This is Missy Hollenback:
She is running for selectman in the lovely town of Shrewsbury:
And she has an idea for fixing what ails Shrewsbury:
No nips huh? I didn’t see any nips until I was 15. It was awful. We will never go back.
SJW’s doing SWJ things. It’s just so stupid. They’re not trying to ban alcohol, they’re trying to ban the object the alcohol is sold out of.
But seriously, this is everything that is wrong with social justice warriors. They love nothing more than to blame inanimate objects for society’s ills instead of the people who are the real cause of our problems. People don’t throw trash away? Ban plastic bags. Someone gets shot? Ban guns. Hurt feelings? Ban words. American citizen shoots up a gay nightclub? Ban Muslims…..oh wait, that’s the other side. But you get the point. Banning shit because people act like ratchets is no way for a society to operate.
Needless to say it didn’t go over too well with Shrewsbury residents:
Nevertheless she persisted:
Oh for fuck’s sake.
So we’re gonna ban a small plastic bottle because it’s forcing people to drive drunk? Because they can’t put their whiskey in a water bottle or a red solo cup? Ya know what else I saw on the road the other day? A used condom. Guess we should ban those too. And ban sex while we’re at it. Can’t have condoms on the side of the road.
Speaking of banning objects, Missy also led the crusade to ban plastic bags in Shrewsbury a couple years ago:
And it worked.
Her latest other crusade is to ban turf at Shrewsbury High School:
Shrewsbury still uses grass on their football field, which is very un-Shrewsbury like. Ya see SHS is a freaking palace. You feel like you’re walking into Versailles about to divide the world up with the other winners. But for some reason they have a grass playing field, when most modern schools are using turf now. The problem is that no organic surface can withstand the type of beating that soccer, field hockey, football, and other town activities would put on it. Some NFL teams still use grass, but that’s because they have billions of dollars to spend on operating costs and can afford to pay a team of experts to make sure it stays in tip-top condition.
In other words, just like plastic nip bottles, turf fields serve a practical purpose. Thus social justice warriors must ban them. Because without a cause to attach themselves to their lives would be boring and meaningless.
She also wants the Mass Pike to improve their dumping facilities, because apparently you can take a magical smash in Jersey but you can’t in Massachusetts:
She wants to get rid of the electoral college:
But just like most people who suddenly want to get rid of the electoral college, she never mentioned it in any of her rants before November 9, 2016. Gee whiz, wonder why?
She followed Mayor Joe Petty’s call to come to Worcester to protest for Worcester to become a sanctuary city:
Because just like 99% of the people who were there to protest, Missy does not live in Worcester. She lives in an affluent suburb that is NOT a sanctuary city. In other words, she wants Worcester to take one for the team and forgo millions in federal funding, while her town loses nothing, because it makes her feels go sky high!!
Oh, and of course she proudly rocks the pink pussy hats, because…..equality
LOL. Just kidding. Those hats had nothing to do with equality. Women are already equal to men. She just wanted to join 5 million other hagbags throwing a hissyfit because something they never thought possible ended up happening the day before.
Anyway, I’m kind of glad she’s taking this stance. It illustrates the ridiculousness of banning objects because people throw them on the ground. Lots of towns are banning plastic bags because they think they’re saving the environment. They’re not. They’re just making things more inconvenient for people and adding pointless regulation to already struggling small business. But then again, people like Missy don’t really care about anyone but themselves and making sure they feel like they’re making a difference. They’re not.
