A whole bunch of kids at Turners Falls High School today walked out because a bunch of SJW politically correct losers from Greenfield pressured the Gill-Montague School Committee to vote 6-3 to get rid of their Indians mascot because it offended them as white people:

Good for them. That’s actually something worth protesting. Because the people who wanted this done, aren’t even from Turners Falls:
Rhonda Anderson, a supporter of change who attended the high school and lives in Colrain, said she was overwhelming happy about the vote, and said the superintendent’s words showed that the School Committee had listened.
“I’m really encouraged that this community can come together and heal,” she said.
Colrain!!! Why would anyone EVER listen to ANYONE from COLRAIN??!!! If she lives in Colrain then it means her kids go to Mohawk Regional, which also is named after Indians. Then there’s the fact that the guy Turners Falls is named after massacred a whole bunch of Indians too. So they’ll keep calling it Turners Falls, but they draw the line at Indians. This is how social justice warriors save the world.
Check out the idiot superintendent Michael Sullivan:
“As the district’s educational leader I believe we need to help our students understand that there is harm in the status quo. On average, each year, three of our students are Native American and these students deserve and are afforded the same civil rights protections enjoyed by all students.”
No there’s not. Not a single person has ever been harmed by a high school mascot.
“Indians are not like cowboys or Vikings. They are cultures of real people, our neighbors, and it is inappropriate to treat them or any racial, ethnic, religious or gender group in ways that perpetuate and legitimize stereotypes.”
Wait…..what? Did he really just say that Cowboys and Vikings aren’t “cultures of real people?” This can’t be happening. Like, no one can possibly be this dumb and climb this far. Newslfash dipshit McGee – Vikings are real people too. They’re from Scandinavia. And Cowboys are a culture of southwestern Americans who were heavily influenced by Mexican culture. I don’t see any Mexicans whining about changing the name of the Dallas Cowboys. I also don’t see any Indians whining about the Indian mascot. It’s mostly just white people like you.
“In my opinion there is no way to retain the name ‘Indians’ that would not continue to present a civil rights problem, a pedagogical mixed message and a misalignment with our mission and core values.”’
A civil rights problem?? Well then, riddle me this. How come Grafton, Bartlett, Billerica, Dartmouth, Hanover, and Ware can continue to be called the Indians if it’s a “civil rights problem?” Are they all violating the civil rights act? Because there’s actually a shit ton of schools in this state that use some sort of Indian as their mascot.
And we’ve documented this all before – it’s all white people. All of them. These are the people who started this whole thing:
They literally just moved to Turners from Greenfield:
Studies have shown that the vast, vast majority of Indians do not give a shit about Indian mascots. It’s just dumb white people trying to prove that they’re one of the good ones. Instead of moving to a community with actual diversity, they do this and pat themselves on the back. Because people like Mark and Francia Wisnewski are afraid of black and brown people. Petrified actually. It’s why they live in all white communities and lecture other white people about something they read on the Huffington Post. They should be publicly shamed and mocked as such.
“How would you feel if the mascot was you?” asked a woman attendant of Nipmuc heritage, Jasmine Rochelle Godspeed, setting the tone of the meeting to follow, which roughly 70 people attended, according to The Greenfield Recorder. “
How would I feel if the mascot was me? Well, I’m of Irish heritage. And guess what? This:
Is OK with me. I’m over it. Plus, I got news for you Jasmine Rochelle Godspeed – YOU ARE A WHITE CHICK!!!
You can call yourself “Nipmuc” if you want. But at the end of the day you’re just a white chick. Everyone can clearly see that. Plus, you’re form Boston.
The fact that a white chick from Boston gets to say she’s Native American in order to push her agenda on people who want nothing to do with her is pretty disgusting. It also sounds oddly familiar.
Here’s some more brilliant snowflake commentary from white people:
This is Angela Roll:
Then there’s this:
What’s really wrong with this is the fact that these grown adults are bullying children. You saw those kids marching. They want to be called the Indians and a bunch of assholes from Greenfield, Boston, and Colrain are taking that away from them. They could’ve picked on ANY of those school districts who already use an Indian mascot. But they chose the one in the middle of nowhere with the smallest population. And now they’re rubbing it in these kid’s faces:
Nice going assholes. Hope you feel like you accomplished something. But at the end of the day the only people you affected are a bunch of high school kids. Which makes you gigantic pieces of human garbage.
So yea, props to you kids for walking out of school. Social justice warriors LOVE to protest. It’s all they do. Bout time someone stood up to them. You guys are now, and always will be the Indians. Whatever name they come up with, don’t say it. Don’t use it. Don’t stop doing the tomahawk chop at games either. Just keep rubbing it in their faces that this is America and you will not be subjugated by interlopers and carpetbaggers trying to force their misguided agenda on you.
