Butthurt Patriot hating loser networkNew York Jets receiver Brandon Marshall said Tuesday that many players in the NFL believe race played a role in Patriots quarterback Tom Brady’s four-game suspension being lifted.

“The race card,” Marshall said. “There are a lot of players out there that believe that white players — specifically, at the quarterback position — are treated differently.”

Marshall made his comments as part of a panel discussion on Showtime’s “Inside the NFL.”

Asked if he believes black players are held to a different standard, Marshall said, “Absolutely. At times, yes.”

It’s like a rule that when you sign with the Jets you have to go full…….I hate that you can’t say that word. We all know what that word is, we all know it’s not said to offend anyone, and we all know it completes so many sentences perfectly. But we can’t say it. Nevertheless, you get my point. You can be a perfectly productive football player one day. And then the next day you sign with the Jets and you automatically start saying the dumbest fucking thing you can possibly come up with. It’s part of being a Jet. It’s why they’re the Jets.

The thing about Brandon Marshall is he has quite the past. Here’s a quick rundown of his rap sheet higlights:

  • On March 22, 2008, Marshall slipped on an empty McDonald’s bag while wrestling with family members, and subsequently, fell through a television set at his home in Orlando, Florida – cutting his right forearm. He was treated at a local hospital and later released after needing a cast and several stitches.
  • In a 2008 game while with the Broncos he tried to put on a glove during a touchdown celebration dance that was supposed to symbolize “black power.”
  • He was arrested in 2004 on charges of assault on a law enforcement officer, refusal to obey, disorderly conduct, and resisting an officer
  • In 2007 he was arrested for domestic violence against his then girlfriend.
  • Later in 2007 he was arrested for DUI.
  • In 2008 he was arrested for driving without a license – cuz of the DUI.
  • In 2011 he was stabbed in the stomach by his wife. Because lots of normal people get stabbed in the stomach by their wife.
  • Later in 2011 he was arrested in New York for punching a woman in the face.

But please Brandon Marshall, tell me more about Tom Brady’s white privilege. Tell me more about what a big deal some fabricated experiment about PSI is. Oh, it’s also kind of funny that he has a problem with players having their punishments reduced. After all, he had his punishment reduced for domestic violence and DUI by the same commissioner that Tom Brady just facialized in court:

Marshall officially received a three-game suspension from the NFL on August 5, 2008, due to off-the-field legal troubles including a drunk driving charge and domestic violence arrest. He appealed the decision and won the appeal, reducing the punishment to a one-game suspension and a fine of two combined game checks, which totaled $52,353

But please, tell me more about how Tom Brady got away with no punishment for doing nothing wrong, because he’s white. After all, as a black man who has a rap sheet a mile long and STILL had his suspension reduced, you are definitely in a position to judge.

It’s just so dumb for so many reasons. Ray Rice was given a 2 game suspension for beating the shit out of his fiance, and only got a real punishment because the tape that Roger Goodell had already seen finally went public. Then this year Greg Hardy, who nearly killed his ex-girlfriend, had his suspension reduced from 10 games to 4, WITHOUT having to go to Federal Court.

Never mind that Roger Goodell refused to reduce Tom Brady’s suspension by even a game. Never mind that what Tom Brady was accused of has been proven by science to be fictional. Never mind that ESPN all but admitted yesterday that this was all just revenge for spygate – something Brady had nothing to do with. Never mind the most important fact that the NFL didn’t reduce Brady’s punishment – a FEDERAL JUDGE did.

Never mind all those facts. Must be racism. Because this is the world we are living in in 2015. A world where loud mouthed assholes from the Jets are allowed to play the race card because justice was served.

Don’t forget Ndamukong Suh having his one game suspension for stepping on Aaron Rodgers wiped out on appeal.

Of course he got of because he was white….oh, and he was also innocent. However, had he been black he wouldn’t have gotten off…he would have been guilty. How’s that for reasoning?
