Courthouse Chaos: All Hell Broke Loose After Steven Toro’s Arraignment For Killing 11 Year Old Jaydee Soto

We previously wrote about Steven Toro, the shitbag who took off after hitting and killing an 11 year old girl last week.

Well Steven was in court today and it was a total joke. Can we stop catering to these criminals already? This shit drives me crazy.

The judge lowered Soto’s bail amount from $100,00 to $50,000 and let him hide his face in court (just like murderer Brian Brito) which caused outrage from the family and friends of Jaydee Soto, the little girl who was hit and killed.

Why his bail was lowered is beyond me. His driving record is a disgrace and his own mother was the one to tip the police. This scumsack went about his business for TWO DAYS while police and the victims family spent every waking moment trying to find him. People defending him keep saying “he was scared.” Get out of here with that noise. He was scared? Imagine how scared this little girl was when she died on the pavement. Imagine how scared her step dad and mom felt when they realized she wasn’t coming home. He was scared? More like he was hoping no one would find him.

And THIS is a complete slap in the face:

Then you wonder why this happens:

The guy below was arrested and was shouting “that’s my baby sister! That’s my baby sister, officer!”

Too bad Steven already got jumped and had his sneakers stolen. Ask me how bad I feel for him..

When exiting the courthouse, Jaydee’s mother could be heard saying “it hurts.” This poor woman.

Now while I can’t begin to imagine how hard it must be to control your emotions, the people freaking out outside just gave prosecution more evidence in their “he was afraid to come forward” reasoning behind Toro hiding out all weekend.

Steven pled not guilty today.

Infuriating as it is to hear defendants plead “not guilty”, they almost have to. If they plead “guilty”, they automatically forfeit the right to appeal.

Yep, he’ll walk free after murdering a child, and running/hiding. I can already see it. Fuck the so-called justice system. It’s a crock of shit and seems to favor men an awful lot, around here. Sick of this shit, and sick of humans in general. Such a disgraceful and useless species.

Her (Jaydee’s mom) screams tore through me. That anguish was raw. I can’t even imagine what she’s going through.

The SJC just ruled that Judges have to consider a defendants ability to pay .. when setting a bail amount on cases that do not have a 58A hearing. Under this recent ruling you are going to see a lot of petitions for bail reductions and when new cases are before the court you are going to see a lot more GPS cases and low bails

I literally saw literally TONS of grieving women in that video. Literally. I’m not discounting or poo-pooing their grief, but they’s some big ol’ gals! Their heads alone probably weigh half as much as my wife.

It’s kabuki, you’re mistaking it for bukake.

Both are fit for the description.

These lawyers lie so openly. They never get called out. I hope this lawyer gets hit by a drunk driver on his way home.

He’s doing his job defending his client. Technically there weren’t any witnesses putting him in the driver’s seat. Have you ever been hated on for doing your job? I have. But I get it, I can’t see a cashier getting ripped on, so I get that you don’t understand.

The lawyer that would defend this POS is just as bad as him if you ask me! I used to think that good, decent people outnumbered the scums of the Earth.. But TB has taught me that most Humans suck!!! We are a shitty species!

Seems like the family of the poor 11 year old has some real winners in it. You are right in that this may actually help his defense

WTF are you talking about? Real winners because they are outraged and heart broken that an innocent child was killed? Her family has zero relevance to his defense. You seem like a major @unt.

I dont agree with it , but unfortunately he is right. The scene outside that courtroom is extremely relevant to the tone that is set at the impending trial. Appearances cannot be ignored nearly as easily as we wish they could be. Aaron Hernandez beat a murder rap not because the jury didnt believe the prosecutions story, but because of who was telling it. Victim impact statements can mean the difference between a long and a short sentence when the examples are extreme enough. I feel for the family truly and cannot fathom the grief they are experiencing currently, but how they act in these moments can draw attention away from the image of that sweet little girl that should be on the mind of every juror. The way “brian” expressed this truth may not have been to your liking but it is imperitive we pick our battles based on the merit of ones point and not the manner in which it is delivered. Just like our beloved turtle is often shamed for his delivery instead of praised for his message, so are the “average joes” opinion cast aside.

I guarantee if the look into the criminal records of the family members who tried to attack him yesterday they will not find any saints. Media using the “family overcome with emotion” when it fact the planned to attack him and to show how bad they are. Fact is the driver is a scumbag for leaving the scene and should be punished harshly. Another fact is that any of us could have hit a little kid on her bike by herself at 10pm. If this driver stopped he would never have been charged whether the girl died or not. It sucks and is sad but I am guessing the driver did nothing wrong until he took off

I’m going to guess based on the fact he has had seven driving violations in just the passed 60 days alone he would probably be charged with something, driving without a license, dui, maybe a couple others, but nothing as severe as what he was charged with.
Where did you read she was on a bike? I read she was walking hand in hand with her dad and she walked beyond the yellow line when she was hit. Which is another thing that bothers me, when I walk with my children, even on a sidewalk, I always walk on the outside and have them walk on the inside furthest from the road. I feel for the family, I really do, but I just can’t help thinking how this could have been avoided in so many ways. I won’t say I’m a perfect parent, or that I’ve never had my kids out that late at night but school had just started. I dread waking my 11 year old up if she isn’t in bed by 9pm. Such a sad ending, a life lost, and all for a pack of cigarettes.
