Curt Schilling was fired by ESPN a month or so ago for posting this on his Facebook page:

Kind of a little over the top with the picture, but we get his point. Regardless, it’s his opinion, and he’s allowed to have opinions. If ESPN wanted to fire him then that’s their right as well. We just can’t stand hypocrisy and lies. Here’s the press release that ESPN gave when they fired him:

“ESPN is an inclusive company. Curt Schilling has been advised that his conduct was unacceptable and his employment with ESPN has been terminated.”

So basically they got rid of him because they want to make the transgender community feel included because they are “inclusive,” and Schilling interfered with that. They have a right to protect their brand.

But we would expect that they would at least be consistent when other employees from ESPN write things on their social media accounts that are not inclusive. Well, here’s what talking head Jemele Hill had to say about the terrorist attack yesterday:

image

She just compared homophobia in America to the state sanctioned murder of gay people in countries like Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Afghanistan. She just compared some evangelicals in Indiana who don’t wanna make a gay wedding cake to a guy who killed 50 gay people because he saw two gay guys kissing. Very inclusive.

However, instead of just admitting she made a mistake or taking down the dumb tweet, she doubled down:

image

Let me answer those questions for you Jemele. 1)Yes, gay marriage is legal in all 50 states. 2) That bathroom law deals with transgendered people, not gay people. They are completely different groups of people. 3) The USA is one of the most accepting and progressive countries on earth when it comes to gay rights. Yet here you are shitting all over us for not being tolerant enough while representing ESPN.

When someone pointed out that his homophobia might have had something to do with religion (which she denies), here was her hot take:

image

Oh right. Every centralized religion preaches homophobia. Like the Unitarians and the Quakers. They hate gay people. Oh wait, no they don’t. Jemele Hill is just making up lies and stereotyping all religious people. It’s OK though, because her politics lean the “right” way.

image

Matthew Shepard was killed in 1998, and his killer was arrested and received two life sentences. Meanwhile thousands of people are killed in STATE SANCTIONED executions every year in countries that have outlawed homosexuality. This is a logical comparison that makes sense.

Speaking of inclusive, she kept going and decided to share her thoughts on Christianity:

image

Christianity was built on the same hate of the man who killed 50 people in Orlando. She wrote that on Twitter without any fear whatsoever of being disciplined for it. Christianity, a religion that was built off a guy named Jesus who went around healing people, forgiving sinners, and preaching charity, is a religion that is “built on the same hate” as what happened in Orlando. There are hundreds of millions of Christians in this country that an employee of ESPN just took a steamy dump on. But ESPN is an “inclusive company.”

image

Gay marriage. That’s the right we’ve been fighting for. In Iran they are not allowed to exist or they face death. These are the same fights.

image

Is the murder of gays promoted in church? Turtleboy must’ve been sleeping through that homily.

When someone pointed out that Curt Schilling was fired for doing the same thing Jemele Hill is doing (writing his opinions on social media), Jemele Hill wasn’t having none of that:

image

Oh I see. So if you “promote equality” by shitting on Christianity and comparing gay rights in America to gay rights in Saudi Arabia, then you can tweet whatever you want. Because some hate speech is more protected than other hate speech.

Instead she’s laughing at the idea that what she did is even comparable to Schilling:

https://twitter.com/jemelehill/status/742361763878948864

Here’s my question for Jemele – did you go to bat for Curt Schilling when he was fired? Because if it is your belief that you should be allowed to tweet about what you want on your own social media account, one would assume you were vocally supportive of Schilling when he was fired for writing his opinions on his personal social media account. Oh wait, she did the exact opposite:

Of course we all know that Jemele Hill will not be fired, nor will she be reprimanded. She knows it too. She can say whatever she want because she’s protected by ESPN’s obsession with political correctness. There is a 0.0% chance ESPN would fire a left leaning black woman. That’s just a fact. She can say whatever she wants because she kills two diversity quotas with one stone. As a matter of fact on her terrible daytime TV show that no one watches she was basically repeating all the nonsense she wrote on Twitter:

Screen Shot 2016-06-13 at 1.44.14 PM

DTGp1cL

And it’s hardly her first run in with controversy. In 2008 she said this about the Boston Celtics:

“Rooting for the Celtics is like saying Hitler was a victim.  It’s like hoping Gorbachev would get to the blinking red button before Reagan.”

Ya got that Celtics fans? When we put on our green-teamer footie pajamas we are saying that “Hitler was a victim.” Makes sense. By watching a sport and rooting for the team from Boston we are actually endorsing a man who sanctioned the murder of 6 million Jews.

Jemele Hill kept her job after this, and she will keep her job now. But please, tell me more about this “white privilege” thing. How come Curt Schilling didn’t use his imaginary white privileges to keep his job? How come the disadvantaged Jemele Hill gets to keep her job for doing the same thing Schilling did? If she’s part of an oppressed group wouldn’t the opposite outcome have occurred?

Oh wait, none of that stuff is actually real. No one is “oppressed” in America. Some people’s opinions are just more welcomed than others.

This bitch is so fucking stupid and the e is even dumber for putting this skank on the 6pm sportscenter. Can’t WAIT to see the first week of rating and watch espn scramble to replace this fucking racist bitch. Meanwhile, that shitty network continues to push itself even further away from it’s fan base. NICE GOING ESPN! YOUR A FUCKING RACIST SHITHOLE !

This chick is the main reason i quit cable and espn all together. How that place tolerates this nasty racist pig is beyond me. Go ahead espn, align yourselves with the most DESPISED people in America. Easy to understand why you’ve lost 10 million subscribers in the past 3 years alone! You are the b.e.t. of sports. The tmz of horrid coverage.

Can’t wait till the afro’s are rounded up and shipped away from here. This nasty pig will be the first one strapped to the ship!

ESPN has evolved into an enormous joke overall. The producers there all need to be shit canned. The worst show is that Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith “First Take.” This is the show where Stephen A. Smith thinks he is God and preachers on one point that lasts about 15 fucking minutes.

Fucking Bayless is no better either but Smith needs a punch in his racist mouth. You can see the racism in Smith’s face when he opens up his stupid dumb ass pie hole.

Curt Schilling took it a bit far with his post. Jemele Hill was a little more classy in her post. Her comment was harmless, however, if ESPN doesn’t like the fact that she commented on such a topic, she will play the race card to avoid being fired. Why does ANYONE want to voice their opinions on social media anyway?

      Her comments are harmless?

Perhaps. But she’s also pushing a false narrative that Christians and/or Conservatives are as dangerous as Islams who espouse Sharia law.

      You think that’s OK?

People who act like Christianity is anything like Islam are jokes. Christianity’s prophet preached kindness and can be called the perfect man. Islam’s prophet was a violent warlord who raped a 9 year old girl. Look it up.

If you are a brand, or nationally represent a brand, I’m sorry — you don’t get to speak freely without consequences. This was wrong of her to do, regardless of intention. Of course, since she’s a black woman commenting on sports and all, she’ll probably get an award.
