The Rachel Dolezal story gets better by the day. According to Buzzfeed she once refused to let a South American student participate in a class discussion on microaggressions and white privilege because she didn’t look Hispanic enough:

The student said that the incident occurred within the first three weeks of an introductory course on race and culture. Dolezal introduced an activity she called “Fishbowl,” in which one student sat in front of the class as others were invited to ask them questions about their racial and cultural experiences.

In the first round of Fishbowl, the student said Dolezal sought out a volunteer of Hispanic background to be questioned.

The student, who told BuzzFeed News that she identifies as Hispanic, grew up in a Spanish-speaking country, speaks the language fluently, and, while she has light skin, believes she has a “pretty solid experience of what it’s like to be Spanish.” She raised her hand to participate.

“I think we should ask another student,” the student recalled Dolezal saying in class.

The student asked why she could not participate.

“Rachel said I didn’t look Hispanic,” she said, and that her instructor “doubted that I could share experiences of racial or ethnic discrimination because I didn’t have the appearance of looking Hispanic.”

LOL. I freaking LOVE it. Can’t get enough of it. A lot of people from both sides of the aisle are fired up about this. But not Turtleboy. We’re all enjoying every single minute of this beautiful trainwreck. Why? Because she’s exposing everything that is wrong with PC America. She is the by-product of PC gone wrong.

First of all, the fact that she willingly tried to pass herself off as a leader of a race that is supposedly oppressed, would seem to debunk the notion that this particular race is oppressed. As a matter of fact, this opened up doors for her that wouldn’t have been available to her if she was just another white girl from Montana.

We’ve also talked about how bullshit the concept of “microaggressions” are. Basically it’s when someone asks you a question and they choose to be offended by it. For instance, Hampshire College had a display of harmful microaggressions that dumb white people say, trying to be nice, such as this one:

Because tons of white people go around awkwardly asking black folk to show them the “latest dance moves.” Sometimes I find myself asking Turtleboy token black blogger J-Dubs how to “Douggie.” Unfortunately he didn’t know how to either.

Here’s another one:

Yea, there’s no way possible that you’re the hottest Asian girl at the school. Way to get offended be offended though!! Ten protester points for you girlfriend!!

Then there’s this thick-skinned individual:

Yea, how dare someone ask about your nation of origin. You know who is the ultimate victim of microaggressions right?

And of course, let’s not forget the ULTIMATE microaggression:

Too bad Janice Harvey didn’t go to Hampshire College. She’d still be employed at North High next year if she did.

The fact that Rachel Dolezal was teaching a class on “microaggressions” is nothing but pure brilliance. It’s really the only card she could play right? Because she probably got asked the million dollar question a mllion times – “You’re black?” 

Oh yea, and I’m kind of surprised that none of the hippies under her watch pointed out the fact that she just pulled the ultimate microaggression by being surprised that a light skinned girl was hispanic.

She could do one of two things. 1) Come up with a bigger lie to explain her lie, or 2) Say she’s offended by this microaggression. Obviously she chose the one that immediately would end the conversation and make herself the victim.

Ultimately at the end of the day, Rachel Dolezar just blew up everything. And for that, I sincerely thank her.
