So we’ve been migrating the site to a new hosting service and yesterday it was down for a little bit. Lots of people messaged us thinking Turtleboy was dead after they saw this headline:

We appreciate your concern and understand why reasonable people would think that Turtleboy would be found dead in Colrain, but unfortunately the Turtle is still around. And we still own Colrain.

Meanwhile this is the most Colrain part of the whole tragic story:

No one came to the door when a reporter from The Recorder knocked on the door of the closest home, but a “Gone Fishing” sign hung near the door.

Gone fishing. Got that? The whole town gone fishing. Of course they have a “gone fishing” sign on the home of the closest person. Because what else is there to do in Colrain in February besides fish?
