Want more proof that the Turtleboy Sports Revolution is the driving force of change in Worcester? Look no further than yesterday’s announcement that there will be police officers all year round in every Worcester secondary school. The Revolutionaries have been the people clamoring the loudest for increased safety in schools, despite the overwhelming opposition from the Circlejerk and company. Remember, it was Brenda Jenkins, Joyce McNickles, Keesha LaTulippe and crew who got a private meeting with the superintendent, mayor, and city manager before their big press conference in March, announcing that they wanted to schools to remain havens for gangs and violence.

Of course Jumpin’ Joe Petty and crew gave into them because that’s what gutless politicians do. They give favors to special interests groups that they’re cutting checks to. Police officers were not put into schools until a series of gun incidents at Burncoat and Worcester Tech later in the year. According to students and teachers the police were an overwhelming success.

But don’t let Joe Petty fool you – getting cops into the schools had absolutely nothing to do with him. He did it because we made him do it. That’s a fact. Once he saw it worked he kept it going. It’s also an election season and he can clearly see that he is getting destroyed in the polls. Most show that Michael Gaffney is burying him, largely over the issue of safety. That’s why all of a sudden you see Jumpin Joe getting “tough” on crime. He realized he was on the wrong side of history and is trying to make you forget that when you go to vote in November.

But we don’t forget at Turtleboy Sports.

Tonight’s School Committee meeting agenda has more evidence that the TBS Revolution is having a strong influence on city policy:

gb #5-196 – Mr. O’Connell (July 23, 2015) To review a report as to the number of teachers who have transferred from one school to another for the 2015-16 academic year, detailed by school, and by the percentage of teachers in each school who have transferred.

What do you think this is about? Gee, I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that we wrote an expose about Vernon Hill principal Carenza Jackson after it was discovered that over half of the faculty voluntarily left the school after her one year as principal. For the record, we’re not mad that Carenza wasn’t fired. She changed her offensive and inappropriate Facebook cover photo, and more than likely she is going to have to change her leadership style or deal with the wrath of parents and teachers this year who won’t put up with her alleged bullying. The mere fact that she will have no choice but to adjust the way she conducts herself is proof that the article was effective.

Here’s another item on the agenda tonight:

gb #5-203 – Mr. O’Connell (August 5, 2015) To request a report as to the number of students who are being returned to their schools this academic year prior to the expiration of their current suspensions, under the mandate of Chapter 222, and to consider any security measures which the return of these students makes advisable.

Yup. Turtleboy Sports has been the only media outlet since day one calling out the fact that many of the grown adult schoolchildren who SAVAGELY assaulted their vice principals at North High, were in school because administration and higher ups returned them there despite having violent pasts. Now Brian O’Connell wants to make sure this doesn’t happen again this year.

Here’s another item:

gb #5-209 – Miss Biancheria (August 10, 2015) Request that the Administration review the approved Social Media Policy for all staff of the Worcester public school system.

Gee, I wonder why Diana Biancheria is all of a sudden looking into social media activity for WPS personnel? Could it be because we showed this to the world?

Probably. This is why we’re endorsing both Biancheria and O’Connell (in addition to Nicola D’Andrea and Donna Colorio) – because they see that the people who elected them want change and they do something about it. Meanwhile Hilda Ramirez, John Monfredo, Jack Foley, and Tracy Novick continue to be useless. Here’s what Monfredo has on tap:

gb #5-205 -Mr Monfredo – Request that the Administration forward letters of congratulations to the following schools for being the top schools that had an attendance rate of 95.2 percent or better: Flagg Street School Tatnuck Magnet School Heard Street Discovery Academy Thorndyke Road School Lake View School University Park Campus School May Street School Wawecus Road School Midland Street School West Tatnuck School Nelson Place School Worcester Arts Magnet School

gb #5-207 – Mr. Monfredo Request that the Worcester Public Schools consider sharing information regarding the National Attendance Awareness Month movement sponsored by 40 national partners.

This is what we elected this idiot to do? Write letters of congratulations to the schools with all the white kids for their attendance rates? Share information about a national attendance awareness month? This is what John Monfredo is doing to serve the citizens of Worcester? It’s not like there is anything else in the WPS that needs attention.

Then of course there’s Tracy Novick’s contribution:

gb #5-211 – Ms. Novick (August 11, 2015) To review the following “updated/new policies” resulting from recent legislation in Massachusetts: – Physical Restraint Policy JKAA – Security Cameras in Schools ECAF – Emergency Plans EBC

This is coming from a woman who has time and time again put your kids in danger. She has opposed cameras in schools, metal detectors, and police officers, calling them “armed encampments.” Her anti-police rhetoric and pro-hippie agenda makes her one of the worst politicians of all time. She sued the city over the common sense panhandling ordinance. She lives in a house that is exempt from property taxes, so she literally contributed NOTHING to the city except for headaches.

Keep the TBS Revolution and vote right in November – Donna Colorio, Nicola D’Andrea, Brian O’Connell, and Diana Biancheria.

TB is definitely driving the agenda in the City along with the many many supporters who collectively, the revolution if you will, are trying to take back the City. Sending Petty and Novick packing in November job #1. Next year our looney state delegation. Keefe, O’Day, Mahoney all enablers.

I don’t know which is worse – Worcester’s school committee or its city council. It’s really a toss up at this point.

Can we have a pilot program for Tracy Novick to make payements in lieu of taxes.

Tracy Novick likes to argue just for the sake of hearing her own voice. She’s like a Jerry Springer contestant with less salty language and pearls.

The contrast in topics between the first three items and Monfredo’s is unbelievable.
