The hippies sent out an email memo the other day to the mainstream media in Worcester, informing them about some sort of protest they will be holding on Tuesday before the Worcester City Council meeting. It is symbolically being held the night before well known criminals Julius Jones, Kevin Ksen, Professor Sonya Conner, and Poet Laureate Robert Blackwell-Gibbs face a judge to answer for their reckless criminal behavior when they blockaded Kelley Square on January 21.

For obvious reasons they didn’t include Worcester’s most widely read source of news – Turtleboy Sports. They can count on the Telegram to simply report what happened, but they know better than to invite Turtleboy Sports representatives because they know we’ll report the bold and honest truth about their rally. Of course they don’t seem to understand yet that we have sources everywhere, and the email was immediately forwarded to us. Here it is in it’s entirety. The email is in italics, our responses are in bold:

Just an additional note to the information in the press release (attached and below) : while the start time for the event is listed as 6 p.m., we realistically expect that the official opening will probably happen closer to 6:20 to 6:30. Out of consideration for reporters who are covering the City Council meeting, we plan to start with a prepared statement and a chance for press to ask any questions. We hope to see you there!

Hey everyone, this is your chance. The Circlejerk has invited anyone who wants to come down and “ask any questions” to do so. Have you ever wanted to give these people a piece of your mind in a a polite and diplomatic manner? If so, here are some questions you could ask:

  • Why does your right to protest block my right to access roads I pay taxes for?
  • If you wanted to protest, why didn’t you do so legally by obtaining the necessary permits?
  • What time will you be protesting the senseless shooting of Boston Police Officer John Moynihan?
  • Why are you standing up for Kevin Ksen? At least the other three stood in the road and displayed their criminal behavior for the masses to see. Kevin Ksen stood on the sidelines and tried to hide.

And remember, these people stood in front of your cars on more than one occasion and took away your freedom to move freely. They have no problem yelling and disrupting your day. Feel free to yell and disrupt their press conference. As long as you end every sentence with “#blacklivesmatter” you can pretty much do anything you want.

White guilt on steroids. Not surprisingly her daughter Cara Berg Powers was the topic of an article we wrote last week, in which she said said the exact same thing about “color-blind.” Deb Powers is also a VERY GOOD friend with School Committee member Tracy Novick. They even have playful banter with each other on Facebook:

Tracy Novick is with the protesters. Don’t forget that in November.

The polar opposite of Deb Powers is Michael Jerry. He’s been keeping a low profile lately, ever since disrupting a January City Council meeting in which he ranted about how Worcester is a hot bed for white supremacy. Just a reminder, he is a man who the day after two NYPD officers were assassinated, said that he was surprised he wasn’t happy with this outcome:

Communities United Collective will host a rally in front of City Hall on Tuesday, April 14 at 6 p.m. The group, which has been a very visible part of the recent anti-racism and police accountability protests in Worcester, is calling on community activist groups to come together and speak out against attempts by the city to silence and intimidate protesters. The event will begin with a press conference and the reading of a statement by CUC about the city’s recent decision to bring charges against selected members after a January protest, and will include speakers from multiple Worcester organizations who stand in solidarity against any attempts to intimidate activists with official actions and criminal charges.

Oh I see. Enforcing the law is now known as “intimidation” in hippie circles. Hey here’s an idea. If you don’t wanna be “intimidated” try not breaking the law, genius.

On January 21, members of Communities United Collective and others engaged in a tightly organized demonstration in support of Black Lives Matter on Martin Luther King Day. The action blocked traffic in Kelley Square for precisely 4 and 1/2 minutes. The protest was well-organized and non-violent, with protesters at one point clearing the street, as planned, in order to allow an emergency vehicle to pass.

They “allowed an emergency vehicle to pass.” Well that’s awful charitable of them. Fuck everyone else though, am I right? Because they’ve clearly been appointed Kelley Square’s official bridge trolls. Let’s go to the tape and see whether or not these noble hippies impeded an emergency vehicle:

Here is the point when the hippies finally get out of the way:

Screen Shot 2015-04-13 at 12.36.13 AM

As you can see the hippies have clearly caused a significant backup in traffic far up Vernon Street. That ambulance could have easily gone right through Kelley Square without ANY delays, as it should have been able to, had the hippies not broken the law. But they did. So of course the ambulance was delayed as it tried to get around the hippie clusterfuck.

Now I have no idea who was in that ambulance and what their injuries were. But we actually care about whoever it was and want them to get the medical treatment they deserve as quickly as possible. The hippies clearly don’t give a fuck about whoever was in there, so long as they get to protest. This is why we fight at Turtleboy Sports. Because someone has to stand up to the bullies as they prevent sick people from getting to the hospital.

In response to that incident, the City of Worcester has issued summonses to protesters, threatened criminal charges against those who took part, and openly condemned those who participate in non-violent, open protest against city policies, as well as actions taken in support of the national Black Lives Matter movement. The rally, which is being held on the eve of a magistrate’s hearing against some of the protesters, will call on the city officials to reconsider filing criminal charges against those who engage in non-violent protest actions, and provide a platform for the many groups within Worcester who stand in support and solidarity with any protesters brought up on charges and facing intimidation.

Non-violent? LOL, that’s a good one. Speaking of non-violence and intimidation, remember this?

Hey City Council, anyone who tries to negotiate with these terrorists doesn’t get re-elected in November. That’s a Turtleboy guarantee. We’re watching what happens on Tuesday night.

CUC believes that the city is using these threatened charges as a platform to intimidate the protesters and silence the voices of protest in Worcester. The organization further believes that if the city is successful in pursuing charges, it will set a precedent to be used against other groups who dare to express dissent and disagreement with official policies.

No, no one is trying to silence you hippies. We all know that’s impossible. We would just prefer that if you hold a protest you either, a) obtain the necessary permits, or b) don’t stop innocent people from driving. You are right though, a precedent will be established. If you break our laws, you will face our justice. Fucked up right?

Communities United Collective is not intimidated and will not be silenced. The group is calling on other organizations and individuals who value their right to protest to join with them at City Hall, standing in solidarity against the suppression of protest, and in support of those who are facing intimidation through the threat of criminal charges.

What other organizations? It’s like, the same 20 numbnuts from the prize patrol every time. All you’re doing is creating a million different organizations full of the same people. You give them catchy, feel-good names like, “Communities United Collective,” “Mosaic Cultural Complex,” and “Coming Together Circlejerk,” but it’s all the same 20 people.

But seriously, this is your chance to disrupt them. They have no problem doing it to you.

Wow, I remember back when I lived down the street from Deb Powers and her many children in Main South when they lived on the corner of Hollywood and Woodland Street. Her little boys would frequently be dancing in the windows buck naked and waving at passerby or running around unsupervised causing trouble in the neighborhood. All the while, she was “working from home”, sitting on her computer, chain-smoking in a house full of young children. Being what seemed like a welfare mom who didn’t keep track of her kids and spent a lot of time not working I really value her opinions on society and how it should work. The only thing she has going for her is she is not some white privilege poster child. Wait, that means white privilege doesn’t exist for all of us so her mere existence disproves half of her points.

Anybody else get the sense that at least half the group regretted this decision pretty quickly? The half-ass singing and timid looks on some of those faces makes me all warm on my insides. Boom. Reality check, kiddos. …but who am I kidding. They’ll blindly follow this shit show on to the next round just to get the attention they need because their mommies didn’t hug them when they were babies.

I would love to read about how someone jumped on fat Ass’s car and screamed through his window then acted like he was above the law and offended that the cops pressed charges.

I would love to hear how the “protesters” where laughed at by observes that out numbered these hippy asshats 3 to 1.

Protesting to save the protesters? A little self serving dont you…. ohh wait…. Thats what theyve been doing this whole time. SELF SERVING ASSHOLES!!!!

Look how clueless these hippies are in that video. The hippie to the right totally forgot why he was there because he took too many magic mushrooms. Sonya Conner to the left is still trying to find a clue and jeopardizing what could be a great career in higher education because apparently if you have a Phd your not necessarily all that smart. The other hippie losers have not taking a shower in four months and they laugh on how stinky they are! And if you unlucky enough to catch a downwind in that area it probably smells like ass and feet.

Their self-promoting attention whoring…um…I mean “protest” was actually a form of kidnapping. They can be sued for damages by people who were detained.

Seriously. I wonder how awesome it would be if these folks had to defend against a few hundred private lawsuits that sought to attach their paychecks or put liens on their property.

    Actions have consequences.

The biggest misconception is that blocking streets is a “non violent protest”. Nope. If you’re illegally detaining people, thats a form of violence. I’m sure if you had stood on the sidewalk with a sign, nobody would have brought charges, but if you block streets and detain people, you deserve to be prosecuted. Also, what kind of sissies are these guys that they’re so lame they aren’t even willing to get arrested for their cause? You believe in it…but you don’t believe in it enough to face any consequences for your actions, whatsoever. Real brave.

Illegally detaining people…. Yes that’s an injustice. But that’s also what the police are doing in a lot of instances. It proves the point that a lot of people only care about injustice when it’s affects them. I personally don’t agree with holding up traffic but from what i’ve read they are ready to face the consequences of what they did. I still question the people behind Turtleboysports who hide behind anonymity and yet personally attacks those that have different views than them. And sometimes I agree with them. I just think it sets a bad precedent to take personal cheap shots but hide so they can’t be held to the same standards of criticism.

So you talk shit about TB being anonymous and yet you used a screen name instead of your full legal name. Sounds a lot like HYPOCRISY to me.

What are you talking about? William is my name. And it wasn’t talking crap it was legit criticism. Talking crap would be like ” oh Turtleboy is the suxors” but I said I agree with some of the things they say. You should try to re examine what was said.

Im not tryin to bust ur balls but lets not act like ‘William’ is putting yourself out there. “William” might as well be “Mike”. Its so vague its the same as “anonymous “

I understand. The difference between me and Turtleboy is they attack a lot of people. I just made a comment because I see that it’s a bit unfair. My name is William McNeill. I’m a Christian and I preach at Bay State Chapel in north Oxford Ma. Not that it means anything because I’m not politicking. I just made an observation. On a side note, Go Sox!
