Here’s a brief summary of the highlights of cop killer Thomas Latanowich’s criminal career:

  • July 2005 –  negligent operation of a motor vehicle, refusal to identify himself to police, leaving the scene of an accident causing personal injury, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and a state highway traffic violation
  • August 2005 – two counts of larceny of a motor vehicle
  • September 2005 – assault with a dangerous weapon, two counts of malicious damage to a motor vehicle, and disorderly conduct
  • December 2005 – armed robbery
  • January 2006 – two counts of filing a false crime report, three counts of making a bomb or hijacking threat, and one count of conspiracy. Took a plea where the charges were dropped if he plead guilty to the false crime report charge
  • March 2006 – possessing cocaine with intent to distribute
  • August 2006 – assault and battery on a woman
  • February 2007 – assault and battery and malicious destruction of property
  • April 2007 – violating a restraining order, threatening to commit a crime (domestic violence murder), and witness intimidation
  • June 2007 – assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (a car)
  • July 2007 – driving on a suspended license, possessing a class B drug with intent to distribute, possessing a class D drug
  • August 2007 – assault with a dangerous weapon (rocks and bricks) and malicious destruction of property
  • April 2008 – assault and battery and malicious destruction of property
  • May 2008 – two counts of carrying a gun without an FID card, one count of unlawful storage of a firearm, and one count of violating a firearm surrender order. Sentenced to prison but never actually went to prison for this.
  • December 2008 with improper firearm storage, carrying a gun without an FID card, and defacing a serial number on a firearm. Got away with at a bench trial, just months after previous gun charge.
  • And again in July 2009 – two counts of possessing a firearm without an FID card
  • August 2009 – heroin trafficking and receiving stolen property.
  • January 2010 – grand jury on Jan. 15 found enough evidence to indict Thomas Latanowich on a total of 27 counts of possessing a firearm without proper identification, one count of trafficking heroin, one count of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and seven counts of receiving stolen property valued over $250, among other charges.
  • January 2010 – In Dennis, Latanowich allegedly pulled a gun on a woman he had lived
  • June 2010 – carrying a dangerous weapon (double aged switchblade). Sentenced to prison where he stayed until 2014.
  • August 2014 with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, using a motor vehicle without authority, and speeding
  • October 2016 with assault and battery of a pregnant woman, strangulation or suffocation of a pregnant woman, and vandalizing property. The case was dismissed after the alleged victim, Krystal M. Bearse, asserted her Fifth Amendment privilege, records show.
  • December 2016 – Stabbed a guy who had just been released from the state corrections center in Hyannis and was being driven home by his girlfriend. Latanowich tailed their vehicle and when they pulled up to a red light, he got of his vehicle, approached the victim’s vehicle, then stabbed the man, police said.

Oh, and the the pregnant woman he choked who later pled the fifth and allowed him to get away with it – she was pregnant with his kid. Here’s their baby bump registry.

His brother Dan is a real winner too:

A charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon filed against a 36-year-old Hyannis man after an altercation at a funeral home was dismissed Tuesday. Daniel Latanowich allegedly threw a metal flower holder that hit a woman in the head during a June 2015 wake at Chapman Cole & Gleason Funeral Home in Mashpee. When police arrived, several witnesses told them a fight broke out because the deceased woman’s father did not want Latanowich there, according to court documents. The charge was dropped in Falmouth District Court because the victim failed to cooperate, documents show.

Showing up at wakes that he’s been disinvited to and throwing chairs at women. What a classy family.

Do I blame his parents? Of course. They’re Cape Cod trash. They raised trashy kids. They could tell their kids were going down the wrong paths when they were growing up, but instead of being parents they just let their shitty kids become shittier while they ripped Newport 100’s and went to the bar down the street.

In 2013 while in jail he was paroled as well, and went right back after a parole violation:

Why would a career criminal ever get paroled? Oh yea, because people like Tonomey Coleman sit on parole boards. Here’s what he said at his confirmation hearing to get on the parole board, which he passed with a 5-3 vote:

There are some promises that Tonomey Coleman can make to Massachusetts. He believes that Parole is good for “public welfare.”

This guy was a defense attorney before that. Of course he thinks letting assholes back into the general population is good for the public welfare. Was it good for Officer Gannon though? Because he was killed by an offender that Coleman believed was better off outside of jail for some reason. Good thing Charlie Baker, who is pretending to care about the plight of police officers, reappointed a clown like this in 2017. Just what we need in this state.

But after he was paroled in 2014 he was arrested three more times for, 1) driving a car without a license, 2) beating up and strangling the pregnant woman, 3) stabbing the guy who was on his way home from jail.

According to Fox 25 News’ Jacqui Heinrich, the judge responsible for letting him go each time was Gary Nickerson:

Who looks to be about a billion years old, give or take.

Just last week he offered to reduce the bail for a teacher accused of raping two children, from $25K to $10K.

Here’s my question – why was the stabbing charge dropped? I can understand the strangling of the girlfriend – she pled the fifth and was difficult to deal with for prosecutors. But the other charge being dropped by Nickerson is unexplained. As is the 2014 arrest for driving without a license. He was on probation at the time. When you get arrested and you’re on probation, you go back to jail. Those are the rules. Unless of course you have a judge who decides to intentionally keep you on the streets by dropping the charges.

Judge Nickerson and the parole board both have blood on their hands. Charlie Baker once again proved to be a disappointment, and the worst part is that whoever runs against him in 2018 will likely be even weaker on criminal justice. So despite having the strictest gun laws in the country, Massachusetts continues to be one of the most dangerous places for police officers to work. In Texas a shithead like Thomas Latanowich would’ve been caged like the animal he is a long, long time ago.

So, how do we get judges who actually follow the laws and become tough on career criminals? Elections? No, just look at who the people elect into office in this state. The current system of appointing the attorneys who gave the biggest campaign donations to the governor? No, look what that has gotten us. Here’s a novel idea, the candidate should have vast experience and knowledge. He or she should have been a cop, to have experienced evil and dealt with the victims of these assholes firsthand, next they should have been a prosecutor for the same reasons and lastly, they should have the cajones to actually sentence these animals for the crimes they commit.

And let’s get real on this soft ass judicial system…regardless of “uncooperative witnesses”, there are states who will continue to prosecute despite this, because domestic violence women will tend to do this, sadly. But states will prosecute regardless. Apparently not MA.

  • Massachusetts Government is a Disgrace
    April 15, 2018 at 2:56 am

“In its first major decision of the new session, the Massachusetts House rammed through a nearly $18 million package of pay raises for the Legislature, judges and the state’s six statewide constitutional officers.
House officials estimate the bill will cost $4.1 million this fiscal year, and $17.8 million over the course of a full year beginning in fiscal 2018. Of that annual cost, $2.8 million more will go toward salaries and office expenses for lawmakers, while $12.4 million will go toward pay hikes for judges and court clerks.”

    The above article from WBUR.ORG

So this piece of shit judge(s) that let this monster loose on the street time and time again to kill an officer in the line of duty, will get a huge pay raise this year and an increase in their pensions. Who else is getting a raise? Maura Healey our attention seeking political whore AG suing Exxon Mobile for you know, global warming. Where is the call for stricter sentencing on evil career criminals Maura? Silence.
A liberal progressive is the most dangerous political animal in government and this state is loaded with them.

    Boston Herald:
“Cape and Islands District Attorney Michael O’Keefe said Gannon, 32, was shot attempting to deliver a warrant for a probation violation.
“His last sentence from us was a 4 to 5 state prison for a variety of gun charges,” O’Keefe said of Latanowich. “He had a probationary sentence after that. The reason that there was an outstanding warrant for him was that he violated his probation, which was transferred from the Barnstable Superior Court up to Middlesex County and the Middlesex Superior Court issued the warrant that was the subject of yesterday’s apprehension.”

Probation??? 111 convictions and the last one only a 4-5 year sentence for firearms violations? This murder is the fault of our judiciary system.

Charlie Baker signs a criminal justice reform bill last week that makes it easier on criminals and raises limits for larceny hurting victims and making it easier on criminals reducing charges.

The government set up by our Founding Fathers was designed “For the People by the People of the People”

However, It’s disgusting and criminal that government is now designed “For the politicians by the politicians of the politicians”

Vote these ineffective, dangerous and selfish agenda driven politicians and government hacks out of office ASAP.

God Bless Officer Gannon, his family, his friends and all those that know and love him.

This would give the people a fighting chance against the criminals. These FUCKING judges and Gov. Baker don’t give a fuck that we the taxpayers PAY THEIR FUCKING SALARIES!!! You know, the people that get everyday and go to work, the honest hard working citizen. It is NOT the scumbags that you put back on the streets to victimise us again. Cop hating judges like the piece of shit Judge Carhart from Spfld. should have been shit canned years ago or the judge that had a sucking machine under his court bench sucking on his cock while he was overseeing cases. Remember most if not all judges are or were lawyers and I’m sure everyone knows that they are just as bad as the criminals or worse as the shit bags they get set free. And the liberal motherfuckers that create most of the shit that get us, the working innocent taxpaying person victimised don’t think they have any blame. No way, the last thing we want in our judicial system is politics and false promises, look what that gets us for Attorney General – Maura the Cunt and Marsha Cockley. A judicial review board consisting of judges, attorneys, citizens etc – that might be the better answer.

WOW!!!! I just made a comment on Masslibs, posting the publicly available phone number for the office of the Mass parole board, and suggested that people call it and voice their disgust and discontent. Guess what? Gone in sixty seconds! POOF!
Why? Because panzer. Because it didn’t conform to their liberal agenda. They are all over this murder of Sean Gannon story…..looking like they give a fuck. They don’t. They are looking for clicks. Guess what? They do not give a fuck about officer Gannon’s murder. Like most liberally demented people, they do not want any ill words uttered of the criminal scum element. They do not want people questioning the parole board and judges that let this happen. They do not sincerely care about Sean Gannon’s murder.. At all. They are fake, phony, con artists, pretending to give a rats ass, but really are looking for click, click, click. Wolves in wolves clothing over there at Masslies.
Apparently Masslive supports cop-killers, because they sure as fuck do not support me calling for people to question/challenge the system that let this animal ‘125’ loose on our streets.

Unfortunately it’s the judge that makes the final call on dismissing a case, not the district attorneys. TB could have a party with all hack judges this state has and the crooked SJC and their rulings. It makes it nearly impossible to send pieces of shit to jail and keep them their without the SJC crying that it’s “unconstitutional”

  • E.Warren
    April 14, 2018 at 12:01 pm

The US Supreme Court sets the minimum standards for constitutional law across the US. Any states own Supreme Court can raise the rights of criminals to any level they choose, they simply must meet the liberal standard of the USSC.

The court system in MA is has been twisted into a bizarre hyper liberal disaster thanks to the MA SJC (supreme judicial court).

These justices have long claimed that the Ma declaration of rights provides more protection than the bill of rights in the constitution. It doesn’t…not even close. It’s all made up. These activist clowns that have made up the SJC are a disgrace.

As an institution the has SJC handed down countless absurd rulings that have destroyed criminal justice in MA.

  • MarkBell
    April 14, 2018 at 9:46 am

As written on the comments section of the Herald this morning.
    ——————————————————————————————————
When I talk to cops, the inevitable discussions come out about how bad the system is.

I listened to former Holyoke Chief Scott talk for years about how poor the justice system is, letting criminals back on the street before police paperwork is processed. I listen to cops talk about fake restraining orders used as leverage under the guise of protection. And that’s just two s-m-a-l-l issues, but with large ramifications to many.

The fact that anybody who shoots a cop is crooked beyond reason, or repair, creates its own factual basis, but seems to be societally ignored. What do judges think? It’s just a cop? It’s their job? Seems to be as such.

It’s weird that after over 100 arraignments, this guy was not seen in a manner which should have brought a SWAT team to serve this warrant…I don’t care how big and mean the dog is, because in this case it didn’t matter. What I want to know is how many more arraignment “centurians” do we have out there? How many judges just process these people while choosing who should be incarcerated for far less?

Think Troopergate sucks? I bet there are 100s of cases of truly corrupted justice all over the Commonwealth, and I’ve seen enough of it in Norfolk County and Plymouth County to satisfy my curiosity. And I experienced only a small fraction of all of it. A conversation with a long retired court clerk confirmed this long ago, and in my own disbelief I figured it could not be that bad…and it was worse. The drug lab stuff? It was currency until somebody got…how do they call it? Cold feet? Breathalyzer calibrations? Probably currency, too… The cost to taxpayers in MA is well over $100 million. WELL over, never mind the criminals are on the streets again! And nobody’s impressed. We worry about Stanley Rosenberg’s estranged spouse’s penis, and many others at the State House.

So, tragically, there will be probably thousands who will drive their squad cars to the deep heartfelt tragic-circumstance funeral. We’ll all be very sad. After all it IS sad.

And in not one car, I’d be willing to bet, will be one judge. Frankly, there ought to be buses of them…every single one of them from Paula Carey to the latest campaign contributing lottery-hopeful who has fingers crossed that THEY will be the next one. Authority, immunity, isolation from derelictions of duty charges SO solid, that a guy with over 100 arraignments walks, perhaps because he is white, maybe, while hundreds of thousands all over the US are imprisoned for any one of the charges, or less, than our latest MA recidivist.
    And.
    Nobody.
    Sets.
    Fire.
    Under.
    A.
    Corrupt.
    Judiciary.

    Nothing wrong with America, right?
    Nothing wrong with OJ, right?
This time, judges, the glove fits. This one’s on you. 100% of it.
We need to be freed from our judges. And the police can help. I bet Attorney Kester would like to hear your stories, officers.
    Make America Great Again.
It’s a country for the people, not the judges.
Let’s hope the dog recovers, too.
    Now go bury your brother.

Father Whyat Hurts introduced the new generation of comprehensive love through stool sampling. It works like this, you find someone who has always had the void in their lives, thinks they have felt love, but not really. Father Hurts preaches, take a salad plate of coax your focus to lay one down the plate. Then in a tied of caress and banter, chomp that baby down like a Charleston chew, soft enough to work a mallow lather, but firm enough to stay out of the teeth. Father Hurts also strongly advises to throw in an obligatory hummer. Both said stoolfest and crotch lunch will spread love amongst all of us, REGARDLESS of race, income, and ideology. Krystal Bearse Hurts because she loved it; she loves thy father. I, err, he loves her, the defecate little flower that she is.
