Water Wizz Fake Kidnapping Liar Matt McGonnigal Was Arrested For Wiretapping And False Report Of A Crime By Wareham PD For Secretly Recording Them

A couple days ago we played the tape of a secretly recorded conversation between Matthew McGonnigal, who made up a story about saving a small child from abduction at the Water Wizz park, and the Wareham Police Department. His spot got blown up by his own girlfriend after she posted on Facebook about the tall tale she told him:

After Water Wizz called him out on it, the Wareham PD also confirmed that no such incident was reported to them.

Which is weird, because usually child abduction attempts are reported to the cops. Kind of a big deal.

Hi Mom tried to defend his honor on our Facebook page, but failed miserably:

A normal person would’ve just taken their ball and gone home after embarrassing not only themselves, but their girlfriend, after being exposed as a liar and a fraud in front of hundreds of thousands of thirsty turtle riders. Not Matty McG though. He satisfied our hunger for a daily dooshnozzle to laugh at by going to the Wareham PD and secretly recording this conversation, in which he repeatedly asks them for a report on an incident he never reported:

The problem of course is that what he did was illegal. You can record someone in Massachusetts, so long as both parties know that the recording is taking place. It’s illegal to secretly record someone if the other person is unaware that they are being recorded.

Well right after we published the blog our sources told us that the Wareham PD issued a warrant for Matthew McGonnigal for witness intimidation, false report of a crime, and wiretapping. Then this morning our sources reported that Matty McG was arrested last night (July 27) in Weymouth, and he is in court this morning being arraigned for making up the story and recording the cops.

My question is, why did he do this if he knows there was no police report? And the answer is simple – he was in deep trouble with the girlfriend. If I pulled a stunt like this with Mrs. Turtleboy I would be in the doghouse for eternity. Dude made her look like a fool. She defended him endlessly. Finally she must’ve realized that he was lying to her, so she deactivated Facebook and informed him that he will not be receiving any push-push for a long, long time. This was a last ditch attempt for push-push.

So the lesson here is simple – when you get Turtleboyed, your best bet is always to keep a low profile. Whatever you do, do NOT message us with tall tales of Internet lawsuits. Do NOT tell us that you’re calling the cops on us. And when the people you are wrongly accusing of covering up a crime are the police, do NOT secretly record a conversation at the police department in a vain attempt to make them look bad. Because it will only guarantee that you will live on in the Turtleboy spotlight for longer.

I just read WCVB article about this and they said that it was Mcgonnigal’s own kid that he saved from “abduction” and that he recorded tapes if a phone call he had with Police. Do they do ANY fucking investigating at all before they hit SUBMIT wtf

        1. Massman

He went to the PD in person. All complaints are investigated. It’s obvious you failed reading comprehension!

          1. Muphry's Law

Tig Ole Bitties is disputing the WCVB story. If you’re going to question someones reading comprehension make sure you comprehend what you are reading first!

This sort of dumbassery is to be expected from generation snowflake. These dopes have been coddled and brainwashed since birth that their feelings and wants are more important than anything else. This sense of entitlement and utter lack of self-awareness runs so deep to their cores that this nitwit actually believed that somehow, magically – that the PD would have a report (or make one up) for something that never actually happened.

It’s exactly the same type of delusional behavior that the Left has with this manufactured Russian collusion BS. The liberal media is nothing but a Russian disinformation outlet. They actually believe if they lie and make up enough stories that somehow it will become true and they can all feel better about their wanting to overthrow a democratically elected President (ie – treason).

This is what the world has come to. The Russians have already won – only it’s the Dems and libs that have been doing their bidding for decades now. The lemmings don’t even realize their roles are to be useful idiots – and will live in denial until their last breath.

There was a young man named Matthew McGonnigal, Everyone is lying, except McGonnigal. Tries to frame police for not playing along-I-gol. Cops lock him up for not acting log-i-cal. Poor ol Matthew McGonnigal, Bigonnigal.

I’m still trying to understand why he did this. Didn’t his gf think it was strange that not one police officer showed up at the park? If that really happened the place would be crawling with them.

My guess is he wasn’t expecting her to post about it to Facebook. Probably figured it was a good way to score a hot session later that night, but it blew up (pardon the pun) when she posted to FB about it and he got called out about it. At that point it was all downhill.

Instead, he should have cum clean when he first got called out about it… “yeah, i tripped and fell on my face like a complete retard scraping up my knuckles on the asphalt and i felt like a complete dipshit so i made the story up to try and save face… sorry”

Soooo Taylor, any plans for this evening?

This story just keeps getting better.

Unfortunately, charging him with wiretapping is a poor choice. In the “Glik” case ruling of 2011, the US First Circuit Court of Appeals ruled:

“…a citizen’s right to film government officials, including law enforcement officers, in the discharge of their duties in a public space is a basic, vital and well-established liberty safeguarded by the First Amendment.”

They say “film,” but Glik was recording audio, that’s covered as well. Anyways, Glik had his charges dropped, and Boston PD had to pay him $170,000.

I hope there is new case law I’m unaware of, and that the Wareham PD isn’t opening up themselves to any possible legal douchebaggery by the wannabe-hero.

      1. Amazingly Randy

Well Glik was near the commons (I believe from memory), filming bpd arresting someone else with a cell in the open. Depends on the court, or specifically the judge, (I work at a court where this probably wouldn’t fly), but I heard recently of some PD charging wiretap on someone who secretly recorded a traffic stop, like hid the phone not making it obvious, and the guy was charged and convicted. With Glik, you don’t have to announce your recording in public, but you can’t conceal the fact your recording.

        1. Stunt Pennie

Only in massachusetts would the felons on bacon hill pass a law which makes it illegal for investigative reporters to do their jobs.

      2. Massman

Filming them is one thing but audio recording them without permission is another. Learn your shit internet lawyer before opening your cock holster!

      3. Baril

It is illegal to secretly audiotape in Massachusetts., Glik was not done” secretly” the cell phone camera was visible. In this case it appears as if the recording device was hidden. Clearly a wiretap violation. There is a court case where a motorist secretly audio recorded the officer who stopped him. He later went to file a complaint against the officer, played the recording and was arrested. The arrest was upheld as lawful. Comm v Hyde.

Be sure to let us know when Taylor’s “free my boi” GoFundMe page comes up, so he can make bail…

    12. ChrisInShrewsbury

If you haven’t listened to the audio, you must! It’s awesome.

I honestly really love the Wareham PD. It was actually refreshing the way the officer escalated his commands through the end. Most of the time cops are forced to jerk people off. Not this cop, he’s like (paraphrasing) “You’re a liar, and you have issues with your girlfriend”. “Don’t come back”. Love it.

Not only is McGonnigal an idiot for recording privately (I believe he could have simply entered the building with the phone/camera exposed and been fine). But somehow this Audio Gold ends up on the internet (as if it’s indicative of anything)

      Wareham PD ++ Nice job.

Man, I would love to tongue-punch Taylor’s naive little fart box!

      🙂 🙂 🙂

The lengths some people will go to in order to keep a lie going. This douche was probably fucking his side piece in the parking lot and is now desperate to cover it up.
