Turtleboy was the talk of the town tonight at Worcester’s City Council meeting. Again. You would think the Council would have better things to do than to discuss a blog about a boy riding a turtle. But you would be wrong. Worcester’s most notorious fake pastor Aaron Payson brought up a resolution in front of the City Council demanding that they return his emails as soon as he sends them. As we wrote about a week or so ago, this fake pastor wrote an angry email to Councilor Mike Gaffney demanding that he apologize for “liking” a harmless WW2 video in which Adolf Hitler is given fake captions, pretending to be Joe Petty. The video was harmless and hilarious:

Only a dingleberry wouldn’t think that’s funny. Anyway, since this guy is a fake pastor he thinks that elected officials owe him a written explanation immediately. Because he’s just that special. Notice that he didn’t ask his girl “pastor” Sarai Rivera to apologize for her many unholy, undignified things she’s done in public. Like that time she made fun of her Peruvian immigrant opponent Jackie Kostas for making a spelling mistake:

Screen Shot 2015-10-20 at 10.51.09 PM

HAHAHAHA!! FOOLS!!!! Silly immigrants and their spelling mistakes!! FOOLS!!!!!!

Then there was that time Aaron Payson was silent when his girl Sarai Rivera urged on a known racist as he called a black immigrant leader in the community a “coon” and “house nigger,” and then compared herself to Jesus:

He also never sent a strongly worded email to Sarai after it was revealed that she has been receiving strange, suspicious donations of $1,000 each from people all over the state who owe thousands of dollars in unpaid civil claims that they are “unable to pay.”

But yet Mike Gaffney is supposed to apologize for liking a Facebook video. Seems legit. I guess it’s not surprising since Payson is in charge of a fake religion called the Unitarian Universalist’s – or the UU’s. As Boston Magazine highlighted they’re basically a social movement that calls itself a religion to avoid paying taxes:

But maybe even church was too churchy. Perhaps, he thought, the UUA could start presenting itself more like a movement, church optional. They’d always waffled a bit on calling it a religion anyway. So the time had come for a complete rebrand. In early 2012, Morales began working with Reverend Terasa Cooley, the UUA’s program and strategy officer. Cooley, in turn, called on Kristi Kienholz, a Boston-based marketing strategist who suggested that the UUA come up with a branding strategy.

Yea, church isn’t cool or hip. And when people don’t go to church they don’t fill up the basket. So the solution is to just become a special interest political activist group and use your church as a means to organize political influence. Like Aaron Payson does:

Screen Shot 2015-10-09 at 3.43.15 PM

Cool religion bro.

Well here’s what Aaron Payson said tonight in front of the City Council via Worcester Magazine:

9L: Reverend Aaron Payson request to address City Council for the purpose of requesting a ruling regarding the appropriate means of communicating concerns to members of the Council regarding issues deemed important by a citizen or citizens of Worcester and what means of response is deemed appropriate.

Aaron Payson: Asks for ruling on a matter relating to communicating to a member of the council. On Oct 6 and 7 I sent an email to Mr. Gaffney. Relating concerns I had regarding online behavior I found appalling. Characterized neighborhood I lived in in inaccurate and derogatory manner. Liked movie clip in which actors portraying Hitler and members of his upper echelon, poor attempt at satire. Only people who received the email were Gaffney and five colleagues. I was informed by a colleague that the email appeared in its entirety on Turtleboy. Understand it’s Aidan Kearney. Because the blog post reports emails plural from me to Gaffney, can only conclude Gaffney sent this email to Turtleboy, none of the other cosigners did. Is this the kind of treatment we can receive from CCs when we communicate with them through their Council email address? Ought there be a courtesy response from the councilors in question? While I take issue with Turtleboy’s characterization with me as a fake pastor, he has every right to act like a moron. I harbor no ill will toward Mr. Gaffney. I abhor efforts to embarrass people interacting with Council. Hopes treatment stops here and now. Would ask for council ruling on appropriate behavior regarding interaction from this chamber.

So let me get this straight. This guy can go in front of an elected body and give SOMEONE ELSE credit for exposing him? This is the thing to do now? This is what a pastor does? Then he can call people morons? Yea, lots of REAL religious leaders call people morons. Isn’t that what the Turtleboy butthurts are always saying is wrong with this blog? That we call people morons? But please, tell me more about how Turtleboy is the bad guy in town.

Newsflash – Gaffney’s email is in the public domain. He can forward emails he gets to whoever he pleases. When you email him, it is YOU who is the moron if you expect that to be kept top secret. He is under no obligation to humor your dumbass inquiries about what videos he hit the like button on Facebook for. Only a moron would demand an apology from him, but not for his girl Sarai Rivera.

Naturally Kelley Square blockade organizer, Sarai Rivera campaign manager, and known criminal Kevin Ksen had the good Rev’s back, and the good Rev was right there to hook him up with the retweet:
Screen Shot 2015-10-20 at 11.35.46 PMScreen Shot 2015-10-20 at 11.35.58 PM

This is who the clergy around here associates with. Grown men who organize illegal blockades of the busiest intersection in town and force small children to cover their ears from the noise pollution as he stands there in his creepy rape trenchcoat:

Screen-Shot-2015-04-13-at-12.34.28-AM m3u72

Naturally everyone’s favorite loudmouthed fatboy Dicky Rushton had to get in his two cents:

Rushton: It seems like Rev Payson was asking for citizens to be respected when they send a direct message. I’ve been on this council 12 years. Everyone on this side of the aisle, that side of the aisle have experienced radio people, TV people, Telegram commenters saying things about us. We get emails with 250 people on it where people try to engage us in conversation, and we will. But that’s an open dialogue. I never had an email published on another blog intentionally. Just pulling up the blog itself, it resulted in a member of the clergy being called fake. Comments calling church a cult. The rule is common sense, decency. To pass it on, double down on it, to another entity, to have that entity take it can call member of the clergy fake.

Yea Dicky Rushton is a man of integrity. He ALWAYS respects his constituents when they send him a message. Especially when he’s on Twitter:

Screen Shot 2015-10-20 at 11.18.33 PM

Yea, it’s not hypocritical at all to openly mock a constituent’s teenage child and then chastise one of your colleagues for the crime of not responding to an email. Definitely Dicky!! Where’s Aaron Payson to condemn Dicky? Doesn’t seem very Christian to me!!

And this right here is totally professional behavior:

Screen Shot 2015-10-20 at 11.18.54 PMSee that? That is the rambling of a man who gives no fucks because he dropped out of the reelection because he knew he couldn’t get reelected.

Screen-Shot-2015-05-28-at-2.29.22-AM

Generally when you spit in the police’s face and align yourself with the hippies that will happen. Keep in mind, this is the SAME GUY who lost to Konnie Lukes in the mayoral election in 2007 by 106 votes, demanded a recount, and then lost by 117 votes. The recount only cost the city $7,000. No biggie. They could’ve just ran the ballots through the machine again, but he demanded a hand recount, because when you have a bunch of people tallying results in a crowded room with slash marks they’re a lot more likely to fuck up in his favor. That was his plan – become mayor via fuck up. Well, that and the fact that 100 people had passed in ballots without voting for anyone for mayor. He thought those votes should be counted for him. Because…Dicky!!!

Then Sarai had her say:

Rivera: I usually don’t respond to negative ignorance. Mesfin Beshir with half truths. People know what’s really going on and some of the insults people have had to endure under Mr. Beshir.

Yea, Mesfin Beshir is the insulting one:

Screen Shot 2015-10-20 at 10.55.53 PM Screen Shot 2015-10-20 at 10.54.41 PM Screen Shot 2015-10-20 at 10.51.09 PMLOL.

The bottom line is that the election is in two weeks. These jackwagons think they own the city and it should make you pissed off. The fact that fake pastors are getting up in front of the council and berating one of the only leaders up there with the minerals to stand up against these bullies should offend all of you. Mike Gaffney is going up against a large, powerful, motivated, and organized machine. There is nothing they won’t do to win, and no trick they won’t pull. We need you to not only vote, but help out. Message Mike on Facebook about how you can help his campaign. He needs you. The City of Worcester needs you. Vote the Turtleboy Ticket on November 3.

If you take the time to communicate with a public figure, you should choose your words very carefully and stand by them. While I do think it’s kind of questionable that Gaffney forwarded the Rev’s e-mail to TBS, if the Rev believes in what he wrote, he shouldn’t feel embarrassed to have his e-mail go public. I think he is embarrassed because I pointed out that he used the phrase, “beyond reproach” incorrectly. For that he should be embarrassed.

More religious intolerance and fomenting of religious hatred by Turtleboy.

Let’s ask MIkey Gaff whether he believes these folks are “fake” clergy. As an elected official, he has to answer. It must be true because I read it on TBS. Hahaha…

What’s your take on the campaign contributions Ms. Rivera’s campaign collected?

      • Haha
        October 21, 2015 at 10:34 am

Seeing how there is zero proof there was anything illegal about them, what is there to say? Just because someone owes money somewhere else does not mean she fraudulently made contributions in someone else’s name. TBS likes to make wild accusations to get those precious clicks and to help a failing mayoral bid. He knows Gaffney has no shot on his own, seeing how he’s done nothing in the last 2 years on the CC and has nothing but pipe dreams and incomplete plans for the future of our city. So, TBS has to do his best to discredit any and all of the opposition. News flash, if you have to resort to dirty campaigning to get elected you are a weak politician and don’t deserve a position.

Granted, it’s not proof in and of itself.

However, the size of the donations, that’s what raises the eyebrows when considering the source from whence they came.

If you’re court ordered to pay fees, fines, etc, and can make none of them, you got hardships which the law can aid you with. You don’t donate excessive amounts to a campaign.

          • Haha
            October 21, 2015 at 2:19 pm

” You don’t donate excessive amounts to a campaign.”

100% agree, if they have other obligations they should pay those first. However, people do what they are not supposed to constantly. But none of that would be the fault of Rivera. It is not up to the candidate to research their donors to make sure they have satisfied all other obligations before accepting a donation. And it also does not prove in any way that she did something illegal. It is also unethical to accuse someone of a crime without a shred of evidence that something illegal even happened. And the article that let you all know about this was not questioning, it was accusing. There’s a huge difference.

Figuring there are literally hundreds if not thousands of parody videos using that scene from Downfall, it’s more on the pastor looking for something to complain about.

Heck, I know kids that used that video themselves as part of a project on Jesse Owens.

The pastor is trying to show faux rage over a video which is honestly at this point part of an internet trend past its prime.

…no…just being an elected official doesn’t mean he needs to answer any question anyone poses about anything he does. Go to the White House and demand that the President talk to you about what he did on his last vacation and see how far it gets you.

STOP. Mr. Gaffney can LIKE anything he wants to LIKE. If citizens don’t LIKE what he LIKES they will not vote for him again. But, guess what, a lot of people really do LIKE MIKE. The “reverend” is a whiny windbag who lacks common sense and integrity. Stop encouraging the killing of babies “reverend”. Thou shalt not kill (Bible 101) or maybe you didn’t have that class in cult church seminary.

P.S. Dickie. UU is a cult. Here’s a definition: cult =a relatively small group of people having religious beliefs or practices regarded by others as strange. The UU is strange. Ask around.

    • October 21, 2015 at 4:03 pm

Yea, elected officials are contractually obligated to respond to emails from supporters of their political opponents. Definitely. Just last week I emailed Obama and never heard back. I should probably sue.
