Hey fam – if you’d like to support Turtleboy and what we do here, feel free to hit the donate button at the top. We basically have to run this site like a Bernie Sanders campaign now since we’ve been blacklisted by Google and Facebook, due to the fact that rabid SJWs keep reporting our posts. Getting blacklisted by Google is a death sentence for most websites, since it’s much harder to monetize. And we all know the damage Facebook has done. We’re never going to stop fighting for free speech, but in the meantime the best way for turtle riders to fight back is to donate to the cause. Without you people none of this is possible. We love you all.

Yesterday world’s collided with the latest mass shooting at a newspaper in Annapolis, MD. I haven’t even had time to check social media yet, but I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that before the bodies were even cold the following were blamed:

  1. Lack of gun control
  2. AR-15 (if he used AR-15, if not refer back to #1)
  3. Trump for turning people against the media
  4. White supremacy (if the shooter is white and anyone non-white dies)
  5. Terrorism (if the shooter is Muslim)
  6. Illegal immigration (if the shooter is Hispanic)
  7. NOT the shooter himself

For the record, no one should EVER be responsible if someone else reads something they wrote and commits a crime after doing so. We fundamentally reject the premise that a person can make another person murder someone else. This goes both ways. When Steve Scalese was shot last year by a left wing radical Bernie bro, we did not blame Bernie Sanders. When cops are murdered across the country this is not Shaun King’s fault for spreading anti-police propaganda. When someone shoots up an abortion clinic this is not the fault of pro-life protesters. When someone shoots up a school this is not the fault of “bullies,” video games, or Marilyn Manson.

Nevertheless the media immediately assumed it was because some nutjob Trump acted on Trump’s advice and killed people in the “fake news” media.

But it was soon revealed that the shooter was not influenced by Milo, and had a personal beef with this newspaper going back to 2011 when he sued them for deformation after they printed courthouse records of his Google trophies.

Right on cue the media began doing exactly what they get mad at Trump for saying they do – spreading fake news. And one of the worst tweets came from local Masslive reporter and Twitter blue checkmark verified Conor Berry:

Obviously this was fake news, and he took the tweet down. But as a result he is now getting what’s known as “ratioed” on Twitter. This is when the ratio of comments to likes on a tweet is abnormally high. Normally a tweet gets way more likes than it does comments. For instance, this tweet from yesterday has 19 comments and 74 likes:

That’s a standard 4 to 1 ratio, because it’s easier to hit the like button than comment. But if you’re getting more comments than likes it’s because you tweeted something dumb, no one likes what you’re saying, and people are just ripping into you in the comments. Conor Berry is getting ratioed HARD:

1 to 51. Yikes!

We messaged Mr. Berry for comment and here is what he told us:

I mean, I can’t even be mad at this guy after reading that. He fully admits that it was wrong. He claims it was sarcasm, which if we’re being fair is how anyone who actually looked into it should’ve perceived that tweet. I certainly don’t think he should have 21 years on the job flushed down the toilet because of one dumb tweet, and I actually feel bad for him. Can we all just chill out for a second? Not everyone has to lose their job all the time because they did something dumb. What Kevin Cullen has done over the years by repeatedly lying in his stories is far worse than anything Conor Berry did. Suspend him for a week if you must, be firing him is overboard.

Nevertheless the MSM needs to figure out what their role is. If they are a distributor of sarcasm then they should be treated like The Onion. If they are a distributor of “real news” 24/7, then they can never use their official accounts to tweet anything but real news.

Just to show you how insane this has gotten, Milo (who is still a thing apparently) is being blamed for the shooting by white black lives matter leader Shaun “Martin Luther Cream” King. Milo was contacted last week by the Daily Beast and asked what he thought about Trump provoking violence against the media Milo sarcastically wrote back to the author:

“I can’t wait for the vigilante squads to start gunning journalists down on sight.”

Naturally the Daily Beast printed this as an authentic quote that he actually meant, when no rational person actually believes that what he said was anything except sarcasm. In fairness, the same could be said about Conor Berry’s tweet. I don’t think either was authentic, and I think people who are trying to make it seem authentic are intentionally doing so to give their base the message they want to hear.

But of course that’s not what Shaun King is all about, and it led Talcum X to take to his Facebook page and demand that Milo be censored and kicked out of the country:

This is the difference between Shaun King and Turtleboy. We are not partisan. We see a liberal and a conservative both say something dumb, and determine that both statements were not intended to be taken literally. We don’t blame the right or the left for this shooting, we blame the shooter. We report real news, Shaun King spins the news to fit his agenda.

The fact that this came from a guy who routinely uses his platform to spread blatant lies like this one is just too much irony for me to handle today.

The bottom line is that Shaun King is human garbage, Milo is a professional troll, the Daily Beast knew full well they were intentionally misreporting, and Conor Berry seems like a nice guy who shouldn’t lose his career because he said something dumb on Twitter. And the best way to avoid controversy like this is to just not use social media. I understand people like Conor have because of their line of work, but this should be a lesson to everyone else – the Internet is forever and it’s a very unforgiving place.

Living in the 413, I have read many articles Conor Berry has written. For the most part, he is usually middle of the road and engaging on social media.
Unfortunately, Conor allowed himself so be swept up into the current that the msm has created.
I believe this needs to be a learning experience for all journalists. Report the facts. Facts.
When outlets like CNN and MSNBC are running rogue as they are, and then wonder why people feel they can no longer believe the news, it is sad.
They have brought this on themselves.
For all his faults, no sitting President has ever been disrespected by the media more than Pres. Trump.
Newsrooms across the country need to pause and look at themselves.
What have they done to create this current insanity?
Report the facts. Leave the bias at the front door. Do your jobs. Report the news.
I hope this is a learning experience for Conor and others.

It’s kind of a shame be cause Connor was the one reporter at masslive that treated the commenters with respect and could engage in a conversation with them rather than talking down to commenters like every other person who works for the crappy organization. It’s a shame I enjoyed interacting with him; he was probably the second best journalist at that horrible outfit

Connor Berry is a liar and a fucking hack. Not only should he have been fired but he should never get a job in News again.

    Fuck that coon lover!

Cops carry a “throw down piece” in the form of a 38 cal snub nose.

Liberals carry a “throw down piece” in the form of a red MAGA baseball cap.

Jesus fucking Christ, if it was a rule here at Turtleboy that if you tweet or post something stupid, every single one of us would be out of a job. There would literally be no Turtleboy.T

How the MSM spins these tragedies is insane. A nut job shot up a newspaper that out him on blast. End of story. He was influenced by no one but himself. Personal responsibility and accountability it officially dead.

all could have been avoided with a simple “/sarc” at the end that’s been around before social media was a thing!

No sympathy. Blue check marked “journalists” get taken at face value and their tweets get treated as news releases.

Suck my big fat one Manchester Turtlette because your not a reporter you’re just an opinionated blogger. Your Blogs tend to suck anyways and nobody really gives a fuck about Manchester. What do you make from Turtleboy? Maybe a $25 gift card to the Black and White Grille sucka?

      Go suck a dick bitch,

Mr. Berry played himself. Game over pal. In this environment (that his confederates created) this should have been expected.

There wouldn’t be a Turtleboy Sports if there were not social media. Virtually every incriminating, embarrassing, and revolting act by ratchets and corruptocrats chronicled on this site is based on it.

I’m one of the last social media holdouts and glad of it. I don’t have to worry about losing my day job over telling the truth and tweaking some butthurt wretch publicly. (Hope Deirdre Hall doesn’t trace my Turtleboy comments).

Social media sucks the big D. Time for normal people to cancel.

At least he’s been reading Turtleboy ( as he saw my (and many others’) comments that a hate crime is more believable if you say a MAGA hat was involved.)

    Note to King:

Wayne Williams, John Allen Muhammad, Lee Boyd Malvo AKA (John Lee Malvo)

All black, all mass murderers, all taken alive.

And more recently Cleophis Cooksie in Arizona this year. A black serial killer taken alive. Al and Jessie are losing their race bating positions in society to Talcom X.

Mr. Berry got the results of his actions. His occupation (Reporter) makes making flippant statements publicly a problem because how are we supposed to know what is or isn’t a fact.
If Mr. Berry was hoping that there was a hat like that, that was probably not the hill to dies on.

A “I heard” or a “I saw a report…” would have made all the difference in the world. But, the lack of it taints him and whatever he reports in the future.

Now, if he was a columnist that would be slightly different. Those aren’t reporters. They give opinions that may or may not be based on facts.

Milo is Milo. You know what you are getting and are not disappointed when you get it. He controls no government agency, he just has opinions. Not any different than King. We are free to listen or not.

Is John Keller going to be on TV editorializing again? MLK’s death made his dad and friends cry while they were watching a ball game that wasn’t on TV.
