WEEI: A Swansea man hosted a jersey burning party Thursday night in protest of the Patriots players who took a knee during the national anthem before last Sunday’s game against the Texans. Mark Shane invited dozens of people to his home to burn the jerseys of those players to a soundtrack of patriotic songs. Shane says he was “shocked” that the Patriots protested because the team “always stayed above this kind of nonsense.”
“I think it was a great success,” Shane said of the event. “I think people were united, I think people love our country and I think it sends a great message to the NFL and any divisive type actions will not be tolerated during sports.”
He and others at the event said they believe kneeling during the anthem is disrespectful. The Swansea fire chief said the party was illegal because Shane did not have a burn permit. Shane said he will pay the fine.

There’s never been a bigger loser than this toolbag right here:
Once again, virtue signaling is a two way street. It’s not just for liberals anymore. These “look at me” narcissists come in all shapes, sizes, and creeds. This chudstuffer from Swansea is nothing more than an attention whore who thinks he loves America more than you. He doesn’t. He just loves attention more than you.
Seriously though, have you ever seen a bigger collection of losers assembled in one spot? The Patriots are the greatest franchise that has EVER existed. We are blessed by God to have this product in front of us every Sunday going on 17 years now. These people all claimed to be “fans.” But they’re not. Because real fans can get over what happened last Sunday, regardless of whether or not you agree with the protest. But of course we all know that they’ll be tuning in this Sunday and every Sunday because apple picking with your wife is a shitty way to spend any weekend in October.
Seriously. It was 17 players kneeling during a song and it’s not gonna happen again. The Patriots won the game in dramatic fashion and now we’re gonna win the Super Bowl. And you’re not gonna watch it because of what happened for 90 seconds in September? What a fucking loser you are.
Oh, and they’re all a bunch of hypocrites too. See if you can find any violations of the U.S. flag code in this picture:
- You can’t carry a flag in your pocket like that .
- You can’t wear American flag clothing.
But of course everyone does that stuff anyway, because at the end of the day it’s not your first born child. It’s a piece of fabric with a colorful design on it. There’s nothing more SJW than a flag Nazi. They are just as bad as the race baiters and the perpetually offended snowflakes. I once had a flag flying in my yard that got stuck in a tree branch. I didn’t do anything about it because it was the winter and I didn’t wanna climb through snowbanks to take it down. The flag ended up getting ripped a little, which I thought was badass since it was a flag with 13 stars and looks like it just survived Saratoga.
A couple days later I came home and found a note from one of these LOSERS about how I was disrespecting the flag and I needed to take it down. From that day on I vowed to declare war on these LOSER flag Nazis who have nothing better to do than to enforce rules that I’m not bound to follow by law.
According to the rules this should be banned too:
If you wanna ban that, you’re a terrorist. End of story.
Or maybe this is your persuasion:
Nothing says, “I love America” more than an American flag soaking in your grundle juices.
Of course the ironic part here is that the majority of people at this shirt burning, whining about how they’re offended on behalf of veterans, likely voted for Donald Trump. The same guy who said this about a veteran and a war hero:
How stupid do you have to be not to understand just how much of a hypocrite that makes you? I voted for Donald Trump, but I’m smart enough to know that what he’s doing right now is pandering to the dumbest of his supporters. I deal with it because it’s entertaining and at the end of the day it doesn’t really matter. Plus he’s pissing off a lot of people I hate, so I call it a wash.
Anyway, this shirt burning was another example of what makes America great. Idiots like this can congregate together and say dumb things because…..freedom. And I wouldn’t want it any other way. They also have the right to not purchase tickets, gear, or tune into the games (they’re all going to anyway). And if enough of them do it the NFL will be forced to stop the protests, as they probably should’ve a while ago. Not because the players who are doing it hate America, but because it’s bad for business. You can’t have your employees antagonizing the people who pay their salaries. That’s an unsustainable business model. When I go to McDonald’s I don’t want Grimace lecturing me about partial birth abortion. When I go to Patriots games I don’t need a bunch of millionaires lecturing me about police brutality and racism.
My biggest problem with the protesting isn’t that it was disrespectful to veterans, but because it was disrespectful to cops. This entire thing began as an anti-police movement. The NFL owners BRILLIANTLY turned it into bullshit about unity, and now it’s completely lost its meaning. But at its core that’s what Kaepernick was all about – hating cops. And the NFL never, ever, ever should’ve let him do what he did in the first place, because a majority of fans support the police. Owners can tell their employees what they can and can’t do at all times. They let it get to this point, and eventually they’re gonna have to put an end to it or their grandkids are gonna have one less yacht to play with on the weekends.
