Fake Pastors Aaron Payson, Jose Encarnacion Are Harassing And Threatening City Councilors For Liking Things On Facebook

Aaron Payson and Jose Incarnation think they’re pastors, but really they are just activist politicians who hide behind the pulpit and use it to harass politicians they disagree with.

We’ve talked before about how District 4 City Councilor Sarai Rivera is a fake pastor. She went to online theology school and got a free collar out of it. Now she compares herself to Jesus whenever we expose her corruption. But she’s not the only activist who turned into a pastor for political gain. Back in April Sarai and her posse of pastors held a very important public news conference in which they discussed the “increasing level of hate speech” in Worcester. Everyone and their mother knew they were talking about Turtleboy Sports. But because they couldn’t name a single blog that was “hate speech” Telegram columnist Dianne Williamson mocked them and called it the “Guess what we’re talking about” and “Name that racist” press conference.

Well one of these “pastors” is named Aaron Payson.

521989_10151580324744273_1974577548_n

He voiced his beef with TBS at this press conference:

“I have a real issue with anonymity,” said the Rev. Aaron Payson of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Worcester. “I think if people have something important to say, they should put their name to it.” Rev. Payson and others said such comments have been made on message boards of numerous media outlets — Telegram.com included — as well as on the local TurtleBoy Sports blog.

Here’s my question – what type of fake religious leader spends his time worrying about a blog? I notice he doesn’t bring up any of the charitable causes we’ve helped raise money for or the countless ways in which the quality of life has improved in Worcester as a result of our ex-po-zays. Because a real pastor would actually notice stuff like that, since it’s kind of an important aspect of the whole “what would Jesus do” thing.

Well apparently this guy has been harassing Councilor Mike Gaffney recently by sending him emails in which he demands that Gaffney condemn Turtleboy Sports….or else. Keep in mind Gaffney is running a campaign right now, on top of his normal job as a lawyer. So obviously explaining himself to some irrelevant pastor is low on his list of priorities. Aaron Payson was not happy when Gaffney did not immediately respond to this email:

Mr. Gaffney,

It has come to my attention that through recent Facebook interactions, by “liking” statements made by Emily Megan (Saarinen) in a post that appeared on your Facebook page from September 10-19 and by liking a video posted a few weeks ago by Turtleboy, which utilizes Adolf Hitler as a means to mock Mayor Joe Petty, you have explicitly condoned sentiments that are at least extraordinarily offensive to many Worcester residents and for some, including me, constitute a form of  hate speech.  I am a resident of Tatnuck, and have been for 16 years.  I find Ms.  Saarinen’s comments demeaning of a neighborhood that prides itself on being diverse. I also find any comparison of our Mayor with Hitler to be beyond reproach and wonder what the Jewish citizens of Worcester would make of such a sentiment.  I am hoping that the condoning of this online activity was in error and that you will make every effort to correct this by retracting your explicit “like” and publically respond to such activity by acknowledging on your FB page that you  condoned these two instances of  hate speech when you “liked” them and that you regret doing so and will strive to not condone such speech and when it arises take a leadership stance by condemning it as the vast majority of the citizens of Worcester would expect, thus demonstrating respect for those you serve and serve with.  Please be assured that while only these posts have come to my attention, if such activity where directed at you, I would stand with you in asking any person condoning such speech to stop. I look forward to your timely response to this request.  Sincerely, Rev. Aaron Payson

I’m interested in your response to this and await your replies.

Also signing, Rev. Jose Encarnacion, Elder Esau Vance, Fr. Len Cowen, Sr. Michele Jacques, Chaplain Lydia Yanis de Simoneau

Alright, first of all, is this guy illiterate? This is the best email he could come up with? A collection of run-on sentences, scattered thoughts, and misspelled words? I mean, we do the same thing, but we don’t pretend to be learned theologians like this guy.

Secondly, how bout the nerve of this clown? He wonders what his Jewish friends would think of the Hitler video that a turtle rider dubbed over? FYI this was the blog, and this was the video:

Every Jewish person I know thinks that was hilarious. Because it is. The only people who wouldn’t find the humor in that are buttnuts with no sense of humor. Because it’s funny and it’s creative. And it’s certainly not offensive to Jews, any more than Hitler parodies on Family Guy are. I’m sorry, has Aaron Payson arbitrarily decided that incorporating Hitler into satirical anecdotes is not permissible? We must’ve missed the memo.

But you gotta love how this “pastor” is playing the, “I wonder what my influential west side Jewish friends would think about this Mr. Gaffney” card. Because at the end of the day this guy is an activist and a politician first, and he’s just using the pulpit for political street cred.

The most asinine part about this email are the demands and the policing of the Internet. This “pastor” has nothing better to do than go around seeing who liked every comment on Facebook? This is what religious leaders do? And now he’s demanding that Gaffney “retract his like” of the post? What the hell does that even mean? And how bout this demand?

“Publically respond to such activity by acknowledging on your FB page that you  condoned these two instances of  hate speech when you “liked” them and that you regret doing.”

This “pastor” is demanding that Mike Gaffney, an American citizen with free speech rights, go on his Facebook page and condone Turtleboy Sports for being hate speech? On what fucking planet is this fake pastor living? Where did he get this overinflated sense of self importance? Why would he think that he has any right whatsoever to demand that Gaffney write what he tells him to write on his Facebook page?

Here’s my thing with “pastors” like him. They’re not in it for the same reason catholic priests are. Look, I realize that some priests out there have given the rest of them a bad name, what with the diddling and all. But a catholic priest is making a conscious decision never to plow any women for the rest of their lives. Do you realize how legit that makes you when it comes to your faith?

I only bring that up because I have not seen a single catholic priest at any of these rallies. Not one. Because they don’t get themselves involved in politics. They care about two issues – gay marriage and abortion. Their stances are pretty clear on both – no gay marriage in the church, and no abortion. But I never see catholic priests down at Planned Parenthood lecturing people who are going inside. No, all they do is go to the March For Life once a year and urge their parishioners to pray for an end to abortion. In their free time they’re visiting people who are dying and giving them their last rites. They’re organizing youth trips, helping out at the mustard seed, and countless other ways of helping the most needy amongst us. But they certainly aren’t writing emails to city councilors because they liked Planned Parenthood’s Facebook page.

Speaking of, this is how you know Aaron Payson is a fake pastor:

Screen Shot 2015-10-09 at 3.35.46 PM

Look, I’m not here to talk about my opinion on abortion. When we first started this blog, abortion, gun control, immigration, and other topics that divide people on political lines were explicitly put on the “do not blog” list. There’s more than one blogger here and we all don’t feel the same way about that stuff.

That’s what is fraudulent about this guy – he’s just a far left activist masquerading as a pastor. I mean, check out his Facebook pageIt’s a collection of anti-police, far left propaganda. Not once did I see any reference towards visiting dying people, serving food at a shelter, or any other charitable stuff that real pastors do. It’s all just stuff like this:

Yup. This is what this guy does and he calls himself a pastor. He is a joke, and Turtleboy prays for his soul.

229440_18594874272_1917_n

He’s not the only one though. Sarai’s husband Jose Encarnacion also fancies himself a reverend. Back in 2010 when Joe O’Brien was the mayor of Worcester, the City Council had an item on the agenda that would’ve banned the city of Worcester from doing business with ANY businesses located in the state of Arizona. It was in response to Arizona’s recent conservative immigration law. Obviously this was a really, really dumb idea for the City Council. I don’t care what you think about immigration, but if you think the state of Arizona gives a flying fuck about doing business with Worcester, then you have a bloated sense of self importance that needs to be checked immediately.

Picture the governor of Arizona getting the memo about this resolution and saying to her advisors, ‘Now where are we going to get our Polar cranberry seltzer from? Those guys up in Worcester really got us by the balls now!!”

First of all, when you embargo another country, that’s viewed as a a hostile act. It can often lead to war. But you don’t boycott other states – you embargo countries. If you wanna embargo Iran then go ahead. But Arizona? Give me a fucking break.

Naturally the City Council voted 7-4 to reject this stupid idea. Actually they voted not to vote on it, because as Councilor Clancy pointed out – the City Council didn’t even have the legal authority to do this. Nevertheless, Joe O’Brien, Joff Smith, Mike Germain, and of course Dicky Rushton were the four yes votes. The no’s were surprisingly Petty, Bill Eddy, Sarai’s predecessor Barbara Haller, Phil Palmieri, Paul Clancy, Kate Toomey, and Konnie Lukes. Now even though six other people voted against this provision, the “reverend” Jose Encarnacion wrote a scathing email to Konnie Lukes and ONLY Konnie Lukes, which we’ve gotten a hold of:

Hello Councilor Lukes

I should not be in awe of what just transpired at the city council meeting tonight. Despite the historical track record of Worcester’s activism against injustice, lt’s leadership in the last two decades have truly shown their colors. Tonight you truly showed yours! What is truly hideous, horrific & nauseating is that 7 councilors including yourself would not think twice of dismissing such an important issue not only nationally but locally as it was evident by those that attended from both sides of the argument. What is also truly sad is those in favor of the Arizona bill truly believe that tonight was a victory for them. Well unfortunately they are truly mistaken because tonight was simply a forfeit on behalf of the councilors that although were there present in reality were not and took the easy way out by embracing legal rehotoric of a council rule to hide behind. What is more pathetic is that the councilors did not truly hide but rather exposed themselves by showing their true colors. Colors of injustice, racism, censorship and blatant disregard for all people. So although I was not able to publicly give my testimony because a council rule deemed it not relevant to the council’s business, I’m utilizing this email to share my statement:

“SB1070 is the farthest-reacching anti-immigrant bill ever passed by a state. Clearly a mandate to allow law enforcement to use racial profiling and to give the state a backdoor entry in enforcing federal immigration law. We as the Worcester Latino Ministers Alliance (WLMA) along with the Latino Clergy leadership and our congregations stand in solidarity with all our brothers & sisters around the country from community/neighborhood groups, faith based groups, businesses and law enforcement groups as well as elected officials across the country whom have dared to stand against injustice and blatant racism by ardently and publicly opposing this bill. We may not live in the state of Arizona but we certainly have an ethical, moral & political responsibility to speak and expose the injustices that are happening in Arizona and that may soon follow to other states. According to the Law’s sponsor, Senator Russell Pearce claims that ten other states are interested in similar legislation. Well tonight as a representative of the WLMA, as a local Latino Leader, as a man of color in this city and most of all as a father of 5 young men of color in this city, I’m not interested in the claims of other states wanting to adopt such legislation. Tonight I’m interested in finding out where do my local city officials stand, where does our city council stand. Will you stand up and stand out and look at injustice in the eye and divest from it by approving this resolution?”

Well I guess I’ll never know! Or will I? Let me tell you what I do know. Your inexusable and weak attempt at not standing out, diverting from exposure did not work, better yet it truly did expose you along with all the other councilors about what is important and what matters or better yet who is important and who matters. As a Councilor at large for such a diverse community it would have been better for you to at least show some sincerity and just publicly oppose the resolution instead of attempting to hide your true position on this matter through a rule of shut down with out communication. Well believe me Councilor Lukes that you along with the others did not hide anything your strong NO vote was loud & clear, still ringing in my ears. I will make sure that the dispicable deafning tone of your NO! along with the NO’s of all the other councilors continues to ring loud and clear in my ears awakening in me a determined passion to make sure that come next term your NO’s or Yes’s for that matter will no longer be relevant. So just in case I didn’t make my self clear enough, I intend to use all the leadership influence bestowed upon me to awaken the same desire and passion among our community to ensure that you do not get re-elected.

If I’ve offended you in any way my apologies not my intention. However I’m a preacher not a politician and I will not hide behind my pulpit nor will I hide behind rehtoric, simply trying to show my true colors.

Rev. Jose Encarnacion, Christian Community Church, 89 Austin St. Worcester, Ma. 01609

Hey Rev – you said you were going to use your leadership to make sure Konnie Lukes doesn’t get reelected. How’d that work out? One of the councilors who voted for getting rid of this dumb idea was Barbara Haller. Not coincidentally Jose’s wife Sarai ran and defeated Haller in the next election, thanks in large part to the hard work of Kevin Ksen’s rape van.

12092379_10205547639273988_614460394_n 12084051_10205547641514044_1213526497_n

But seriously, it’s just the tone that exposes this guy for being a fraud. What kind of religious leader goes around throwing stones and casting judgement like this? He called her horrific, horrifying, nauseating, and racist for having the audacity to vote against what this guy wanted. So now he’s taking his pulpit and he’s going home.

And how bout at the end there where he says “I’m a preacher, not a politician.” Dude, you just said you were going to use your “influence” to get rid of Konnie Lukes. You’re advocating for a political cause. Your wife is running for City Council. You’re like the definition of a politician. And you’re most definitely hiding behind the pulpit. You want us to listen to you and respect you because you call yourself a reverend. But the only difference between you, RBG, and Nathan Pickens is an Internet theology class. You’re not really a pastor and neither is Aaron Payson. You’re just a self indulgent, narcissistic ass clown who thinks his shit doesn’t stink.

All I know is that when the T&G switched from “anonymous” commentators to requiring facebook, they shot themselve’s in the foot. Traffic to the online site has plummeted, clicks and views have drastically decreases (along with advertising $$$, and layoffs will continue). Dummies …. they tried to silence conservatives & those on the right, and they basically they are crashing & burning.

I’m also ordained. It took, if I recall, about $50 and 10 minutes online. Reason I did it was there was a brief emergency and one of my best friends was getting married, and they thought the official wasn’t going to make it. Luckily everything worked out. Anyway, I DID IT ON A CELL PHONE IN THE PARKING LOT WITH A VISA CARD. These people are pathetic. Jesus would deliver an ass-beat if he stuck around instead of ascending.

I was ordained by the Universal Life Church. That means I’m just as much a reverend as these clowns. And I did it without shelling out for expensive theology lessons. So they’re not just crooks, they’re dumb crooks.

I bet Mikey Gaff is real proud to be associated with the fomenting of religious hatred. Let’s see how much he likes leaders from Worcester’s rich and diverse religious community asking him about it out on the campaign trail. I’ve already talked about it with the minister of my church about it, and she thinks it’s a fair point. You’ll be amazed by how connected the clergy are in this city. Ol’ Gaff’s going to be getting it day in and day out before you know it. It might be time to get yourself to confession again sometime soon Mikey. Yay know, cleanse yourself a little bit.

The UU isn’t a church. It is a cult. Ms Rivera isn’t a clergy person. She is a fraud with a phony diploma from a dollar-for-a-credential theology institute. The real clergy people in the city are not fooled by these absurd characters and they do not run in the same circles. If you rent a storefront for your church, you are not legit. If you turned your profile pic pink to support planned preganancy you are not a clergy person. You may be the leader of a cult but you are not on God’s team. He makes babies. He doesn’t like people to kill them.

Same old, “My religion is the one true religion” bullshit. Your just as much a fascist as any Muslim extremist. The UU church has far deeper roots in the history of this country than the Catholic church, which didn’t arrive in force until the Irish infestation began in the late 1800s.

The Muslims are far more respectable than any cult. Cults are legal in the U.S., just ask father Sarai Rivera.

I’m just mad Mike had my friends audited and their fraudulent activities have been uncovered. After the occupy movement distanced itself from me I was lonesome and vulnerable and Brenda and company took me in and brainwashed me. As you can see I have no thoughts of my own and continually just say whatever they tell me too. I’m truly a sad little man in need of attention.

It really is funny because they are people of color THEY ARE WHITE. Yes, believe it or not Pastor, you are white and your kids are white!! So cut the victim of race crap and go look it up. Hispanic is not a race….YOU ARE WHITE JUST LIKE MIKE GAFFNEY AND LUKES.

That night, in 2010, was the first time I had the “pleasure” of running into “Reverend” Sarai Rivera. I was in attendance to speak to the council about my disapproval of the resolution. I felt that it was not the cities business to meddle in the affairs of other states.

After the meeting, the people who were in favor of the resolution (which failed) were visibly upset, and causing a commotion in the hallway outside of council chambers. One of the leaders of this loud group was Sarai Rivera, dressed in a priests outfit.

Rivera loudly yelled in my face that I was a “racist” and a “white pig”. I laughed it off, chalking it up to someone being a sore loser, but never forgot the face of the woman dressed as a priest.

Several years later, I see the same woman – now she’s a city councilor. My point of the long story above is that this is the mentality that you are dealing with with her. She is immature, disrespectful of others who have differing opinions, and dishonest.

Lydia Yanis is a chaplain? Now that is funny stuff right there… I am a student in the International Chaplain Association, Inc. and it is one of the required readings for Lay Chaplain certificationa and credentials. Is there a mail-in program to become a cardinal? Or at least a Cubbie.

It’s time to bring in the big plunger to unclog the waste that pastor uu and his liberal yodel of a flock have wrought on the city. Good to know the UU liberal yodels don’t like Mike. That makes him that much more appealing.
