A couple months ago a Hampshire College student named Rody Lipson made the news when his feel good story about giving tiny homes to Syrian refugees caught the attention of Masslive:

Now, the 22-year-old Hampshire College design student, who says he’s always been interested “building stuff,” is at work on a house. A tiny house, that is, which he plans to donate to Syrian refugees when it’s finished. The house is Lipson’s senior thesis. He expects to complete the project by December, when he will graduate. Right now he’s about halfway done, and friends have been helping. He began framing the house this summer when he took a class at Yestermorrow, a school in New London, Connecticut that offers a program in tiny house design and construction. He recently moved the structure to campus, where he will continue to work away.

He needs money to finish and launched a fundraising campaign to help. He raised about $7,000 on one fundraiser, and an additional $3,466 toward a $12,000 goal on another.  So far, he spent $5,000 on the trailer for the house, $2,000 on materials and $2,000 for the class in Connecticut. And the cost doesn’t include his labor — hundreds of hours by the time he finishes the house. He used software to help design the house and plans to install a composting toilet, solar panels and a built-in kitchen table. Two lofts will offer space for a sleeping area and storage. At roughly 160 square feet — 230 including the loft space — the house is best suited for two people.  The house will have propane for cooking, heat and hot water.

He said he settled on donating the finished home to a Syrian refugee family as a way “to make a statement.”

“I believe that this donation will help send the message that America stands in solidarity with immigrants and refugees and that most of us are horrified by the racism and hate that have surged since Trump’s election,” he wrote on his fundraising website. He doesn’t know yet who will get the house but has been working with the Worcester-based Ascentria Care Alliance, which offers refugee and immigrant services, to find a family.

Here’s what he told the Hampshire Gazette: “I think it’s important for people in position of privilege who can help people to use that privilege to help people,” Lipson stated.

And according to Western, MA News he has raised well over $10,000.

This is the kind of student that the fake school known as Hampshire College produces. Search for “Hampshire College turtleboy sports” and read about the many amazing creatures we’ve blogged about out of the “college” that doesn’t give students grades because it will hurt their feelz. Jennie Chenkin, Trigglypuff, that weirdo Xavier, the idiots who burned the school’s American flag when Trump won. There’s so many of them.

First of all, as noble as this is, why not donate the house to an unemployed veteran? Why are these people in such a rush to help people from other countries when there are so many people in America that could use a helping hand?

Secondly, you think a Syrian refugee wants to live in a house the size of Turtleboy Jr’s bedroom? These people just escaped a war ravaged country. When they come here they need jobs and a support system. Syrian refugees don’t live in self-sustaining shacks in the middle of New Marlborough or Colrain. How are you gonna pretend that you care about immigrants when you’re donating them a shack in the woods that doesn’t have electricity and requires you to fill up a bucket with a hose outside in the middle of the winter – a season Syrians know literally nothing about?

Thirdly, I really hate anyone who wants to live in a tiny house. Call them what they are – trailer parks for hipsters. Trailer parks are actually much nicer than these. We get it, you’re hip and edgy, and you’re totally not living life the way the man wants you to. Congratulations. You’re still living in a trailer park.

Fourthly, where’s the house gonna go? Because I got news for you Rody – land costs money. And every single acre of land in this country is either privately or publicly owned. You can’t just plop one of these things down in the woods. You’re not Ralph Waldo Emerson. The Syrian refugees are gonna have to pay property taxes on it, AND they’re gonna have to buy the land it goes on, which is more than likely not possible for your average Syrian refugee. Glad you thought this one through though, because I’m sure it gives you the feelz to go back to Hampshire College and brag to your SJW friends about how you’re saving refugees from Trump.

Fifthly has anyone ever wasted more money than this lucky sperm’s parents? Everything he’s doing right now could’ve been learned in a trade school. Instead he’s wasting $50K a year for a worthless engineering degree from a school that doesn’t give grades. This is why politicians who say that everyone should go to college are doing a disservice to the next generation. Not everyone should go to college. This kid could make fine money on his own with a trade school degree selling these trailer parks to upper middle class hipsters, and not be sitting in $200,000 worth of debt.

Sixthly, this is bullshit:

“I think it’s important for people in position of privilege who can help people to use that privilege to help people,” Lipson stated.

In other words, he’s white privilege, therefore he needs to use his privilege to help Syrian refugees. Except he’s not donating any of his own money. He’s panhandling for it. Anyone can get generous with other people’s money. If you’re so privileged then have Daddy pay for it instead.

Anyway, since Rody Lipson is a millenial who needed cash the first thing he did was open up not one, but two online bootleg GoFundMe’s. Combined they’ve raised $11,000.

But here’s the thing. That top GFM (I call all online fundraising sites GFM because GFM is basically a verb at this point) features an image that is clearly NOT the house in the Youtube video. The bottom image is what the house actually looks like. And as it turns out this whole thing is just one gigantic scam. A turtle rider sent us this Craig’s List ad of a tiny house for sale that they found in Western MA:

Hmmm……a tiny house in Amherst being sold for $10,000. Let’s click on the contact section to see who the seller is…..

Oh look, it’s Rody Lipson.

The house for sale also just so happens to be an exact replica of the image in the GFM.

And just in case you had any doubts that it’s the exact same house, peep the background in this screenshot of him building it:

Look familiar?

Oh yea, it’s the exact same house. The same house he guilted people to donate over $11,000 to. And according to the Craig’s List ad, this lazy mother fucker is selling it because he was just too lazy to finish the job:

I recently built this tiny house shell on a brand new aluminum trailer with a GVW of 15,000 pounds. The tiny house is 8 feet wide, 20 feet long, and 13.5 feet high, giving plenty of space for multiple lofts. The framing was done with studs placed 16 inches on center. The siding is premium pine, the windows are Marvin, and the roof is aluminum. The frame is securely bolted to the trailer and the floor is insulated with spray foam. This is just the shell. The interior is just studs and sheathing. This would be a project for whoever buys it to finish, but it is a great start on a tiny house. I am trying to sell it quickly and therefore willing to sell it for no more than it cost to build. The trailer alone was close to $6,000. The entire project has cost around $10,000.

The entire project cost around $10,000? Yea dude, it didn’t actually cost you shit. You literally raised $11,000 in cold hard white guilt cash, and now you’re making bank off of it. I’m thinking all those people who donated will not be receiving a refund when some idiot finally buys this (although something tells me when he sees this blog the CL ad is gonna come down).

Oh, and those Marvin windows he mentions in the Craig’s List ad – in the video in this GFM he claims that they donated it to him.

Because there’s never been a better time for a SJW to capitalize off their white guilt friends than right now.

“The President’s racist and xenophobic thoughts towards immigrants and refugees do not reflect most Americans.”

It’s genius actually. Most people just yell “racism” because it makes them feel good to put other people down while putting themselves on moral high ground. But only the crafty ones find a way to capitalize off of the racism-industrial complex. If you’re whining about racism and you’re not running a fell good non-profit with lots of buzzwords in the name that gets government grants, or trying to sell diversity trainings to workplaces and schools, or selling black lives matter t-shirts, or running a scam like this, then you’re missing out on a golden opportunity. You just can’t be so obvious like this kid because Turtleboy’s gonna find you, and you’re gonna get exposed.

The best part is that he built this house and felt all warm and fuzzy. Then he realized he didn’t know any Syrian refugees and his plan was dumb and shortsighted. So he got bored with it and moved onto the next cause de jour. Here’s my question – did you think you weren’t gonna get caught Rody? You sought out the media, and your professors and other people helped you along the way. Don’t you think they wanted to see the actual imaginary Syrian family you were donating it to? Did you think they were just gonna forget about it after donating all that money and investing their time and energy into it? D+ GoFundMe scam at best.

I call BS! There’s a charity called Food for the Poor that builds small (not “tiny”) houses to replace the pathetic, leaky, rat-infested shacks that impoverished families in underdeveloped Western Hemisphere countries live in. The cost: $3000! Looks like this kid gets to line his pockets, coming and going. Nice work if you can get it.

Thinking it over and since he used particle board I will give him 5K. I kinda like the idea of getting this and relaxing at the campground knowing a bunch of dipshit hippies donated a lot of soybean and I took em for a ride. Hey kid give me a shout.

I’d give him up to 10K for it if he had used 3/8 light plywood instead of particle board.

I know this is a real abstract idea, but if this massive surge of “Racism” in Trump’s America is so prevalent, wouldn’t the best way to “Save the Syrian refugees” be to refuse citizenship or visas to them?

Also, you can’t just build a house. There are building codes that need to be adhered to and inspections, so on and so forth. I think its safe to say this moron has bit off quite a bit more than he can chew

Who the fuck would pay ten grand for a goddamn chicken coop? They sell those fucking things at Home Depot for like $1,200 bucks. What an asshole.
And he wanted the refugees to live in that thing? If anyone other than some liberal jackass from Hampshire proposed making refugees live in a fucking lawnmower shed, all the SJWs would be screaming about racism and taking the refugees’ dignity from them. But if a liberal has the idea, oh, well now that’s a GOOD plan!

Ok so um that trailer is actually located at Hampshire College. It’s right near Dakin “Dorms” or Mods or w.e. they call them. That gray building in the background is called something like “Ash house” or something.

I’m sure. I delivered pizza for the Old Cantones Pizza back in the 90s and must’ve went there 1000s of times.

As I see it, this little pot-head did not build a thing! The class framed his shack, the inside is completely unfinished, and the solar panels are still just a pipe-dream. Too bad he will not receive the F he deserves. Waste of 4 years…….

It’s commonly known that the characters from Scooby Doo are representative of the Amherst Area college: common-man Shaggy is UMass, affluent Fred is Amherst College, equally rich Daphne is Mt Holyoake, and the lesbianic Thelma is Smith.

Oh and Hampshire? Hampshire’s not a real college.

I agree, the hate and racism from the Progressive Left towards anyone not voting for Hillary Clinton leaves us all horrified.
