A story that has my attention today is a national story about missing 6 year old North Carolina boy Maddox Ritch. The autistic child disappeared while camping with his father Ian and Dad’s girlfriend, when he allegedly saw a jogger going by, began to run after the jogger, and was never seen again. The cops have drained the lake at the park, searched high and low, and still no sign of Maddox. Maddox’s father Ian Ritch is a suspect because how the hell does a 6 year old run away from a grown man? Plus, who would randomly kidnap and murder a child at a public park? And where is Maddox?

From the looks of Ian and his ex-wife’s Facebook page he appears to be a loving father:

The mother has been on TV bawling her eyes out. You can tell from the pain in her voice that she sounds like a mother who misses her child and has no clue where he is.

Now, I really want to believe that Ian had nothing to do with this. I can’t even fathom how anyone can harm their own child. But the fact of the matter is that the kid is 6 years old. He shouldn’t have been able to outrun his father. Maddox is autistic, not a stray dog. The child wouldn’t just run after a jogger and then disappear forever. And if he had displayed tendencies to run away like this before then Dad should’ve been prepared for it.

He’s also been posting a lot on Facebook:

“And just so you know I never received a dime for my interview.”

I’ve never been in a situation like this before, but I find it hard to imagine myself ever saying something like that if I legitimately didn’t know where my kid was. I mean, really? Your biggest concern right now is letting a bunch of strangers know that you weren’t paid for interviews? Why would that even cross your mind right now?

And his interviews are even shadier. Watch what happens when CBS’s David Begnaud prods  him by saying, “You’re a grown man, he’s a little boy. I don’t understand how he can outrun you.”

“He can run. He can run. And I couldn’t keep up with him. Not that fast.”

So…..he asked how it was possible for a six year old to outrun a grown man in the prime of his life, and his response was, “That boy sure is fast.” Oh yea, that clears things up.

He also admitted in that same interview that he’s been arrested for threats before:

“It was either he ran into the woods, or he was kidnapped.”

First of all, the woods at this park are not thick. If he ran into the woods Dad would’ve found him. And unless the Church of Mother of God is down there recruiting people in the Publix parking lot, I find it hard to believe he’s been kidnapped.

And although Maddox has been reported to be non-verbal autistic, I found this comment that Ian made on Facebook over four years ago which seemed odd:

So he used to talk when he was a toddler? Is that a thing? Kids speak when they’re younger and then don’t speak as they get older? Maybe someone with a non-verbal child could offer us some more insight on this.

Then he did this press conference today where he basically offered nothing new and rambled on for a few minutes about how he can’t sleep or eat…..

I’m not saying this guy killed his child, but he’s acting exactly like someone might act if they knew what happened to their missing child. He doesn’t cry. He doesn’t even come on the verge of crying. He barely seems upset, and when he talks about how he misses his boy it seems inauthentic.

Seriously, what was the point of that? Why would the cops drag him out for that interview? He added nothing of value, offered no new insight, and simply repeated his normal talking points. It reminded me a lot of an incident last year in Memphis. Tyler Tessier’s pregnant wife was missing and unbeknownst to him the cops considered him the primary suspect. In order to gather more evidence on him they just let him talk so that he could give himself enough rope to hang himself. Here he is at a press conference with the victim’s parents, who knew full well he was the primary suspect, babbling on just like Ian Ritch did in that video:

In my professional opinion as an Internet detective the cops in North Carolina were doing the same thing. Letting their primary suspect talk, and talk, and talk.

The same thing also happened last year when Jo Ringer was missing in Clarksburg MA, and her husband Chad Reidy did an interview on TV in which he couldn’t have acted shadier. He also had no idea that the cops were focusing on him as their primary suspect.

GILLIAN JONES — THE BERKSHIRE EAGLE Chad Reidy looks through an unfinished scrapbook made by his wife Joanne 'Jo' Ringer in their Clarksburg home which they have lived in together since October 2016. Ringer has been missing since March 2. Monday, March 27, 2017.

Or how bout this interview of Stuart Hazell, who at the time many believed killed his girlfriend’s granddaughter Tia Sharp in London. He gives himself away in this interview by speaking about her in the past tense:

I’m not saying that Ian Ritch killed his kid, but he’s exhibiting the same behaviors as these three murderers. The more these people talk, the more they give themselves away.

Let’s not gloss over the fact that Ian Ritch seems like he’s no stranger to a crackpipe. I could easily picture him and his unidentified new girlfriend being high as shit and having an accident with Maddox. Who knows what their motive could possibly be. Maybe it really was those crazy church human traffickers everyone’s running from at Target. My money’s on Dad though.

Not doubting, but am curious as to the source that the ‘unidentified friend’ is a girlfriend of the father…everywhere else that person is described as only ‘unidentified friend.’

I’m so glad to hear someone else feels the same way as I do! As soon as I heard this story, I called bullshit. As soon as they said the 6 year old child with severe autism ran away and the dad couldnt catch him, I called bullshit. BULLSHIT. Clear liar. The motive could be his child has severe autism and he cant handle it anymore? Either way, seems like he took him camping for this exact reason…so it would be much more believable than if they were just at home chillin…and a father who really lost his child would be seriously distraught, emotional, desperate…hes none of those things. It screams guilt!! They found the boys body today in a creek…let’s see how long it take for charges to come down and hes arrested. Few days?

    Another great white father.

      What’s the definition of confusion?

      Father’s Day in Harlem.

Speaking of fathers, how’s Egypt, Didi? Does she know who her dad is? When are you going to tell her she’s the bastard daughter of a homosexual thief? Maybe you’re sparing her that truth since she already obviously has a fat useless parasitic whore for white sympathy cash of a mother who is ugly enough to stop traffic.

White people own you, and you’re gleefully unaware of the fact. Dance, fat monkey. Here’s a nickel.

See, Didi, when you say stuff like “another great *white* father”, it discredits Black Lives Matter and basically everything about you. You made an unsolicited racist statement, and unfortunately for you, someone who is apparently a white person basically crushed you.

If you want to succeed at whatever it is you’re doing with your life, Didi, try not being a hypocrite. You’re not intelligent enough to pull it off, nor are you any good at masquerading as other people. You’d win a lot more sympathizers if you weren’t a total racist yourself. Since you are a racist, your only sympathizers on the white side are those who pathologically cast themselves as deserving of racism simply by virtue of the fact that they’re white, which ironically makes them… racist.

Well, no matter. When your white sympathizers’ therapy eventually yields results, you’ll be living in Pine Street Inn with your daughter since you don’t actually have any marketable skills, and even if you could almost be a lobbyist, you’ve said enough nasty stuff about white people that in this day and age of chickens coming home to roost for what people have said and done in the past (q.v. #MeToo), you’ll be publicly held accountable for every damning mean-spirited bigoted screenshotted Facebook and Twitter post you’ve ever made. You may want to learn how to cook fries and order a cash register to avoid eating from garbage cans.

Yes children with autism often can talk when young, then one day they just change… They stop talking, they slow down with development etc… My bf has a 13 yr old autistic son… That was how they found out he is autistic… Today he is mostly non verbal, i have seen people who suddenly become verbal again later on… There is alot to learn about this disability still.

Blaming the dad? You’re stooping pretty low here. I’m disappointed.

Haven’t any of you seen the movie “Forest Gump?” How the hell is dad supposed to keep up with an autistic kid? They just keep runin’ & runin’

Yes, sadly children with autism frequently loose skills. They tend to develop almost normally until age 2/3 and then typically regress.

I agree with everything else here though. Dude has a guilty sign on his forehead

This little boy has been gone way to long for the outcome to be anything but horrible. In my opinion Dad most likely had something to do with it. God forgive me if I’m wrong. When did Dad start chasing him? And is the child a Olympic runner? None of it makes sense. This little boy is gone and it’s fkn sad.

I hate to say it but the first thing I thought when I saw this dad being interviewed was how the heck can’t you outrun your six-year-old son? Other than that he just didn’t seem to be very upset about the whole thing.

It is common for kiddos with autism to speak and then lose language skills as they get older.

Hey douche… did you read the article? SSTG never once says she knows everything there is to know about autism. She even asks for more information from the readers. I don’t see anywhere in this blog where she is talking out of her ass about something she knows little about.

If the child was running after a jogger, why in the hell didn’t the dad yell at the jogger to stop running and help him catch his son? His girlfriend knows exactly what happened, as she’s the only other eyewitness. Have they pleaded with the person that was jogging (if there was one) to come forward?

Don’t be an idiot. That makes way too much sense. That is what normal people who don’t cover-up the death of their children would do.

Regarding Autism, some kids develop symptoms after a time, appearing developmentally healthy and sound up to that point.
Could be vaccinations or something else to trigger the disorder but the onset of behaviors and symptoms isn’t always from birth.
My guess is they’ll find the kid’s body and there will be blunt force trauma in evidence. The killing might be accidental or it could be dad flipping his wig and smacking the kid too hard or the kid falling and hitting his head on something.
Either way, dad panics and gets rid of the body while formulating a story.

Vaccinations, definitely. LOL More likely a deterioration of the gene pool.

It has been THOROUGHLY discredited that vaccinations result in autism!

Dr. Andrew Wakefield was discredited years ago, but thanks for playing, Hugh-Bo!
