19-Year-Old Maine Girl Gets Wasted At 11am On a Tuesday – Steals Beer Truck, Leads Police On A High-Speed Chase Before Crashing Into And Destroying A Barn

Every once in a while I momentarily forget how fucked up Maine is. Luckily, there are beautiful stories like this one to remind me that some of the craziest people in the world are only an hour north of the state border. Exhibit A, a teenage girl that is some combination of cute, insane, ballsy, dangerous, careless, and in need of rehab. Let me introduce the pride of Southern Maine Community College and my future wife, 19-year-old Nicole Dyment.

WGME – The York County Sheriff’s Office said an intoxicated 19-year-old woman stole an Angry Orchard truck in Portland and crashed it into a barn on Route 160 in Limerick Tuesday.

Around 11:30 a.m., the York County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a large white “box truck” being driven erratically on Route 5 in Waterboro.

The truck was described as a “beer truck” and advertised Angry Orchard on the sides and back. The caller said the truck was weaving from side-to-side and had gone into the shoulder of the road.

Deputies intercepted the vehicle near Lakeside Market in East Waterboro. Officials said the truck was passing several cars in a no pass zone.

As deputies initiated a stop on the truck, they were notified that the truck had been stolen from Portland.

Portland police say the truck had been stolen from the 7-Eleven on Congress Street.

Deputies said the vehicle did not stop. They continued their pursuit of the truck north on Route 5 into Limerick Village and onto Route 160, also known as Parsonsfield Road. Speeds reached 65 MPH, according to authorities.

Deputies said it appears the driver lost control and crashed into a barn at 245 Parsonsfield Road. The impact threatened the integrity of the barn.

Deputies said 19-year-old Nicole Dyment of Canton was the only person in the truck. She was transported to Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford with possible head injuries.

Authorities plan to charge Dyment with OUI, driving to endanger, failure to stop for a police officer, and driving without a license.

Dyment may also be facing charges in Cumberland County.
