So as you probably already know by now Dzohkar “Jafar” Tsarnaev, AKA doosnozzle #2, was officially found guilty today on all 30 counts related to the Boston Marathon bombing. He is death penalty eligible.

Now I’m not normally a death penalty kind of guy, but has there ever been anyone who deserved it more than him? He deserves it just because he was too much of a va-jay-jay to go out in a blaze of glory like his idiot brother. Seriously, what kind of naniburger terrorist hides in a fucking boat and comes out with his hands up? If he wanted to die, I would say put him in jail forever. But since he clearly wanted to go on living, even after purposely making a choice to take the life of 8 year old Martin Richard, he needs to have his life taken from him.

Seriously though, he’s the one who blew up the second bomb, which to me makes him the worse of the two terrorists. When Timon the terrorist laid down his bomb at the finish line which killed Crystal Campbell and Lu Lingzi, those numbnuts terrorists had never seen firsthand what their bombs could do. At least if you were Timon’s lawyer you could argue that he didn’t realize the bombs would be that powerful.

But Jafar? He SAW EXACTLY what the first bomb did and he still laid his bomb down next to Martin Richard and his family 11 seconds later:

Jafar isn’t a real human being. He never was. Human beings don’t do that. He’s an animal, and a dangerous one, and he needs to be put down. Plain and simple.

I finished the marathon an hour and a half before the bombs went off, and I taped the finishing stretch on Boylston Street. It’s eerie looking at this photo from the clip of the location where Martin Richard and his family would be standing an hour and a half later:

When the first bomb went off we were eating in the Prudential Center Food Court, which overlooks the 26 mile mark:

Here’s what it looks like when you’re running by it on Marathon Monday:

While eating there we all heard the first one go off down the street and I immediately knew it was a bomb. The second one I saw with my own eyes. The food court turned into a mob scene as people were running around trying not to get blown up by the next bomb, which we all assumed would go off shortly. You don’t forget something like that.

This piece of human garbage took the one day in Boston where people of all shapes and sizes come out to support people they don’t know. It’s literally the most peaceful day of the year, and this asshole had to ruin it by killing an 8 year old. There will never be closure for April 15, 2013, but executing Jafar would be a good start. Personally, since this is such an important and symbolic execution, I think anyone who lost a limb that day should be able to stand on the Boston Marathon finish line and put this animal to sleep with a firing squad.

We, as humans, shouldn’t decide who lives and who dies. If someone does something tremendously viscous such as Tsarnaev, then sure, put him in prison for eternity.

If I were in the jury, voting for the death of a man seems just as inhumane as what Tsarnaev did. I wouldn’t want to be the reason a man is killed.

Killing him with a lethal injection right away is too nice. Put him in jail and let him suffer. Let the prisoners have their dirty little way with him, then see if he still wants to live.

I’d argue that Tim McVeigh deserved it more.

Regardless, I’m not a supporter of the death penalty, I’d rather see him rot in prison for the next ~60 years, because that’s a hell of a long time to think about what he’s done and be forgotten by the rest of the world. However, if they do decide to off him, I really won’t be that broken up about it.

A couple quick notes though. Normally, it’s more expensive to proceed with the death penalty from a taxpayer’s perspective, but since this moron is only 21 it might cost more to house him for the rest of his life. (Google it and check out the Forbes article on the cost of life in prison vs. the death penalty, that seems like the most reliable source on the first page of results.) If he were to stop appealing like McVeigh did, it’d be considerably cheaper to execute him than to house him even in general population. On the other hand, there’s also the question of whether he’d be made a martyr if he were executed; that’d be a great rallying point for Islamists and extremists from all walks of life, as well as the nutty tinfoil hat “it was a false-flag attack” types.

Just some food for thought. If you look at it from a purely logical and unemotional point of view, there are arguments to be made for both sides and it’s not nearly as cut-and-dry as Turtleboy puts forth.

We could use him to test new drugs. Why harm a perfectly good animal?

Not denying that he deserves the death penalty.

I feel that sentencing him to death could turn him into a martyr for terrorist causes.

Letting him live out his life for the rest of his life in a cell would probably result in him being forgotten by terrorists.

    Just my thoughts….

Screw ’em. Let him become a martyr. We can’t base our punishments on what the terrorists will do or what they want because that gives them power over our decisions. Can’t have that. Fry the piece of garbage and then fry his friends if they try anything.

In situations where the evidence is so overwhelming, im ok w the death penalty. This is one of those cases.

The evidence is there. Its so absolute that it cant be wrong. He even admits it. Now that Ive said that, I make motion to broadcast the execution LIVE in HD on PPV for $100. All procedes go to victims families.

This is a tricky one to judge in terms of penalty. Just know that it takes roughly around $26,000- $30,000 / year to house an inmate (average) circumstances, and that’s not even maximum security. That aside, how many tax dollars spent already on long trials where a verdict is already pretty understandable?

If ever someone deserved the death penalty it’s this guy. Cold and calculating. Can’t stop thinking about Martin Richard. Expect to hear many say that life in prison is worse. Bullshit. If true then all the lifers would be lining up begging to die.

No death penalty. Send him to jail and he’ll be put down a lot sooner.

The death row doesn’t do anything but letting him rot until his execution number is called. Deactivate this terrorist douchenozzle ASAP so the families of the victims can have closure.
