Hello Turtle Riders. As you know if you follow Turtleboy we are constantly getting censored and banned by Facebook for what are clearly not violations of their terms of service. Twitter has done the same, and trolls mass reported our blog to Google AdSense thousands of times, leading to demonitization. We can get by and survive, but we could really use your help. Please consider donating by hitting the PayPal button above if you’d like support free speech and what we do in the face of Silicon Valley censorship. Or just buy our award winning book about the dangers of censorship and rise of Turtleboy:
I just want to take a moment to say thank you. On Friday Bristol TC published this spectacular blog on Rian Waters, who is suing me, the blog, and the woman he was arrested for assaulting. I haven’t said much about it since it’s an ongoing legal issue but I have no control over Bristol, and this is something she’s very passionate about. She’s seen the ridiculousness of the lawsuit against me, but it’s what he’s doing to Samantha Cardin that got her really fired up.
Frivolous and vengeful lawsuits that drain innocent people of financial resources, and are used as a mechanism to further hurt victims of domestic abuse, should not be allowed in a just legal system. Civil court should be a risk on the part of the plaintiff. If you lose a civil lawsuit you should have to pay all the legal fees of the person you sued, along with the court costs for wasting everyone’s time. Instead, someone like Rian Waters can file a lawsuit, not pay for a lawyer himself, and force us to pay for one, because he doesn’t like being exposed as a domestic abuser.
For that reason she asked that you guy donate to the Turtle Fund to help fight this evil homo sapien in court, and you responded. Big time. In the name of transparency we wanted to let you know that we raised $2,400 in 24 hours after that blog, and over 100 of you donated. That money will be going towards Kevin Chrisanthopoulos, my lawyer who I highly recommend from Westfield. Kevin has done an amazing job helping us with this matter thus far. A lot of lawyers like to run up the bill, charging you $300 an hour, including $150 for each email they send to you. Not Kevin though. He’s a genuine, honest lawyer, who I highly recommend if you ever need legal help in Western MA.
Many of you have also sent us contact information for advocates and other people who can help Samantha out. She has a hearing on Wednesday in Springfield at 2 PM, and I will be going there to support her. I want him to see may face so he fully understands that I am not in the least bit intimidated by him. I’m not a woman or a dog who he can beat.
Thank you again for supporting free speech, and helping us fight this evil. Without your support we would’ve been toast a long time ago.
