The City of Worcester has been planning a major redevelopment in order to make downtown look less disgusting. They’ve mapped out a whole area that would be taken over by eminent domain, and part of that area contained a place where Worcester boys become Worcester men:

Ahhhh yes, good ol’ Sweaty Betty’s. It would be a damn shame if this Worcester landmark was forced to become some yuppy coffee shop. This place is the #1 employer for the Canterbury Street GED express.

It should be noted that none of these women will actually be competing for the “Best Damn Dancer,” as they are far too qualified to seek employment at Sweaty Betty’s. More than likely it will be that girl from fourth period who was absent 50 times a year and traded in her free lunch card for dime bags of shwag.

Luckily we saw this today:

Thank God they kept this Worcester icon AND that diner. Guidance counselors at North High School still have a plan B for that problem student who doesn’t look like they’re gonna be able to make up all those credits.

Fake tits and tattoos does not an attractive woman make. Not a good look for guys either…

Fake advertising about their workers and no tattoos does an attractive woman make. Not a good look for appearing honest for guys either..

What would we do without this bastion of refinement, a place where young women can go to make a decent wage, (one buck at a time), a place where thirsty young men can go to quench their thirst after a hard day! Just a wholesome neighborhood hangout, a place where “everybody knows your name”!!
