What can we do to improve the Live show? I really enjoy doing this, but it obviously needs work. Keep in mind, resources are limited so we gotta get creative. But ultimately one of my goal is to do a Turtleboy show every morning for your commute on YouTube. Live broadcasts and podcasts are replacing the radio, and Turtleboy plans to be a part of it. Help us make the show better by sharing your ideas.

Also in this episode we discuss the dangers of online mobs destroying businesses like the Chinese restaurant in Haverhill, why I hated the first week of school when I was teaching, and Kamala Harris’ pathetic latest attempt to attract young voters.

You want an idea? Get rid of Brett. He’s entertaining and been around a LONG time, but he slows down the podcast especially when you’re interrogating a ratchet caller. The Lynda call would have been much better if he wasn’t on that. Sure he had a couple funny jokes, BUT he always slows the flow of any discussion. I like him, he’s a good dude, but PASS.

It was a great show last night! I am probably the minority, but I personally think you can get farther in accomplishing your goals and bring in more viewers without using the f word two or three times in every sentence. Another reason last night was great. I read the blog every chance I get during the day and always listen to your shows. I admit I listen with headphones because if my hubby heard all the swearing, he’d ask me why I listen. He would consider me to have a little more class than that. Last night, I could have listened in my car or without headphones! Thank you!!

Abrams is 10x more interesting than you.

    Deal with it.

I wish the podcast was more than twice a week. I read the blog since January 2015, but have drifted in and out of reading just due to not always being in front of a computer (not a fan of the site/app on mobile). Ever since the podcast became a thing, I became more interested and paid more attention to the blog. Originally I liked the blog because it was mostly Worcester news, but as the site expanded I read less. The podcast helped bring me back in to where I became reading it again weekly for the past 2 years. I like listening much more than reading, and I could listen while I worked/drove/around the house versus committing time to actually read. The podcast made me want to actually read the blogs more (now I “set aside time” to read the blog unlike before), so I would say I am probably in the minority who listened more than actually read, but now it is the opposite because the podcast leaves me craving more.

Basically what I am saying is: focus more on the podcast. You are very amusing and entertaining and I enjoy your blogs, but your way with words when you speak is where you really shine. My only real complaint about the podcast is audio/technical problems but I understand funds are limited so I bear with the flaws and enjoy the content. If you did a daily podcast, I think it could help grow the blog, but I am sure it is hard to manage everything especially with limited funds. You need local advertising with Worcester and I have been tempted to contact you multiple times about helping, but I don’t wanna fall short and waste your time. I know the blog has grown much bigger than just Worcester, but your core audience/loyalty will always be here and that’s why I think advertising is most obtainable and important here.
