Nate Silver runs ESPN’s The 538, a website that analyzes data and gives probability for sporting events and politics. He also works for ESPN, so naturally he has it in for Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. And today after news broke that the Red Sox were stealing signals from the Yankees, he thought it would be an appropriate time to tweet out this meme to his 2.5 million followers on Twitter:

https://twitter.com/NateSilver538/status/905170326887292928

I’ve looked at these meme a thousand times and I’m still no closer to understanding what it means. Cool meme.

Of course the fucked up part is that the kid with “childlike integrity” on his chest is Henry Richard, the older brother of Martin Richard, who was killed by Dzokhar Tsarnaev at the Boston Marathon in 2013.

Obviously there family has been through a tremendous amount of pain, and I would assume that Nate Silver would not intentionally do this. I mean, who would? But his tweet was put up about 4 hours ago, and even though he’s gotten thousands of replies from people informing him of what an idiotic thing this was to tweet, it’s still up.

He knows it’s Martin Richard’s brother. He’s keeping it up anyway. He’s even tweeted since then.

What a creamy pile of human garbage.

Shit’s funny, right Nate?

Awesome meme!!

Curt Schilling was fired at ESPN because he shared memes critical of Islam. Nate Silver will likely not be punished by ESPN for sharing a meme that mocks the brother of an eight year old boy who was murdered by Islamic terrorists. That about sums up ESPN and their values in a nutshell.

Well, yeah – obviously. Muslim is a protected class. They can do no wrong in the eyes of the regressive left. And the media panders to the snowflakes at every turn. That’s why every talking head has been spouting the same four words for almost a year…

    Trump. Russia. Possible collusion.

It doesn’t have to be true. Truth is the enemy of the state and must be suppressed at every turn (to paraphrase Nazi propaganda minister Joseph Goebels).

Thank you Turtleboy for telling me about this. I would not have known as I gave up looking at ESPN website, listening to ESPN radio, or watching ESPN on tv about years ago.

Your last paragraph says it all.

ESPN long dropped sports as a priority. No wonder losing subscribers and viewers.

What a shitbag, pick on pro athletes all day long… no really I think that’s funny. Pick on the family member and actual victim of violence and you become a dick, doesn’t matter what type of crime either… just don’t do it. I hope Silver gets a flat tire in the rain soon.

  • Seriously?

ESPN sucks, can’t wait for them to shut the doors!
