pay hundreds of thousands for those punches.

I couldn’t have said it any better than a previous poster:
Working in law enforcement is incredibly difficult, dangerous, and often thankless. However, part of what makes the job so hard is that police absolutely must be held to a higher standard than the rest of us. They don’t get to act like thugs because someone pissed them off. It doesn’t matter if the guy deserved it, that’s not for the cops to decide and these officers clearly let their emotions get the best of them.
Blindly supporting police when they are in the wrong is just as bad as supporting criminals like this clown who got beat. These officers should be officially reprimanded, required to undergo additional training, and given another chance to serve with the understanding that another incident won’t be tolerated.
I 100% support our LEOs but they have to be called out when lines are crossed, just like anyone else.

Oh yes, it’s such a dangerous job that beating the snot out of a guy who is clearly surrendering.. oh what if he had a hidden lightning bolt up his ass and was about to attack with it. Holy shit, beat the fucking tar out of him.

Yes, it is a tuff job. That’s why they make 2-3 times what they average American makes (go look, salaries are public). And thank god he is white.. if you saw a black guy NOT in uniform beating the tar out of a white guy surrendering holy shit THE FUCKING CRIPS ARE COMING TO WORCESTER.

Why is this so hard to understand. We give them guns. We give them extra-legal rights. They don’t then get to do whatever the fuck they want.

Well actually they do, obviously. Because of douchbags like a good 3/4 of those posting on this who will excuse whatever they do, just like good little brown shirts.

Your argument is devoid of logic…what business does media have on demonizing police? There is a reason I don’t read your articles. They make zero sense.

If police can do this, where is the line drawn? If you allow police to beat a man while he’s down, at not resisting, where do we stop? I don’t pay my tax dollars to the Mafia, I pay it to a government that is supposed to follow the law. The guy sucks, and I would personally punch him in the face given the chance. But at no point should they just tee off on him while he’s on the ground. It’s unprofessional and dangerous to our liberties. This isn’t a “liberal” issue, it’s a common sense issue.

If you condone violence as a means of punishment, then maybe we should just being back public executions. That’ll teach em right. No you fucking idiots. we have a judicial system for a reason. Justice shouldn’t be handled by pissed off police. that’s not how it works.

Seriously it does not matter what color your skin is. If your a fucknut like this dude – you get treated the same whether your white, black or fucking purple. May 12, 2016 at 2:50 pm

Let’s remember one thing here: the chase need in NEW HAMPSHIRE. They have slightly different rules up there. If they decide not to extradite and charge him up there, he could easily do jail time.

This no good piece of shit deserved more that he got. He was screaming through streets right around here (Holden, West Boylston and may Sterling), then took a couple portions of the heroin highway to Chelmsford and through Billerica and Tyngsborough then back onto to the highway into New Hampshire back onto streets.

The pursuit then went back onto city streets in Hudson NH and right down fucking Main St in Nashua. With his history of evading, then foot bailing, the cops needed to make sure he want going anywhere before they cuffed him.

Good job by the cops. Just too bad the hell camera didn’t pull out in time (like this asshole’s daddy should have)

    • BobnMic
      May 12, 2016 at 3:28 pm

I hear ya Non Sequitor, I honestly do. The upside is that nobody go hurt or killed which to even include fucknuts McGillacutty himself. As bad as it was it could have easily been a whole lot worse. One big point that the Turtle was making with this one is the media’s attitude and quick judgment to crucify Law Enforcement and the media once again shows on the scene footage totally out of full context. It is not fair for our protectors in blue. It’s like blaming the innocent guy giving a beat down on the other guy who started the fight. Not right and no excuse. Our Cops and Troopers deserve much better than that.

And my question is why? What is the motivation? Does the main stream media want a no prisons – no police proposition that the whack jobs out in western MA want? If that ever happens I’m out of here and will reside on the south side of the Trump wall.

Maybe he deserved this. The only problem is I just don’t think it helps anything. Yeah on a personal level from the cop he put his own life in danger chasing this guy. I feel like he may get off easier from this and not punished like he should be. Thoughts?

    • BobnMic
      May 12, 2016 at 12:46 pm

Well Cody my man I said what I thought above. This is no game where criminals get to set the rules. It’s never been that way, it isn’t now and it will never be. Law Enforcement did a great job. That dude is not vertically challenged. That dude is a good sized adult male so when he fails to comply by simply putting his arms and hands behind his back when verbally ordered to do so – he will be physically forced to do so. End of story that is how “the game” is played.

Look, I know it looks ugly I agree with that. But this what our men and women in Law Enforcement are up against 24/7/365. And I am very disappointed in David Wade and Lisa Hughes from WBZ for going so left on this they almost spun around.

      • Trump's boy penis
        May 12, 2016 at 1:04 pm

Just as it is not the criminals who get to set the rules , it is not law ENFORCEMENT, who get to set the rules either. I think we can all agree that the guy deserved it, but the cops enforce the laws, not set them. That is congress’s job. The unfortunate thing about all of this, is it is going to cost the taxpayers more money all because they couldn’t show a little restraint on camera. Whoever represents this guy already has the evidence to get him off easy and get him some pocket money in a lawsuit. I think we can all agree that this shit head doesn’t deserve either of those.

        • BobnMic
          May 12, 2016 at 1:44 pm

Trump BP – The Cops were following the rules as outlined in a uniformed force continuum protocol that they didn’t just make up on the spot. That is how they are trained to deal with the challenges that modern day Law Enforcement presents. It is a set of standards that is brought up in court almost daily and has never been challenged by any Judge because the restraint standard makes all the sense in the world. Hector Pineiro is one of few defense attorneys that do in fact challenge the policies but he actually never wins. The city settles. Big difference and all because of money to settle versus more money to go to trial. Its bullshit I know.

And yes laws are the product of elected officials but I don’t see how any of that applies in this scenario. So to suggest that Law Enforcement in this case made up “rules” is a stretch and for the sake of argument in not a good argument. I know you did not actually say that but I will defend the, “it is not law ENFORCEMENT, who get to set the rules either” suggestion.

Look closely at the footage. Bad guy McGillacutty stopped the chase or maybe boxed in so he had no where to go. Compliance. He exited the pick up and dropped to his knees. Compliance. Now he attempts to change the rules. When ordered to lay down and put his arms and hands behind his back he does not. Non-compliance. Next step physically make him do so. He’s a good sized adult male. Cuffed, nobody got hurt fortunately and now hopefully he’ll be locked away for a very long time.

Again, I know it looks shitty. It always does but what do you want the Cops and Troopers to do? Rather than a command to fully surrender and fully comply say something like, “Ok – when you get a moment and if you don’t mind, we’d love it if you could just maybe put your arms and hands behind your back? No biggie, just take your time and while we wait, would you care for a coffee or something?” No no no and more no. I’m not busting your balls Trump BP. It’s only a respectful disagreement.

Again, I’m not saying he didn’t deserve. I’m just saying law enforcement has to be smarter then this when there is a news helicopter flying over their head. In the end it’s gonna come back and bite them in the but.

I have no problem with them beating the snot out of him. Also, thank god he was white. If he was black we would never fucking hear the end of this, and they’d be chaining themselves up across the highway again.

Looks to me like he was still resisting. This stuff isn’t marques de Queensbury rules, it’s a street fight and the cops get paid to win. That’s their sworn duty, period.
Unless you’ve ACTUALLY BEEN in a knock down drag out fight with somebody determined to win, your opinion is moot. 8 seconds of video doesn’t tell much of a story.
Getting control isn’t easy, let’s say for example he pulled a knife, gun, or grabbed a cops gun……just think about that for a while

So Turtleboy, you are saying that the cops were justified in doing this because of what the criminal did? REALLY? You, who fight for injustice, think that these cops can go apeshit because they had their reasons? Weren’t you ever taught two wrongs don’t make a right? HE had SURRENDERED. There was no longer a threat to people or property.

Police officers are NOT judge and jury, they can not just hand out punishments as they see fit. They are supposedly trained professionals, they damned well better act it.

Letting shit like this fly and defending them only makes things worse. Someday it may be you or your loved one on the receiving end of a cop beatdown, it is a dangerously slippery slope. When the criminal is on the ground surrendering – that is the END. Cuff the SOB. Don’t care that their adrenaline is pumping. Keep your hands, feet, batons, guns to yourself.

There are FAR TOO MANY rogue cops out there who fully believe that they are above the law. They need to be shut down hard. Police officers must be held to a higher standard and those that can’t achieve that standard must be removed from the job.

      May 12, 2016 at 6:34 pm

While I agree with some of your comments, the guy in question is a CAREER CRIMINAL who when the police come for him, always runs . He was involved in numerous high speed chases in just the last couple of days trying to avoid arrest he put children in danger he put cops in danger he caused property damage he hit another car while he fled, he could have killed people and the only thing you care about is how the cops acted, How long are we as a society going to coddle the criminals and vilify all cops.

And because their is no audio how do we know he was not smart mouthing the cops or threatening them, we don’t and until you are a police officer and have to deal with these animals every day you cant condemn them just because they are cops!

for the record both of my brothers have been beat by cops, and they both deserved it!

      • CharlesB
        May 13, 2016 at 10:22 am

Glad you think your brothers deserved to be beat up by the cops. You are the judge and jury for them? Bet they are glad you think that way. Unless they are actively and forcibly resisting arrest the officer has no business man-handling anyone, and even then they should not. They should protect themselves from injury and protect the public from hard in the least damaging fashion. The police are trained professionals, and are trained in how to dissuade a bad situation. Reducing themselves to that level diminishes their positions and that of all officers.

Regardless of career criminal or not, we have a court system the metes out the punishments, NOT THE POLICE. They have far too many that think they can do whatever they want whenever they want.

How many people have been arrested by police and charged with assault when they hit someone who pissed them off or they felt they other person put them in danger? This is exactly what happened at the scene. The police are no better than the people they arrest for the same thing. How can we trust the police if they are given a pass on taking pot shots at suspects.

As for being a career criminal – does that make it okay for the police to beat him up? NEVER. He was on the ground, surrendering. Mouthing off doesn’t win you any prizes, but certainly doesn’t get you a beat down either.

Yes they deal with animals every day. And everyday they make that choice to go to their professional jobs. Everyday they must not become one of the animals they deal with. Police MUST be held to a higher standard, they MUST be the example of the behavior they want the rest of society to adhere to.

Turtleboy you nailed it. Once again and thank you for that. When I first saw this story I was watching David Wade and Lisa Hughes on WBZ before the Sox game then holy shit. Lisa (my former other girlfriend with Worcester ties) minimizes the story about the chase which started in the Peoples Republic of Holden then ending some 40 miles north up in fucking New Hampshire. Totally minimized it. She goes on to report State Troopers and local Police from Nashua beat the “suspect” as he was complying.

Complying? Really? This fucknut does not get to make up the rules as he goes on his crazed journey then at the end say, “OK – I’m good now – I give up- Nothing to see here, nothing to see – I’ll behave now.” No no no and more no. And if you watch the footage closely the Cops did struggle to get his arms and hands behind his back to be cuffed. These Cops and Troopers followed a uniformed force continuum protocol which starts off with verbalization, physical restraint, use of cap stun, expandable baton, taser, and up to the use of a issued firearm when someone is not “complying.”

Lisa and David shame on you. I thought were way better than that. No more WBZ for me. Onto to Fox with my new girlfriend Maria Stephanos.

Did the guy deserve an assbeating? Yes. Was the assbeating the right thing for the cops to do? probably. Was the assbeating the smart thing to do? absolutely not. This “career criminal” just won the lottery of a nice juicy lawsuit and more then likely a shortened sentence.

What these cops have to realize is by doing this, they essentially just gave this guy a get out of jail free card. Now he will be back on the streets sooner, doing his “career criminal” type things. Just because he deserved it doesn’t mean its the smart thing to do.

I normally don’t post on here but I’m a regular reader of TBS. And I want to add my vote that TB has it wrong, this time. The cops messed up, here, and have made it possible for this POS to legally benefit from their actions. Other readers’ comments have said it all, so I’ll leave it at that….other than to offer my sincere sympathy to “That guy that knows a guy,” for having had such a troubled childhood.

  • That guy that knows a guy
    May 12, 2016 at 10:50 am

This guy has led police on 4 separate chases in the past week, all in separate jurisdictions in central ma. All of which were called off by the officers in pursuit for unsafe conditions. This guy and his vehicle have put everyone’s life on the line on numerous occasions without any regard for life or property. My dad used to beat me worse than that when I lied to them and didn’t take responsibility for my actions. Guess how many beat downs it took to learn my lesson… 1, how many times have I been suspended or in detention… more than I care to admit. Why because detention doesn’t leave knuckle imprints on your temple. He rammed cruisers and destroyed property that resulted in street closures so the property could be fixed. He’ll get a light sentence and the cops lively hood is what is on the line here. Any respectable human being LEO or not, if you get hit, you hit back. Sometimes a little street justice is what will make someone think twice before doing something stupid. I support LEO 100% and yes this was unprofessional, but I don’t disagree with how they handled it they should have just been more aware of their surroundings. If he doesn’t want to act civil, he shouldn’t be treated civil. And for someone to Monday Quarterback this and say that they would have gently placed the handcuffs on and wiped the dirt off his shirt… Eat a hearty bowl of dicks

  • Jake from State Farm
    May 12, 2016 at 10:22 am

Agree with other poster. The guy is a POS and I have no sympathy for him. I wish he died in a one car wreck with no loss of innocent life. But when the cops beat him with cameras around, it will only hurt the taxpayers who will foot the bill for this dirt bags lawyer & settlement. They should know better or choose a different line of work if they can’t refrain from the beating knowing there were cameras around. I couldn’t be a cop, so I do something else. And yes, it takes a special person to be a cop and not lose it with the jerks they deal with.

I’m all for “taking care” of the the shitbags!!! However, in this case, the guy was on all 4’s so it appeared as soon as he left the vehicle the threat was over. So, all these officers did was give the DA more ammunition to get this particular shitbags off with a lighter sentence and draw un wanted media attention to themselves. Instead of the car chase being the news now the police brutally is the news. BE SAFE AND BE SMART BROTHERS!!

I would not have been opposed to tazer and pepper spray in addition to the punches. But the probably should have saved the beat down until he was in the station and out of sight of cameras.

But the truest thing is being thankful he’s white. Because if that douceven was black, Old Man Gordy and the Sunshine Kid would already be out protesting the WPD. Probably by blocking and empty parking lot.

I agree, the media isn’t even concerned with the fact that this guy could care less if he killed someone in the process. I would give those policemen an Honor pin for catching him and giving him what he deserves. There is no need of this media to turn the problem onto the police officers who clearly were doing their job.

The part I have issue with us the cost to the taxpayer. This criminal is going to get a huge settlement from this. The officers that decided to go a little outside their job description are going to get a paid vacation while other officers get overtime to over their shifts. Millions of dollars could have been saved if they just put the cuffs on him without the extra violence.

As a white guy, it saddens me when other white people don’t recognize the obvious advantages they’re afforded because of their skin color. Perhaps incidents with blacks and the law too quickly turn into racial side-taking, but you can’t deny the obvious racial disparities that persist, even today.
