Nine weeks ago today the world shut down. We were told it would last for 2 weeks and was being done to “flatten the curve” so that healthcare workers were not overloaded. We gave up our businesses, our jobs, our First and Second Amendment rights, and our liberty in order to make the lives easier for nurses and doctors, and we were happy to do it. But time is officially up and we’re not doing it anymore. Nevertheless, the media is continuing to force feed us bullshit fear mongering designed to keep us home forever. Check out this story that was featured on Good Morning America yesterday about a Boston nurse.
Diana Costine has been giving an inside look into what it’s like to be a nurse at Boston Medical Center during the COVID-19 pandemic. Using the hospital’s medical supply closet to record, Costine has been keeping a video diary to document what it’s like to work inside the ICU. In a video shared by Good Morning America on Wednesday, a clip shows Costine dressed in scrubs, taking off her N95 respirator off to show indents on her face from wearing the mask.
“My face is killing me,” she said to the camera. “I think that skin on my nose there is about ready to burst open.”
In another clip, Costine revealed some of the struggles the hospital has been dealing with during the pandemic, including a lack of supplies such as PPE masks, hospital gowns, and gloves. At the end of April, Boston Medical’s ICU department reached capacity and ambulances had to be redirected and told to head to other facilities.
Costine had documented the moment when it happened.
“Right now we have no critical care beds in our hospital,” she said in her video. “We’ve been managing our COVID-19 patients down in the emergency department, which is obviously less than ideal for everyone involved. But, the hospital is trying to make more ICU beds and we’re moving people around.”

We get it – your job is hard. It’s tiring. It’s emotionally draining. You got shit on your face. You can barely find the time to hide in a closet every day and virtue signal on social media. This video diary, which does not appear to be documented on Twitter or Facebook and thus could not have caught the attention of GMA producers by going viral, magically ended up in the hands of Good Morning America producers.
These videos are never shared to spread awareness about what’s going on in hospitals, because we all kind of get the point by now – people are dying, there’s a lack of PPE, and it’s all Trump’s fault.
Instead they’re shared to push their agenda to guilt us all into staying home until they tell us we’re allowed to leave.
Having seen the impact and effects of the virus, she’s also been vocal about her own frustrations about those not taking social distancing seriously.
“I’m almost jealous of the people who don’t have to work in the hospital right now because they probably just have this ‘ignorance is bliss’ attitude,” she said. “And even the ones who don’t have that attitude have no idea what we’re seeing.”
“It’s just been really difficult and it’s hard sometimes seeing people out and not following the protocol just staying at home or going out and they’re getting together. It’s frustrating as a nurse seeing this because you’re looking at them and you know, you just know, how bad this is going to get and how bad it is.”
With Governor Charlie Baker planning to reopen the state’s economy starting on May 18, some scientists warn that “it still feels too early” and rushing could lead to an increase in outbreaks. That would only place a greater demand on hospitals in Massachusetts, which have begun working together to share supplies, equipment, and staff.
You’re jealous of the people who lost their jobs and businesses? You’re jealous that you’re being paid while other people still haven’t gotten their stimulus checks or PPP loans? You’re jealous of people who don’t have to do the job that you literally signed up to do because it’s so fucking hard?
Get. Over. Yourself.
I’m sick of being told by people like this that we don’t understand what they’re going through, when they clearly don’t understand what we’re going through. Try owning a business that’s lost 50, 60, 75, or 100% of their profits due to closures or an economic slowdown. Try having two parents with jobs who are forced to work from home attempting to get work done with two little kids, one of who is potty training, who always need another freaking refill of cranberry juice. If she has crotch fruits they get to go to daycare, but my crotch fruits can’t, because my crotch fruits can get and spread the virus but her’s somehow can’t.
I haven’t gotten together with any friends because I’ve sacrificed for people like her. But I’m not gonna do it much longer because time’s up. I don’t give a flying fuck if you go and make a video about how much you hate seeing me do it, because you’re clearly ungrateful and think that you’re the only one who’s made any sort of sacrifices for the last 9 weeks.
And did I mention that this nurse was featured in 2014 on the ABC documentary NY Med, during which she cried because she had to decide whether or not she wanted to get a pacemaker?
Almost as if she really enjoys attention, drama, and seeks out the camera. As a commenter stated.
You’ll be OK.
Look, I like nurses and I hate writing blogs about them. But please, just cut the shit. Show up to work, do your job, and stop telling people who have sacrificed for you that they’re not doing enough while demanding that they sacrifice even more because your job is so hard.

Vast majority of nurses are good to go. Very few are like her thankfully & she is a insult to her profession!
Crying over a pacemaker??? Lol I was told I need one 4 years ago. I didnāt cry I said, when do I get on the table. It was either that or death. Seemed a pretty simple decision.
Doesn’t this twat have a dance routine she and her sisters have to practice???
At the beginning of the Iraq war, I was deployed as a medic to a theater combat support hospital. The Base was attacked every day, and also an endless amount of wounded troops coming in. 18 hour days were normal. Working with limited PPE. Our uniforms and boots covered in blood. Away from our families. Away from our regular jobs. Mind blowing injuries. Mind blowing suffering, every fucking day and night. And to think……not one of us hid in a fucking closet to record videos to send to a TV show. I’d bet money that she’s a total trash nurse.
Respect and admire your work and service to our Country. I donāt condone the videos. Personally, and as a nurse, I find them unprofessional and think itās unethical to turn patient care into reality TV. What you describe in Iraq sounds horrific, but working with a highly contagious is different. You breathe in respirated droplets, you touch a contaminated surface, your PPE fails you, youāre infinitely more likely to contract a deadly virus yourself. Thatās difference I see in what you described in your hospital experience. You werenāt going to possibly die from just breathing the same air as your patients. The virus is making lots of healthcare providers freak out and act out of character. They just arenāt uploading videos. She actually may be a very fine clinician suffering from severe anxiety or even a form of PTSD as opposed to a ātrash nurse.ā
This cunt who looks to be 30’s or under has less than a 0.1% chance of dieing from the corona. You’re really trying to compare her experience to a combat medic knee deep in shit with hero’s potentially dieing? You do realize that most of this cunt’s patients are the zombies walking up and down methadone mile, right? Do you know where bmc is? Google newmarket square and sit at the traffic lights to get a taste. BMC is flooded with the area junkies so that they can get off the street for a night and given drugs. How do i know? Because I’m a truck driver driving that area trying not to assist them with suicide or an insurance case.
A “theater” combat support hospital is practice for real combat. Nobody died Nobody got hurt
My family was all military, it’s all a charade and parade unfortunately.
Thanks for serving anyway, you probably had good intentions and that’s all that matters to the man upstairs.
Nurses = Teachers. Narcissistic. Delusions of Grandeur. Greedy. Complaining Non-Stop. Not necessarily terribly bright.
They come from the same pool.
Charlie Baker is Cancer

I sincerely hope you, and your family stay safe and healthy and never have to lose a friend or a loved one to this or need to have one of these āvirtue signalersā try to save your life or hold the hand of your sick or dying family member while youāre unable to be by their side. Be kind. Itās free.
Covid-19 is made out of people.
Hey everyone look at me look at me Iām a nurse doing my job …what self loathing cunt ….you give rest heal care workers bad reputation who do their jobs not look for attention….
Nurses need to get over themselves!! You went college for training knowing it wouldnāt be easy job….I appreciated what you do but that is what you sighed up for . Same with rest front line workers . how about lady cashier at supermarkets and cvs Walgreens etc …they didnāt sign up for front line danger for lot less money but they arenāt looking for attention
Quarenteen is restricting the movements of the sick.
Tyranny is restricting the movements of the healthy.
How many beds were used at the Boston Convention Center and the other “emergency” sites that were set up? Shame on this nurse with too much time on her hands and on Good Morning America for not doing much in-depth research before running this fear-mongering fairy tale.
You mean the 0.0 used down Cape Cod? More people died in one nursing home than beds used in probably all these field hospitals set up. Anyone want to ask Gov. Parker about that?
Virtue wears a veil. But only vanity wears a mask.
i’m not wearing anything, ever again.
Send nudes Daddy!!
i’m making you a video from the supply closet.
Women are sociopaths
Pathology doesnāt discriminate. I know a few males who I would call sociopaths along with a few women as well. Just because you have bad taste in women, it doesnāt make us all bad. My ex husband was a sociopath, completely heartless. He didnāt have any real feelings, everything was always such an act. 20yrs together and the one time he cried, it was for himself
i think what he was trying to say is that men can be sociopaths, but all women are sociopaths. hope this helps.
Ya Silencio, I got that. However, Iād say itās the other way around
Okay, women are sociopaths but men can be sociopaths.
I think 96% of nurses are awesome and do great work, but itās shit like this that prove women donāt belong in combat..
Maybe 3 or 4 out of 10 nurses aren’t raging nuts jobs and only 1 or 2 out of ten are rational people. 7 out of 10 nurses would run you into the ditch with their lexus or cadillac suv and leave you to die cuz they been drinkin’ n shit. crazy girls, it’s jersey shore in scrubs.
Iām a nurse. While I personally wouldnāt make these videos, I do believe all healthcare workers should be off limits to TB commentary right now. Work is beyond stressful. Anxiety is high. Thereās a higher than average risk of contracting coronavirus with every patient we care for at work. Thereās the added worry that we may bring the virus home to our family. Some healthcare providers are staying apart from their families, and thatās lonely. The anxiety isnāt in just caring for the increased numbers of the sick and dying, there are issues with not enough essential protective equipment. There is a lack of understanding of what works to treat COVID-19. Until you have actually seen someone be intubated on a ventilator or die in front of you, cut nurses a break. She is tired, overworked, stressed, frustrated and frightened. Itās a pandemic. Itās having negative effects on everyone. But, this nurse who goes off to work each day, while many people are at home (or should be staying home) may be the person who helps you or saves your life. It has never been more stressful to help sick patients get healthy, all the while worrying if weāve just caught the virus from an infected patient. The videos may be helping her to cope. Sheās putting herself out there on the front line because thatās what nurses do, we take care of people and it isnāt easy. Would truly appreciate some empathy given the circumstances TB.
Nah.
Now go get me some ice chips!
Didn’t your medical practitioner tell you to stop shoving ice chips into your urethra?
Hey nurses, you signed up for the job. If you donāt like it quit and collect unemployment with a $600 boost incentive to not go back. Shut the fuck up, the vast majority of you have already been infected and now have immunity.
Fuck off
Oh boo fucking hoo, it’s so stressful that you can make tik-tok videos, go outside for parades and fly overs. Yeah it’s real hard putting in a fatal morphine drip and walking away. BMC has no beds because they cater to the fucking oxygen thief junkies that surround that building.
Oh God shut the fuck up, nobody gives a shit. You know why we don’t give a fuck about you?? YOU FILLED OUT THE APPLICATION!! So shut the fuck up, learn to code, or pour my fucking coffee. You signed up for this shit, it’s not supposed to be easy. Loopy fucking cunt.
I am so sick of seeing these narcissistic nurses and their āpoor me, Iām a heroā closet documentaries. If theyāre busy and focused on the job theyāre getting very well paid to do, we shouldnāt be seeing this shit every fucking day. Itās gotten really old and Iām over it
In these days of social distancing, I send along a Virtual Cunt Punt.
Let them cry themselves a river. When they actually produce something maybe I’ll be sad to see them go. Same with teachers baseball basketball and soccer players. I just want to know what These mask pushing shit tards are going to say when a dollar has the value of a penny and I’m forced to kill them for the last jug of half & half?
You really shouldn’t be giving your little children fruit juice all day. It’s all sugar and no better than soda. You’re just addicting your kids to sugar and at a such a young age. Talk about child abuse!
In College in Boston in the 1980’s nurses were the wild chicks in the bar a 1:30 in the morning. Lined up for the investment banking guys at BU.
Usually a little dumpy in the lower butt and thigh area but once home to their little apartments along Cleveland Circle they were wildcats in the dark with the added benefit that they needed to get up early so you could get the fuck away and get to classes.
Then they showed up back at the bar the next night and it was rinse, wash, repeat. After a few weeks the claws came out. Miss a night and the next face to face was tense. If they gave up the ass, even more, like engagement rings were exchanged.
The tears, the rollercoaster emotions, the rabbit in the pot. Drama queens. Back away slowly. count your fingers. Nothing changed.
A lot of cars out today, windows down, music playing. Birds chirping, trees swaying in the wind. This is the America I know and love. If you want to lock down then lock down. If you aren’t afraid, get out there and live your life. If we all wanted to be told what to do we would still live at home with our parents
you sound gay
you sound like a disgruntled nurse that makes videos in a closet
Sheās just mad she got splashed trying corral some ass fired brown clay from a bedridden Covid patient down the toilet. I heard it leaked through her PPE, and she swallowed a couple nuggets. Now sheās being all dramatic cuz they were chewy going down, and she thinks sheās gonna get it.
I can probably smooth out those indents on her face with my special cream
Too late, I already gave her one of my free samples.
Hats off to all the care givers: nurses, doctors, EMTs, assisted care workers, etc. HOWEVER, what strikes me is what a difference 20yrs makes. During 9/11 not a peep out of any of these folks in Manhattan after the towers went down. They did what they were trained to do -preserve life – and did it thanklessly without selfie closet videos (although that tech wasnāt really around back then) and that was prob as bad or worse than this. It has to be a generational thing. Has to be.
I bet she was shouting āresist, resist, resistā a little over three years ago.
Yeah bc the amount of survivors/patients in 9/11 even remotely compares to the Covid over populated hospitals of today.
No one put a gun to her head and told her to become a nurse . You choose the profession you get into. Go into the marines you could get sent to war, become a cop you see the worst in people, become a plumber you got to touch poop, be a stripper you get men groping on you . It is what it is and you get compensated nicely from the profession that you choose. I know people who are going to loose their homes when unemployment runs out. This includes guys and girls who live large in the Seaport and places like Newton and Marblehead. Everyone from all social classes are going to see their lifestyles change less
I love nurses, they are some of the hardest workers on the planet. Unfortunately there is a huge crop of nurses that loves being a part of the story. Every single video that comes out like this has the opposite effect, it makes people want to break the rules more. Not for nothing, but If youāre in pain and tired, but you have enough energy to video blog then you arenāt that tired.
I an also an ICU nurse in Boston, and we do have a hard job. This nurse appears to be a jack ass who doesn’t want this to end, because then she’s not a hero anymore. Initially it was scary to think that we might not have enough equipment, but with really great strategic planning, we did have enough equient. People are going to die from COVID whether we open up tomorrow in a year. It’s time to learn how to live with this, cause it’s just not feasible to hide from it forever!
One of the stronger/most rational comments its I have ever read on TB.
Repeal the 19th Amendment! It has proven to be a colossal mistake!
We’re never going to hear an of these applause seeking, self appointed “heros”.
You think they’re whining now just wait until they start filing for disability payments as they start claiming they have PTSD.
I did building demolition for two years and I lived in a respirator and coveralls 10 hours a day 6 days a week. You go home, take a shower and have a beer and go on with your day. You don’t pose for pity pictures and beg for praise.
Get over yourself.
And I bet 10 million dollars that your face did not look like hers after wearing that actual heavy ass n95 mask for 60 hours a week for 2 years. I’m not even being sarcastic either. I’ve worn a respirator for days on end and for years on end like your self. I never looked like that in all those years from wearing a mask, not once, not ever. Sure you might get the red line outline but definitely not indents like that. Especially from a paper mask!
If these idiots are getting indents from their paper masks its because they are not wearing them properly (which will void effectiveness) or they are pulling on the elastic bands too make those Mark’s on their face for attention.
Trust me I have seen people on jobsites do that shit and I’m sure you have too!
Before anyone wants to try and discredit my statement of truth and facts. go fuck your mother’s ass. I have thousands of hours vested in education that allows me to make said statements. Now show me your osha cards, confined space cards and or hazmat cards. If you dont have any of the mentioned than just shut the fuck up right now and move along because you know fuck all about a mask you were told not to wear then were told too wear!
I was just at MGH last week, Yawkey, to be precise. My doctor and all the nurses I spoke to during my treatment told me they’re definitely over the hump, things are getting much better, and fingers crossed, the worst is in the rearview mirror.
I used to date a nurse. She would come home from work crying all the time after seeing patients die.
I would try to help her take her mind off of it by making her do dishes or calling her a fat pig so she would hit the gym.
Haha. You have friends Turtleweird
This nurse might want to consider quitting her job and going on welfare. Starvation hurts, too. I know that personally.
The more people complain the more I don’t care.
Ya itās tough out here at the beach collecting unemployment, too stressful
