Terrible news out of Yarmouth today:

SourceA police officer on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, was shot in the head and killed Thursday while serving a warrant, and a suspect was in custody, local media reported. A Boston 25 reporter, citing a Yarmouth Police source, said the K-9 officer “died after being shot in the head” in Barnstable and the officer’s family had been notified.

Massachusetts State Police identified the deceased as Officer Sean Gannon in a tweet Thursday night and offered their condolences to the Yarmouth Police Department. With a heavy heart, our condolences go out tonight to our brothers & sisters of the @yarmouthpolice & to Officer Sean Gannon’s family and friends,” the tweet said. “We are also praying tonight for the recovery of Officer Gannon’s K9 partner, who was also injured in today’s tragic incident.”

Our condolences to the Yarmouth Police Department and the family of Sean Gannon. The Yarmouth PD are one of the best in the state. They are extremely proactive on social media (particularly Facebook) and connect with citizens in a professional and polite manner at all times. Their “Warrant Wednesdays” have directly led to the arrests of countless individuals, as has their mugshots that they always post. Like this guy who was upskirting women last summer and was caught shortly after they posted about it. They are the poster child for responsible policing. This tragedy could not have happened to a better group of men and women.

The killer’s name is Thomas Latanowich. And just like Ron Tarentino’s killer, he’s been arrested for a billion violent crimes in the past:

A Cape Cod career criminal with 111 charges on his record was arrested again Wednesday, charged with stabbing a man who was just released from prison, according to police. Thomas Latanowich, 28, of Yarmouth, was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon. Police said the victim suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries to his wrist.

Police said the victim had just been released from the state corrections center in Hyannis and was being driven home by his girlfriend. Latanowich tailed their vehicle and when they pulled up to a red light, he got of his vehicle, approached the victim’s vehicle, then stabbed the man, police said. Latanowich was tracked down to the Swan Pond Village area and arrested, police said, adding an officer found the knife in the stabbing in Latanowich’s possession. He was held in custody pending an arraignment Thursday.

Authorities said Latanowich is well-known to Cape Cod law enforcement. Yarmouth police Lt. Steven Xiarhos called him a “notorious and violent criminal.” At the time of his Latanowich’s Wednesday, he was out on bail with multiple cases pending, Xiarhos said.

I’m so angry right now. I’m so fucking sick of this shit. It’s Ronald Tarrentino and Jorge Zambrano all over again. I’m so sick of judges letting these VIOLENT repeat offenders wander our streets in the naive and foolish assumption that they have redeemable qualities and will miraculously turn their lives around. I’m so sick of politicians whining about TOO MANY people being incarcerated in this country. We don’t incarcerate nearly enough of these savages.

These people are animals. They belong in cages. When you get the opportunity to lock one up (for instance, a guy out on bail with 111 priors who just stabbed a guy and is well known to police) you push for the MAXIMUM. Any judge who lets these assholes off the hook should be legally responsible for the carnage they cause afterwards.

We are going to learn more about this in the coming days. We will find out EVERYTHING. We will find out the name of every single judge who directly endangered the public by allowing this ANIMAL walk amongst us. Officer Gannon’s blood is on their hands. Thomas Latanowich is an animal. This is the only type of behavior he knows. But we pay judges to excercise JUDGEMENT. What kind of INSANE judgement would let someone like this out on the streets? What was the rationale? Jail wasn’t working for him like Zambrano? He stabbed a guy barely over a year ago in a premeditated attack in public!!

If you have any information on court cases, previous arrests, and names of parties involved in making sure Thomas Latanowich remained a free man, please email us at turtleboysports@gmail.com

Oh.. And if you haven’t heard… The Governor is about to sign a new “crime reform Bill” that the ACLU loves and says it’s a long time coming. Totally weakens the police, drug laws, jail terms and the ability to prosecute criminals. Google it and see what a crime Bill means to these liberal lunatics in Massachusetts.

OK, I’ve only just begun. I’ve had a few, uninterrupted moments to do a TINY bit of research.

Names associated with Thomas Latanowich include, but most certainly are not limited to……
Jodi Belinda Dunn-Daugherty (there’s the inevitable hyphenated name), Daniel T. Latanowich………in the interest of saving time…..the following ALL have the last name ‘Latanowich’ unless otherwise specified. Francis M., Helen E., Jessica Lee, Lawrence, Lawrence C., Megan Lee, Melissa A. Next are Jennifer L. Latanowich-Villeda, Andre Roland Latessa Lawrence, John Lauzon, Robert Carl Lavigne, John David Lawson, John F. Lazorivich Jr., Robert Leaver Jr., William George Leclair, Edward Gilbert, Lee Paul Richard, Lee Vincent Burke, Lee H. Rudolph H. Lefebvre, Gerald Roger Leger and Emile Joseph Legere.
Not sure if this will help, but this is what I found. The length of the names alone tells me one thing……..similar folks to those who are celebrating, in despicable fasion, the death of officer Gannon.
Hope this helps……………..I’m not even started yet.

All right, people, listen up: STOP VOTING FOR DEMOCRATS. Just stop it.
Because no matter how “reasonable”, how concerned, how nice your local Democrat hacks sound, in the end they all vote the same. Like sheep, they all get behind approval of these dirtbag judges who keep giving career criminals “just one more chance”.
(Which, as we all know, translates to: “I’m giving you one more chance to assassinate a member of law enforcement”.)

I have come to realize there is an evil in this world which manifests itself in dirtbags like this cop killer. He is basically a mad dog and should have been put down by the other officers there. Unfortunately the police played fair. I for one would’ve liked to have seen him double tapped him in the forehead to save everyone from having to endure seeing his worthless ass paraded through numerous courtrooms and having to endure the inevitable lies which his court appointed mouthpiece asshole lawyer will surely avow, only to be plastered on every news station for the next countless number of years. And lets not forget the bleeding heart judges who were only appointed because they gave big campaign donations to their favorite liberal politicians, along with any idiot juries who may have found this turd not guilty because of defense attorneys playing on their sympathies. RIP officer Gannon, the world is now a less safe place because of your loss.

Turtleboy can perform a huge public service here, just as he did in basically single-handedly dismantling the State Police command structure. The regular ‘news’ outfits are too timid to do this work, without someone like Turtleboy lighting a fire under their ass by stirring up public sentiment first.
Those of us who are good researchers can help, and with the weekend weather forecast having gone from great to crap, I aim to do a little digging myself: We need to sift through this shitbag’s entire history in the judicial system, and cross-reference lenient decisions by judges against other shitty decisions those same judges have made to paint a picture of systematic piss-poor judgement by so-called judges. We also need to dig for dirt in those judges’ personal lives. Fuck ’em.
Then we need to absolutely fucking HAMMER:
    1) those judges
    2) our state reps and senators
    3) the governor

This needs to stop. Every other day I see on Masslive or somewhere some child molester who was set free after a very light sentence, only to rape an 11-year old girl. That can ruin a human being’s LIFE. We can’t put up with incompetence and idealist bullshit in our judiciary any longer.

100% agree. These judges need to be held accountable for their “errors in judgment”. They need to be called out on their failure to properly execute the job(s) for which they were appointed.
Leniency, tolerance, slaps on the wrists, 2nd, 3rd, 112th chances……….it is an absolute disgrace. Disgusting. Their judgements have directly created victims, rather than protecting the innocent. They are more concerned with the “rights” of these violent drecksacks, than those of the law abiding citizens. Their piss-poor decisions should come with a penalties, (possibly including charges of complicity).
I, like you, am SO sick of seeing worthless criminal scum, who contribute absolutely nothing to decent society, allowed to perpetrate these heinous crimes over and over and OVER again. It sickens my heart and makes my blood boil. And, yeah, M/L has an audience to whom they pander, and a definite agenda. Fuck them. If I posted something derogatory about a judge responsible for this piece of detritus’ continued freedom……POOF! I guarantee you it would disappear….especially coming from panzer. No doubt. Absolutely no question.
So, yeah, let’s do some digging. I am stuck inside for the next several days caring for an infirmed relative. (don’t mean to sound like I would rather do anything else-love my family-maybe “stuck” isn’t the right word).
Other than a little play-off hockey, (GO BRUINS), I was wondering what I would do to keep from becoming stir-crazy. Now I have a mission. If I can help make any difference at all, I intend to do just that. Perhaps officer Gannon’s murder will bring about change. Perhaps this could be the beginning of the end. This bullshit needs to end yesterday.
Thanks for the suggestion, Sloppy, it was a great one.
      Enjoy your weekend,
      Panzer

It scares me to death that these poor police officers are getting killed by POS that should be in jail. I hope this POS finally gets put away and the next time he is allowed to leave the jail is when some funeral home comes and picks him up.

That they couldn’t close the deal on getting more convictions of even this dirtbag is a major part of the problem.

When the on site reporters said they did not med flight him so it seems that time is of the essence. Then they said “gravely injured”. I would like to know the names of the people that allowed this savage that murdered this officer. I have spoken to so many cops who say, we can do our job but it’s the court system that lets them go. I need to hire an attorney, dish out thousands of dollars, miss work to attend 3 separate court dates in order to be found not responsible for an erroneous speeding ticket, but a violent career criminal can get arrested 111 times on an array of different charges and gets off with more or less a slap on the wrist

The people who believe our justice system is fair are naive. It is the furthest thing from fair because we prosecute those who are innocent, and free those who are guilty

  • KC
    April 13, 2018 at 3:14 am

So his 5th or 6th violent crime wasn’t enough to get this POS put away forever?
And when he appeared for say, his 10th or 20th violent crime, the judge thought, “Well, he can still be redeemed.”
And at say, his 30th or 40th violent crime they still didn’t figure out that this guy was NEVER going to play nice with the rest of us?
And when he got to his 75th or 85th violent crime did they think “Well maybe this time will be the charm that will make him see the light?”
This is so beyond any rational thinking that one simply has to suspect some sort of corruption going on.
And now a fine young man of 32, loved by all and married with a wife at home will never return there himself to laugh, live and love his soulmate because some fucking mindless, asshole judge with nothing but feces between his ears had not the testicular fortitude to bang his gavel and say, “This shit stops here, today!”.
Laws need to be changed, heads need to roll (both figuratively and literally in the case of the perpetrator).
This simply did NOT Have to happen and never should have.
And one more thought here…….if this POS criminal had 111 or so arrests for violent crimes then how many violent crimes did he actually commit?
Unless he was the most unlucky criminal bastard ever he did not get arrested every time he did his evil acts. I think we can assume this bastard committed many hundreds, if not thousands of crimes.
And now a young man lies dead.
And we’ll all mourn and light candles and offer prayers while our “betters”, you know, those much more sophisticated and enlightened than we knuckle-dragging troglodytes, will do nothing to change a system so corrupt and unredeemable that it deserves to be swept away and replaced by something staffed by people who will put an end to this bullshit.

Progress or progressive Liz ???? The Jacobin’s who guillotined anyone who didn’t agree with their “progressiveness”. The communists of Russia who killed anyone that rejected or questioned their “progressiveness”. The democrats or “progressives” if you like, and i’m sure you like, who have appointed the vast majority of judges in MA are freeing these violent criminals for a reason. In the progressive mind the criminal is the oppressed. Also, the progressive state allows them to roam so as to sow terror and fear onto the masses which helps to keep them in power !! This is nothing new…the progs, like yourself vote them in !! When YOU become the victim you will look to blame everyone and anyone but yourself. You are to blame for this man’s murder.

The time to enact change is now. It’s really too late and a long time coming. This tragedy could have been averted if the liberal judges in this state did what they were actually sworn to do. “I, “said judge”, do solemnly swear that I will administer justice without respect to persons, and do equal right to the poor and to the rich, and that I will faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all the duties incumbant upon me under the Constitution and laws of the United States. So help me God.”
It’s been very apparent that the judges in this state do not follow this oath…in line with the wave happening across the United States. Get back to basics judges. Leave your liberal stances at the door and judge impartially. It’s what you’re paid to do.

Now we get to pay for his incarceration for the next 60 years. Need to bring Death Penalty to Mass, especially for cop killers (thought ther eis one, but I guess it has to be fed or extenuating.) This clown will say daddy was dicking him in childhood and the soft judges will feel sorry for him. Saddest thing I heard all week, this officer should be laying with his wife or chick tonight.

At some point — a point that is way south of 112 criminal charges in a decade — it should’ve become apparent that there would be no rehabilitation, no turning his life around, no becoming a productive member of society. It should have been obvious to everyone that this piece of garbage didn’t belong in society.

It was. In fact, Democrats want these animals out among us so that the stupider types will beg them to ban guns and only let a totalitarian government have them to “protect” us.

        Keep voting D though!

The United States has such a high incarceration rate because, generally, we enforce our fucking laws and serve justice to those who break them.
But all to often, especially in the liberal parts of this country, we don’t. And we get a young officer with his entire life ahead of him who was just doing his job, who won’t be bringing his mom flowers this Mother’s Day.
I hope someone slashes the tires on the judge’s Prius.

This assholes face has been plastered all over the Cape news for quite some time. His ass should have been rotting in jail a long time ago but for the liberal injustice in this state. These criminals get a $40 dollar bail and a slap on the wrist. It’s been a running joke here for some time, but it’s no joke. This Officer would be alive if the judicial system, these liberal judges, actually did what they were supposed to do. It’s a tragedy that demands changes in how these criminals are handled.

Dont worry! Mass leads the way in criminal justice reform! Less prison more supervised release! No mando time! Death penalty?! HA! What a GD joke this state is. You’ll see all the political big wigs there in the front row like they give a shit about another dead cop on their watch.

      RIP OFC Gannon & Nero
      The system failed you both.

    Outrageous. This is unacceptable.

It’s time to contact our senators and representatives to make a FEDERAL law (not another state law) that creates a federal charge for murdering a police officer. Because it would be a FEDERAL law, these cop killers can get the death sentence they deserve regardless of whether the state allows it or not.

    RIP Officer Gannon
