I just wanna go on record to say that I’m a big fan of Boston Mayor Marty Walsh. He seems like your average Joe Schmo liberal who cares about the people, but doesn’t get carried away with the hippie nonsense that geniuses like Joe Petty and Ed Augustus always fall for. Oh yea, and last week he came out and called shananigans on the Deflategate witch hunt. I like politicians who see through the bullshit and aren’t afraid to call out the fakers and the phonies. Marty Walsh is that kind of politician. Never has that been more apparent then the smackdown he laid on the hippies yesterday in the wake of a seven year old boy being shot by hood rats in Dorchester:

Residents in Dorchester are angered after a 7-year-old boy was shot Sunday afternoon while riding his bike in the neighborhood.

“I’m getting mad, I’m frustrated. Stop shooting little kids,” one neighbor said.

Police say 7-year-old Divan Silva, of Brockton, is recovering from surgery after being struck by a bullet in the buttocks. Silva was visiting his grandmother for Memorial Day weekend.

The incident occurred near a barber shop on Bowdoin Street. A shop employee was seen Monday morning washing away the bloody markings off the sidewalk.

Boston Mayor Marty Walsh reflected on the close call saying there’s not enough outrage against gun violence.

“We’re working hard every day to make sure we can bring down the violence,” Walsh said. “What’s sad is there’s no outrage or protest about a 7-year-old being shot.”

“There’s some protests around the country with police officers’ interaction with people, I think some of those protests, we need to start looking at our neighborhood and say, ‘what do we need to do to get the guns off our streets,’ Walsh said.

Yup. Couldn’t have said it better myself. Where are the protesters at now? Who was more innocent? A seven year old kid minding his business, or an 18 year old giant trying to take a gun from a police officer? You tell me hippies. Because it seems to me that this poor kid deserves your protests more than Michael Brown did.

At the end of the day this proves once again that everything the protesters stand for is bullshit. They don’t care about fixing communities like Dorchester or Baltimore. They only care about hashtags and trendy protests. And protesting for a seven year old kid who wasn’t shot by a cop just isn’t the cool thing to do right now.

The bottom line is that the number one problem plaguing communities like Ferguson, Baltimore, and Dorchester isn’t the police. It’s assholes with no regard for their fellow man. But instead of going after said assholes, the hippies have teamed up with them and turned against the people who are there to serve and protect the seven year old kids. Hippie logic is fascinating isn’t it?

P.S. Absolutely love this guy:

He was the same poor soul who tried to calmly explain to the savages in Roxbury that they needed to back off as the police investigated the crime scene where Officer John Moynihan was shot. Logically they started calling him racial slurs. But don’t forget, it’s the COPS fault that communities are plagued with violence.

The problems in our American society are many. Our ability to figure out what are the causes, effects and solutions are on the level of dunce and ignorant. So many pointing a finger at gun laws, and how outrageous to be pulling hippies, a peace and love movement, out on the carpet… and then why not ‘beatniks’… this is just ridiculous.
Firstly, many are trying to re-amend our already established amendment rights, specifically our second amendment ‘right to bear arms’, thinking this will solve all our violence problems. We should all be spending more energy and focus on limiting the flagrant use of our 1st amendment granting freedom of speech. Bottom line is arriving at the root of the problem and the root of it is the violence we promote through all media… movies, games, regularly watched TV… it would be a good start. It’s not the 2nd amendment that’s the catalyst, it’s the 1st amendment.
Secondly, how will be ever eliminate drugs in our society when it’s already become such a huge industry. Imagine that if we could actually eradicate illegal drugs that we would also lose so many jobs in the drug rehab industry and law enforcement. Is anybody putting together what a conflict of interest is going on here on so many levels and, without a doubt, the highest political levels.
Such a shame that ‘Pandora’s Box’ scenario is at hand again and there seems no way to reversing the processes plaguing our society and our world. So much more so say, so much clarity needed. Hippies? Again, how damn ridiculous. How about a true and honest and effective movement amongst our politicians and “WE THE PEOPLE”.

Imagine that. No businesses burned, no acrs set on fire, no protests blocking the highways, no crying at City Hall, no calling cops racist slurs…. I guess #BlackLiveMatter only when taken by a white man. If its taken by a fellow black, its ok. No racism here!

TurtleBoy can you please do something about the way your website is formatted? I generally read your site on my phone and the ads are mixed in with the articles and often times come right before or after a picture related to the article. Half the time I think the businesses are supporting whoever you’re railing against (hippies) and my first thought is fuck them I’m not going there.

I’m tired of trend following altogether. Maybe it’s because I remember no Internet and I’m old now or something but why can’t people think for themselves? Why can’t people sort out right from wrong and go with it. Why do they need approval from people on Facebook to think some way? There is no right or wrong anymore in the brainless hippie world. There is only “gets me attention” and “doesn’t get me attention”. It’s like these hippies didn’t get hugs as kids and are constantly seeking acceptance from the social media hive mind. They don’t have the confidence or intelligence to critically think on their own.

I guess the same could be said of TBS in some respect, but I don’t agree with everything on here sometimes either. I just choose this news source because it’s honest most of the time. I may not agree with the anger or writing style or opinion pieces sometimes but I can keep reading and still form my own separate opinion. I still read the Telegram and think the same way – on my own using a variety of sources from different types of outlets. I don’t just see what’s trending on Twitter every morning and think that’s effing right and then head over to Facebook for some breakfast attention serving.

Hippeis Don’t Matter (and they don’t): I believe you hit the nail on the head. The vast majority of people consuming the news believe everything from one source and don’t cross check with other media outlets to form their own opinions. If that’s not bad enough, the fact most reporters fail to perform basic research, tell the whole story or just use opinions compounds the issue.

There was a perfect example in the T&G this morning. The report about a man that drown in Lake Quinsigamond over the weekend was poorly reported. Some hippie from Becker College started railing in the comments section on the first responders for failing to do their job. Or more accurately, they just let him drown. Finally, someone that was witnessed the event gave an accurate description in the comments section and shocker, the first responders did indeed act professionally and with concern. The hippie jumped to conclusions and the reporter failed to do his job, yet again. This is also just another example of the negative light T&G reporters like to paint the on city’s police.

The mere fact that you consider TBS a new source illustrates you yourself have little capacity for critical thinking, so I’d say the “hippies” are having a good laugh at your chastising them with your armchair psychoanalysis.

Do you read every single article and then comment on them? Every one I read has at least 1 comment from you. I get that you don’t like TBS, but you sure are dedicating a lot of time and effort to him.

It’s amusing how many Turtlebots have made similar comments, as though it were some herculean effort to read a few paragraphs of copy, though I understand that’s likely true for many here. It takes about sixty seconds to read the blog, maybe 60 seconds to scan the comments, and another 30-45 seconds to bang out a comment, should I be so inclined. I’m in and out before the cup of coffee’s done brewing in the Keurig, hardly any time or effort at all.

So the first thing you do in the morning, before you even have a coffee, is check TBS and then comment on every article? Wow he’s really in your head. And all of your comments are negative. So your first thoughts and actions every morning are negative? That must really set a good tone for the rest of the day.

sounds like you may have an inferiority complex boy. Probably some pony tailed English or Sociology professor at some community college who has never gotten a nice peice of arse !

Negative??? Hardly, my good man. All of my comments are a positive force for good. It’s no different than pimping Illinois Nazis around, or harassing the KKK. It sets a perfect tone throughout my day. Besides, if you really believe what you say then must also believe that “he who shall not be named” stews in the same space of continual negativity. The truth is, you just don’t like having to deal with opposition in your little online clubhouse, and having the bullying turned back on you. Ah well, guess you’ll just have to deal. That’s something we can all be positive about. 😉

            Keurig? Think green, man.

A pot of coffee for the morning and the remainder for iced in the evening. The grounds and paper for compost.

Honestly surprised to see such an honest, personal take. As this develops, I’d be interested to see reaction from the factions.

A New Orleans cop was shot dead this weekend while sitting in his cruiser.

There were 29 shootings, 9 fatal, in Baltimore over the Memorial Day weekend.

    Where’s the protests???

The college kids are all back home living the good life and for the next few months will be away from the influence of their misguided college professors. Must be driving all those pointy headed zealots crazy too. Then again, they are probably too busy on important research such as, the impact of mosquito farts on el nino.

Marty is spot on! The hippies are just a bunch of mindless idiots looking for attention.
