March Madness has been PHENOMENAL again this year, per usual. Well, except for the fact that every team we picked seems to lose. There were 3 teams from New England in the tournament – Providence, Northeastern, and Harvard. None of them won a game. The bottom line is people around here will never be really into the tournament until one of our teams can compete for at least a Sweet 16. And there’s only one team in New England that we can rally behind. The UMass. Unfortunately, as a diehard Minutemen fan I will be the first to admit that they blow. Luckily we have a plan for how they can regain their 1990’s legendary form once again, and we wrote about it in GoLocalWorcester today.

Anyway, Turtleboy T-Shirts go to the top 5 finishers overall in our bracket challenge, and the leader after Round 2. And apparently there was some misunderstanding when it comes to what “Round 2” is. I don’t give a shit what CBS, ESPN, or the NCAA calls it – the playin games are NOT Round 1. They are round Round 0. The teams who play in them ARE NOT IN the tournament yet.
