Hey fam – if you’d like to support Turtleboy and what we do here, feel free to hit the donate button at the top. We basically have to run this site like a Bernie Sanders campaign now since we’ve been blacklisted by Google and Facebook, due to the fact that rabid SJWs keep reporting our posts. Getting blacklisted by Google is a death sentence for most websites, since it’s much harder to monetize. And we all know the damage Facebook has done. We’re never going to stop fighting for free speech, but in the meantime the best way for turtle riders to fight back is to donate to the cause. Without you people none of this is possible. We love you all.

This is Adam Haddad, owner of Accurate Collision in Worcester:

You may notice he’s dressed like a doctor. For some reason this is what he does in his Youtube commercials that 200 people have watched over the course of five years:

“Doctor” Adam Haddad. Nuff said.

Driving by Accurate’s shop the other day on 146, across the road from Walmart, a turtle rider noticed this in the window and sent it to us:

Seized for nonpayment of taxes. So we called them up to see what that was all about and the gentleman who answered the phone told us it was something about a gas leak, which they got fixed, and now they were back up in business. Even though it clearly says nonpayment of taxes. Sure thing.

Here’s the thing though – Adam Haddad is one of the most notoriously shady businessmen in Worcester. Tow companies will often not take checks from him and require cash only transactions. He’s also no stranger to the courts. In 2014 Sherwin Williams sued him for $100,000 after he took out a loan for $175,000, which they covered, and only paid back $75,000 of it. Additionally, he agreed to only use Sherwin-Williams paint in his garage, and in doing so was given a substantial 20-30% discount from the supplier:

Oops!!

But yet he’s still in business.

He’s also got a terrible reputation with insurance appraisers. If you recall last year we did a multi-part investigative series that exposed a car insurance scam ring involving Central Auto Body on Park Ave, Pat’s Towing, and some local derelicts who they hired to crash cars on snowy days. Central’s owner Mike Sweeney was notorious for doing extra work that wasn’t needed, overcharging insurance companies, and even using threats and intimidation to get appraisers to pay him more money.

Well, turns out there’s a lot of that going around the city, as Adam Haddad has done the exact same thing. Documents show that Haddad was “physically aggressive and verbally abusive” to Hanover Insurance appraisers in order to get them to agree to pay out more money for questionable and even fraudulent repairs:

Some of the cars he wanted to fix did not have damage that was consistent with accident reports, and when questioned about this he got aggressive and agitated with the appraisers, who were there to do their job:

Haddad allegedly physically pushed the appraiser, and threatened him with some wannabe mafioso tough guy talk:

This is the Haddad family:

As you can see, they buy their clothes at the same place as the Stanley brother gypsy church originally from Uxbridge. And they’re going for the whole, “Bro, I know mad people who could make you disappear” look in order to intimidate insurance appraisers. So scared.

His brother Alexander Haddad, whose reputation is even slimier than Adam’s, owns Harris Auto Body on Park Ave, a former Turtleboy advertiser years ago which sources tell us is under investigation as well.

Keep in mind, insurance appraisers are on our side. If they let people like this overcharge them for fraudulent damages the insurance companies will just increase premiums for the rest of us.

Accurate Collision has even gone so far to accept payment from Hanover Insurance for vehicles already appraised for damages, only to “find” newly discovered damages that they put there, demand Hanover appraise it again, and then throw the appraisers out when the questioned the shadiness of it all:

It got to the point where appraisers no longer felt comfortable in his shop. So Adam made a deal with Hanover that he would meet their appraisers outside on the street with the car because the appraisers no longer felt safe inside. Shockingly this hummus hardo never lived up to his end of the deal, and had his goons surround an appraiser and frequently interfere with him while he was doing his job:

He did it to both male and female appraisers, likely because he’s a feminist who believes in equality of mistreatment:

Because of this the appraiser’s manager is required to go to the shop with them, but even he has been turned away at the door in violation of their agreement:

Then in September of 2014 the appraiser’s manager himself was assaulted while doing his job at Accurate Collision:

Oh, and it’s not the only Insurance company they’ve done this too. Just last month Commerce Insurance took them to court for fraud:

And less than a month ago Alexander, Adam, and their father Doug were ordered to stay at least 25-50 yards away from all Commerce employees and five Commerce offices:

Oh, and Citizen’s Insurance Company of America also filed a complaint about him that has yet to be litigated:

Adam Haddad also owns a shop in Everett, which appears to be under the blanket company of ADH Collision of Boston. Plymouth Rock Assurance filed a complaint against them for fraud last year:

So basically these guys are your classic Worcester tough guys, who think they’re living in a 1970’s Jersey City mob movie. They notoriously screw over customers and insurance companies, and use their greasy tough guy schtick in order to scare people away. And it works because Adam lives in this 4,000 square foot Shrewsbury House, whose value teeters around $1 million.

But wait, it gets better. Adam Haddad has a never ending list of former customers who have nothing but bad things to say about him. Here’s what one person told us:

I was at Green Hill Park with my family looking at the animals and came back to find my SUV we had just purchased for 20k-ish had been keyed on the driver’s side door.  I filed an insurance claim and was “awarded” $4063.54 to fix this. I went to the first place on the list my insurance listed, which was Accurate Collision. I talked to Adam and I told him I don’t have $500 to cover my deductible because I was going through a tough time.  Adam said that he would do the job for that and take care of my deductible. Until it was fixed I was in a rental car and around the 20th day I drove by his place and saw my vehicle outside in the rain completely torn apart, no doors, no nothing. I called and asked when it would be done and why it’s outside and he told me if I have an issue to grab a tissue.

After 20 days he put in an additional supplement for $6,245.40 for new problems he suddenly with the car.

I told him I’d have a tow truck come bring it somewhere else if he was too busy because the rental company wanted the car back and I had no other transportation. He said he would pay for it. Day 30 came and the rental company made me bring the car back, and he refused to pay for it. I asked him when he would be done and he flipped out on me and hung up.

After the second supplement he added a third supplement for $10,750.76, which insurance paid.

Around day 45 I got a call from my lender stating that Adam called them and told them I refused to pick my vehicle up and that they had to come down with a check for $10K. I was concerned and called Adam asked why he did this, and he said that my vehicle was done, but the remaining balance was 12k. I said what?!?!? He said he charges above and beyond labor rates from what the insurance company pays and he charges storage.

I called my insurance company as I was concerned of a mistake, and they told me they have paid him 2 other supplements for more than $21,559.70, on a vehicle I paid $20k for just 2 months ago and had not driven more than 500 miles on it. He was paid 21k to fix a key mark and wanted another 12k from me to pick it up. That’s a $27,759.70 scam. As I could not afford that my lender (workers credit union) picked it up and paid the difference and counted this as a repossession on my record. The IFB, WPD,  and MSP all claimed they have watched him for years along with his brother and father (Harris autobody and Haddad auto detail) but they operate on a very gray line. Eventually Worker’s Credit Union settled with him for $6,200.

After this happened to me I tried to buy another car and every place I went I told my story as I had to explain a repo on my record and they all said he is known for this.

This directly corroborates what the insurance companies have accused him of with fraud. He overcharges both customers and insurance companies.

Others have told us that they did the same thing by holding onto their cars, jacking up the price they couldn’t afford to pay, and then rented the cars out to rental car places. They’ve told us that the mileage on their cars has been 5-10K miles more than when they dropped it off, but since they did not take a picture or document the mileage when they dropped their cars off (who would do think to do that?) they can’t nail him on it.

Then there’s the never ending sea of negative online reviews:

Something tells me that by writing this blog we are opening up a Pandora’s box for people to email turtleboysports@gmail.com with their stories. I have a feeling this will be a multi-part series. Just sayin.

All this talk is really entertaining, but I have a question: WHAT THE FUCK TOOK THE AUTHORITIES OVER 20 YEARS TO GET THE JOB DONE??? And then a measley 170k in fraud allegations?? what a fuckin joke!! The actual number is likely 100 times that. Been under investigation for a few years is laughable, more like 20 years, and then some. other shop owners who have committed fraud, been caught, and incarcerated, were doing baby shit, compared to what this guy has been up to. I am glad its over for him,but incensed at the amount of time it took, and the actual amount of money he has stolen, and countless lives disrupted,by his tactics.

I can’t tell from the building but accurate might be where I knew haddads details to be. I’m not sure tho. It was right at the beginning of 146 where they screwed up the road to Kelly square I think.

This is great. 30+ yrs ago I worked for thrifty care rental on park ave and we did insurance rentals and Harris auto and haddad detailing were both some shady account.
The store front of the auto body was smashed at least twice because I saw it both times on my way past in the morning. There are a couple others places in Worcester that are all tied in.
    Too funny.

While I don’t disagree with the opinion of this guy haddad being a piece of shit, I do find fault with using online reviews with such atrocious misspelling of words that it looks like a 3rd grade educated meth head wrote, as proof to prove your point. Secondly, as mentioned in some of these reviews, if my car was parked in front of their place with no action being taken, then I would have gone and picked it up using my spare set of keys and taken it to another body shop and call the insurance company and tell them whats going on. Third, if i’m having any type of service being done, wether its home related, car related, etc i do read online reviews to get others opinions. I take them with a grain of salt but if there are many fraud related type of reviews then red flags go off and i start to search for other companies. Lastly, why the fuck would someone trust a middle eastern sounding name and looking like to perform any type of of service for them? Thats only asking for trouble.

Wait a minute… the first “witness” had their car “keyed” on a door and it ended up costing $21k+?
The Fuq? I had a shopping cart flying down the parking lot scrape my entire drivers door, and put a pretty decent crease / dent in it. Sunnyside Ford had my car for 4 days. They fixed the dent, painted the door, and blended the paint to the front fender & rear door so you won’t notice the repair on my hard-to-match metallic red Taurus. $580.

As a former insurance adjuster I have had the pleasure of speaking to this fraud. Would ask to come pick up checks rather than mail them like we did with everyone else. We assumed he cashed them to spend on blow.
