Homeless Cambridge Blubber Guppy And MC Clam Hammer Con The Patch With Obvious Lie About Abused “Bullmastiff,” Make Over $2K On GoFundMe Scam

When the Patch isn’t blatantly ripping off our stories and passing it on as their own you can often find their “reporters” falling for some bullshit.

Jenna Fisher’s story was also picked up by MSN. Try to find all the obvious question marks.

A service dog named Oreo tried to protect his owner this weekend after the owner said a teenager pushed her Saturday. The dog grabbed the teen’s foot, bringing him to the ground, and in return, the teen and a friend kicked the dog repeatedly and so severely the dog now needs serious medical attention.  That’s according to the couple, who set up a GoFundMe fundraiser to help pay for the dog’s veterinarian bills.

“He’s not acting like himself, he’s not eating, and he twitches when I touch him in some places,” Alisha Candelora told Patch.

Stop right there. Service dogs don’t bite people. They’re trained for a long time, and it costs a lot of money. These slop donkeys say they got the dog for free from someone who was neglecting it. That’s now how service dogs work, and the Patch is doing an incredible disservice to the public by claiming it as such.

This is Alisha Candelora.

Somehow this homeless fribble dumpster manages to have an iPhone, a pet, a bad nicotine addiction, and more than enough food to slide down her gullet. She’s also got the “disease” that’s been going around, as can be seen from her Google trophies in Cambridge for possession of Class A (heroin).

The GoFundMe was started by her homeless MC Clam Slammer boyfriend Carl.

Cambridge police told Patch they’re aware of the assault and are working on making sure it’s documented. Candelora and her boyfriend Carl Diggs have been homeless on and off for the past five years sleeping on the streets and sometimes in hotels or a room here and there when they can.

They’ve collected well over $2,000 thanks to all the media attention this feel good story has received.

Except the reporter forgot to do one very simple thing – Google him. Had she done so she would’ve come across this….

Fancy that, he’s a drug dealer. And more than likely she gets free shit from him in exchange for back alley lap sandwiches.

He’s also started GoFundMe’s before for such worthy causes as “I’m mad cold”

And “Im-a get my crotch fruit back from the DCF fairy”

Their story for how they got the dog in the first place was rich.

Candelora, who struggles with depression, anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder, came to own Oreo about two years ago. She said she nursed the dog back to health after his previous owner neglected him, and Oreo has been her protector since. The dog is great with children and loves other dogs (as long as they’re neutered) and people, she said.

The reporter just takes this homeless GoFundMe queens word for it that she has PTSD, anxiety, and depression. That and the fact that this dog was allegedly neglected by a previous owner, so naturally the shelter wanted to provide a better home for the dog and thus they gave it to the homeless drug dealer and the clamhole that keeps him warm at night. The same woman who just posted a picture of a newborn poon polyp on March 31.

Where’s that baby at now? Who knows. It’s not the reporter’s job to ask questions.

So how did the dog get injured again?

But if there is an argument, or he senses she’s in danger, the dog will intervene. And that’s what happened Saturday near Harvard Square where you can usually find them sitting on a bench, she said. Candelora was in an argument with someone over $20 she and her boyfriend had borrowed to use to stay at a place where they could get a shower. As it escalated, the teen stepped forward, she said. Candelora warned him her dog would take that as a threat. But he appeared to disregard that and pushed her, she said. And that’s when the 115-pound Bullmastiff mix grabbed the shoe of the teen and wouldn’t let go.

Diggs said he believed the teens who kicked his girlfriend’s dog were also homeless and from a local youth shelter. Candelora immediately helped pry the dog off the teen, but as she was, the teen and another person kicked the dog in the head and the eye.

“His whole left side, jaw, eye cheek and ear all hurt,” Candelora said.

Just to review. Two homeless kids from “a local youth shelter,” that the reporter didn’t ask the name of, had $20 extra to spare, and instead of using it on themselves they decided to loan it to a homeless couple they don’t know. Then the “Bullmastiff” grabbed the homeless kid’s shoe and wouldn’t let go, so the homeless kids kicked the shit out of it. This is a Bullmastiff.

This is Oreo.

Oreo isn’t a Bullmastiff, she’s clearly a pitbull mix. Carl the homeless drug dealer has a pitbull (what are the odds?) and he knows that even mentioning that breed’s name will cost him GoFundMe cash. So he calls Oreo a Bullmastiff instead because he knows that the dumbass reporter who interviewed him wasn’t going to look into it.

What’s the money going towards?

Candlora and Diggs tried to take him to a vet in Allston, but no appointments were immediately available. They made an appointment for a visit this week, but they’re not sure they will be able to afford it.

They don’t even have a vet yet, and the reporter certainly didn’t bother asking the name of the vet they tried to make an appointment with. Too much work.

But the story changes on the GFM itself….

“We are homeless and struggling so we don’t have … much means to get around or anything so anything will help, we are pressing charges also to get him off the street from what he done to oreo,” Diggs wrote in the GoFundMe post.

They’re pressing charges? Against who? Five minutes ago they didn’t know the kid’s names. Name it’s “Kyle” and “Tye,” except the police haven’t filed any charges or arrested anyone.

Also, the dog ran away in November, probably because Oreo wants to live in a place with a roof, with people who don’t view her as a tool they can use to solicit cash from people.

Additionally, the teens who they don’t know the identities of keep coming around and harassing them after the fact.

Candlora said since the argument, they’ve put up a sign asking for help for the dog, but the teens have come by and harassed her and made threats about her dog, she said.

So please blindly give them your money, because the Patch is a trusted news outlet who would never share a GoFundMe scam because it tugs on the heart strings.

The couple are asking for $1,000 to help with the dog’s medical expenses. As of the first hour of posting the GoFundMe two people had donated $50 to the fund. Two hours later the couple raised $230.

“The GoFundMe is going to be used to cover any vet bills we have,” Candlora said. “Tomorrow we’re going to go get him checked out. Basically [we want to] try to get him inside and keep him safe until we can figure out something.”

Learn more about how to donate.

Apparently other people were skeptical too, which is why blubber guppy took to Facebook to let the world know that she don’t sell crack “ND” heroin in this legendary sentagraph.

She’s gonna show receipts from the hotel to prove that she didn’t spend all the money on crack ND heroin. That will prove that this wasn’t a scam.

Except there’s two problems here:

  1. I don’t see any pictures of any injured dog anywhere.
  2. If Oreo is injured, I’m willing to bet it was Carl who injured her on purpose for the GFM cash.

Again, that’s my opinion based on his past history and research I’ve done that the Patch couldn’t be bothered to do. They’ve made well over $2,000 so I’d say it’s worked out quite well for them.

For the finale blubber guppy posted this….

She broke up with him overnight and they’re closing the GoFundMe. The vet bills are all magically paid for and there’s money left over for the hotel room. Except the GoFundMe is still up, and this is yet another lie in a series of obvious lies that anyone with a brain could see coming from a mile away.

This is why the world needs Turtleboy. Without it this GFM would continue to go on and the money would all go right to drugs. I’m glad she is concerned about her dog’s health… while she blows smoke from 2 packs of Newports a day at him.

      Hey CrispyC,
Is it illegal to smoke cigarettes?
Have you ever been homeless? What do you know about being homeless?

You can change a down vote to a up vote by pressing the thumbs up button a few times maybe like 4,5 and it will change your vote. It’s happened to me a few times too. Just wanted figured I’d share that with ya

        July 3, 2019 at 1:37 pm

What does any of that have to do with what crispy said. If you concerned with the animals health, it’s probably a bad idea to be smoking and blowing second hand smoke near the dog. Just because it is a dog does not mean it can’t get cancer from second hand smoke. It’s been proven that a lot of animals have gotten cancer that way. And the homeless issue. Why is she really homeless, let’s play this game. Why is she homeless? Do you know why? I do. And if you actually know her, you would know it is her fault. Keep going with the victim shit. Ya I feel bad for homeless vets who can’t get help cause they are over looked because of junkie mothers who sit in shelters till they get a free house, then they end up loosing their children and still get to keep the section8/housing which is something that needs to change ASAP. And to actually be kicked out of housing/section 8, is hard. So when you loose it, you did something pretty bad. Or couldn’t pay that 300$ a month rent for that 3 bedroom house with the big back yard. And you gotta miss a lot of months rent before that even happens. People work two jobs to have apartments and yet this is what she had. So her being homeless is on her. And everything crispy said is right.

OK. My turn. I’ll answer your relevant question bluntly.

No I’ve never been homeless. So obviously I don’t know what it’s like. When I was in college a few hippies did some sort of live-in-a-tent project to pretend to know what it’s like (for a few days!!). I wasn’t one of them. I’d imagine it sucks. I’d also imagine you have to make a lot of bad choices to end up there; I understand there are other circumstances into this situation while also acknowledging there are ways out of that situation. When you’re homeless you were handed lemons at some point and decided to throw them away and piss in a bottle rather than make lemonade. It is what it is. Either way, I’ve been running and gunning since I was a kid making the grades to get into a great university, taking out loans to go there + 4 more years of hard work there, and almost 20 years of hard work at a great but demanding job while paying off those loans and all of the other shit I’ve piled onto my plate, including years of volunteer service for a local youth group. I haven’t had 3 consecutive weeks off of any work in 25 fucking years. So spare me the “have you ever been homeless” shit. Have you ever worked non-stop for 25 years?

I want to be clear on this. People that cannot provide a good home for pets or children shouldn’t have them. Period. I don’t give a fuck if a dog helps you with your heeby jeebys; if you can’t give it a good home and live on the streets, you find a stuffed fucking animal at 50% off in a CVS the day after Easter or Valentine’s Day to help you with your problems and pretend it’s real.

Bull$#|+, I’d say CrispyC was handed a lemon of response and made a freakin’ lemon meringue pie. Fat, dumb, stupid, making duck lips, homeless and getting high is no way to go through life. Wasting hard-“earned” cash on ciggies and weed is smart. Not. “Best life ever.”
And that dog is a pit bull/ lab mix, and sure doesn’t weigh any 115, from those pics.

You guys need to start being respectful to people that have less than you. Carl Diggs is my brother and Alisha is my sister (in law). They are actually struggling and have been homeless for some time now. I mean no disrespect because everyone can have their own opinions but Carl and Alisha are still humans guys. Let’s remember that.

  • What that dog would tell, if he could talk.
    July 3, 2019 at 9:44 am

Perfect idea, if she can’t put a roof over that dog and take care of it the right way, it should be given to a family that can. When you yourself are homeless that means you can not take care of yourself. If you could you would not be homeless. That dog shouldn’t have to be the pawn for the go fund me scams and shouldn’t have to suffer while you get high. The dog would be so much happier living with a family then living in the streets with this pus bag. Why else would it have run away? Keeping this animal is cruel. If she really loved it she would give that animal home.

      Massholio,
They’d paid the money back a longtime ago. The 2 kids have been going around doing the same thing to other homeless people in Harvard Square, that they did to Carl, Alisha, and Oreo.
Tyrique Simmons, who’s 1 of the 2, is in the country on a green card from Hondouras, collecting benefits, getting some sort of housing assistance and goes around robbing homeless people with Kyle Harrington.

Turtlebabe, one request and I think this is only fair. The baby was given up for adoption. I know that and I’m your source if you want to chat offline.
I think it would only be decent of you to remove that photo.
Yep, there is a history of google trophies, but the dog was legitimately attacked by two “ men” from the Y2Y shelter in Cambridge. These punks have a documented history of harassing the homeless in the Square.
Now, yes, there are a lot of homeless in HS. A lot with criminal backgrounds and drug use. But I do know two people who work as advocates in HS to get these people off the streets into shelters, hopefully clean and sober and functioning as human beings again.
My opinion is (as sometimes happens on this website) is you jumped the gun and took the cruel route.
These people are on the same level as those that would have been employed at “Hugs and Yums” in Middleboro.
While you’ve stated some facts, they’re not entirely accurate.
Oreo is a comfort dog. He WAS kicked in the head. He did go to the vet and the money did go for that purpose.
Considered stepping back from name calling and finger pointing on this one. Be decent for once.

      Comfort dog? STFU

      • Bucky the comfort beaver
        July 3, 2019 at 2:43 am

STFU yourself. I have an animal trained as a comfort animal. It goes to nursing homes with me and visits dementia patients. Sometimes they get agitated during the day and getting to touch and pet an animal that has been trained to stay calm and trusting is a godsend. That what comfort animals are. Handicapped, autistic, people with PTSD, people suffering from traumatic injuries use them. They visit schools after mass shootings.
        What’s you’re beef. You’re beaver not trained?

Those homeless addicts don’t have a service dog. It’s something every attention seeking asshat claims to have. Service dogs are $$$$ and take years to train. They have a pet.

A comfort dog aka emotional support animal can be almost any animal – dog, cat, horses etc. They can have training or not. Doesn’t matter.

All you need is a note from a psych provider, and poof – your animal is a comfort animal.

The only thing it does for you is to prevent a landlord from refusing you because of the dog, or charging you more because of the dog.

Sometimes it’s hard to know the difference between comfort, therapy or service dogs.

Service dogs are highly, highly trained dogs that perform specific services for their owner) and can go anywhere with their owner – stores, restaurants, movie theatres, etc.

Comfort dogs do not have that privilege and accompanying ADA protections.

Then there are therapy dogs. Also well trained, but not as much as service dogs. They go into nursing homes, hospitals, libraries, schools etc. they may work in an area of crisis. They provide cheer to others.
