Huffington Post: Thousands are backing a petition calling for the cancellation of the TLC series “19 Kids and Counting” over the stars’ discriminatory sentiments against the LGBT community. A petition on Change.org launched by Jim Wissick of San Jose, California, states that “19 Kids and Counting,” starring conservative Baptists Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar and their children, should be axed because of the LGBT fearmongering promoted by the family.
“The Duggars have been using their fame to promote discrimination, hate, and fear-mongering against gays and transgendered people,” Wissick wrote in a letter to TLC which was posted on the Change.org petition page. “You need to take a stand on the side of justice and cancel their show.”
His petition currently has more than 12,500 signatures with a goal of 100,000.
The Duggars’ Facebook page has also been embroiled in controversy. Last week, the couple posted a Facebook photo of themselves kissing and encouraged other married couples to share their own shots. John Becker, of LGBT blog The Bilerico Project, posted a photo of him kissing his husband, along with a message about marriage equality; he says his photo was later taken down and that he was banned from the Duggar’s page, E! News reports.
Homophobic ties extend to the Duggar children, too. Eldest son Josh Duggar is the executive director of the anti-gay Family Research Council’s legislative group, FRC Action, which is notorious for outrageous claims linking homosexuality with pedophilia and promoting the discredited theory of ex-gay therapy.
Secondly I can’t stand Jim Bob. I know an asshole when I see one, and Jim Bob is as big an a-hole as they get. I mean, just look at this guy:
That is the face of a man who thinks he’s God’s gift to women because he’s impregnated his wife five million times. Newsflash Jim Bob – lots of men have the ability to pass their seed and treat their wives and girlfriends like an incubator, but we’re not all filthy rich like you. Some of us have to have to carefully plan how many children we have. You think I want Turtleboy Jr. to be the only kid in school without a pair of fresh Jordan’s? Turtleboy Jr. STAYS fresh!!
Thirdly, I can’t stand the Duggar children. This is the oldest, Josh Duggar:
When Mrs. Turtleboy is watching this show and this kid comes on the TV I contemplate throwing my shoe at it. He thinks he’s the cat’s ass, just like his dad. Of course he’s like 25 years old and has three kids already. Because in Arkansas why would you go to college when you can get married and start passing on your seed to a girl you’ve never kissed before your wedding day?
Everything about the way they live is unnatural. I’m not against getting married young if you love each other. But when you get married just because you’re a horny 22 year old virgin who wants to procreate, that’s no way to live. And that’s what these people all do. When they “court” they’re not allowed to have any physical contact, except of course for the “side hug”
Besides that the most physical contact they’re allowed to have are the deep, soulful looks they give one another
Those are easily the two horniest two people I’ve ever seen.
So naturally once they’ve gotten to know each other for a few weeks and the guy can’t keep it in his pants any longer, they get engaged so they can graduate to the next big step – holding hands. And of course the girls are all getting pawned off for dowries by Jim Bob left and right. And of course, fucking of course, Jim Bob is the person who pronounces them all man and wife. Naturally the first thing they do is run for the hills for some sweet, delicious consummation.
Jill’s husband in particular I can’t stand. Just look at his wedding pictures:
Newsflash – none of you have ever kissed a girl. You have lost all privileges to act like a bad ass.
I know it makes me a terrible person, but when I watch this show I just want some internal crisis to happen that tears this family apart. It’s their fault for pretending to be so perfect. No one is happy like that all the time. Even Ned Flanders had his boiling point.
You know what would be the best thing to happen to this show? A gay Duggar. Give me a gay Duggar!!! The second oldest kids are both unmarried twins. They’re also like 24 years old, which makes them worth ZERO goats for Jim Bob to bargain with. Could you begin to imagine the turmoil that would happen if one of these kids came out of the closet? That would go over like a fart in church. I wanna see Jim Bob cry himself to sleep when he realizes that his child is possessed by satan.
I wanna see one of these little boogers just REBEL like no one has ever rebelled before. Just straight up start getting Chinese lettering tattoos, ripping butts, and give Jim Bob a piece of their mind. I wanna see the fury in one of his kid’s eyes when they say, “You don’t even know me Dad. You don’t know anything about me!! I’m going to a liberal university in New England and I’m gonna major in Women’s Studies and join a band!!”
That would be sweet.
But besides that it’s absolute bullshit that these terrorists wanna shut this show down. It’s like the people who wanna censor Turtleboy Sports. If you don’t like what you read or watch, then don’t read or watch it. Boom – problem solved. The Duggars live in God damn Arkansas and they consider hand holding outside of marriage a sin. What the hell did you think their position on gay marriage was gonna be??!!! I’ve never read anything about what Jim Bob stands for politically, but I guarantee I could tell you what his beliefs are on immigration, Obamacare, gun rights, abortion, and ESPECIALLY gay marriage.
Look, Turtleboy Sports is a strong advocate for the gay community. We don’t believe in policing who can and cannot get married, and we disagree with the Duggars’ stance on that topic. But that’s the beauty of America – agree to disagree. I don’t have to see eye to eye with their views that homosexuals will burn in hell for being born the way they are. I also don’t have to watch 19 Kids and Counting because we have two televisions in this Turtleboy household.
With that being said, this guy who’s starting the petition DOES have a point. This picture right here started the whole controversy:
I don’t care if they’re married or not, that picture is HOT. That is a photo of two people who just figured out how awesome something was that the rest of his figured out in the woods of Newton Hill. Except they didn’t pay $4 to drink 6.5 solo cups of foam Rolling Rock foam.
That’s what got Jim Bob and Michelle to post this monstrosity:

The guy who’s starting the petition is right to call them out on their bullshit. This is the message Jim Bob and Michelle put on their Facebook page:
God designed marriage to be a loving, dynamic relationship between a husband and wife for a lifetime. God loves marriage and it is supposed to be full of love, joy, fun and romance. Marriage is where romance belongs! Recently, Ben & Jessa received some criticism for posting a kissing picture. We are so grateful they waited to share their first kiss until after marriage. We’ve been married 30 years and are still in love! We had fun trying to duplicate Ben and Jessa’s happily married kissing picture. We challenge all married couples to take a happily married picture and post it here.
Husband and wife, not MAN AND WOMAN. Big difference there Jim Bob. I’m sorry, but if I’m a gay guy and I see this message, I’m thinking “fair game.” They’ve gotten over 7,000 replies, so the fact that they police the comments looking for satanic gay people who love each other is them breaking their own rules. Sure, it’s their Facebook page so they can do what they want, but that’s the equivalent of taking your ball and going home. Pretty bush league there Jim Bob. Be better than that.

Seriously though, I work with a guy with two sets of twins. He’s fucking miserable. There’s no way these maniacs are legitimately this upbeat. I have one at home, and a lot of days I wish for the sweet embrace of death.
