Quick background story. This Turtleboy was at the Boston Marathon in 2013. Had a friend running in the race for the first time and he’s pretty fast, so I took the train into Newton and walked up to Heartbreak Hill. I waited until I saw him, jumped into the race, and ran him in the rest of the way. After that we got food at the Prudential Center food courts overlooking mile 26 on Boylston Street. I heard the first bomb go off and was the only one in the place who thought something was wrong. It was pretty loud, but it happened closer to the finish line so people didn’t really react, but we all heard it.

The second bomb, left by Jafar the terrorist, exploded right outside of the food court. Saw the flash, saw the smoke. It was by far the loudest thing I’ve ever heard in my life. The food court turned into anarchy. Everyone was running and flipping tables not knowing where the next bomb would go off. Went outside to see what the hell had happened and it was absolute chaos. Saw people lying there, saw cops and EMT’s running around not knowing what was going on. Cops told me to get out of there and stay away from the trash cans because they thought the bombs were put in there. We walked a few miles into Roxbury until we had cell phone service, called for a ride, and got the hell out of there. It was obviously a day I’ll never forget.

I bring this up because of this:

If Mark Wahlberg is doing a movie about the Marathon bombing, then you know it’s gonna be dominant. He’s one of us, he understands how insane that day was, and he is sympathetic towards the victims. He will make this movie the right way and I can’t wait to see this movie. You just know it’s going to be riveting.

With that being said, one of the things I hated about the post-marathon bombings were all the people who were babbling on about “Boston Strong,” and milking it because they are self-absorbed attention whores. Were we strong in the immediate afterwards? Sure, I guess. We did what any normal city would do – helped the cops as they searched for the terrorists and went on with our lives. There was nothing uniquely special about this. If the bombs had gone off in LA it would be LA Strong. I mean, what alternative did we have? Were we supposed to hide in our bunkers? We didn’t do anything special in the immediate aftermath. Jeff Bauman and other people who lost limbs and fought to be able to walk again, those are the people who are strong. The rest of us aren’t strong, we’re just lucky we weren’t standing there when the bombs went off. Boston Strong was just a slogan that people used to sell t-shirts. As Bostonians, we are not special.

Screen Shot 2015-12-28 at 1.20.12 PM

Anyway, I bring this up because some Bostonians think that they have some sort of ownership over this senseless tragedy and are acting like they’re morally superior on the Facebook machine:

Screen Shot 2016-03-06 at 2.52.52 PM

Giving the terrorists attention? I guess that means we shouldn’t make movies about Pearl Harbor or the Holocaust then. That would be giving the Nazis and Japanese attention. And who cares that Hollywood is making money off this? No one had a problem when Boston Strong shirts were flying off the shelves. You’re also kidding yourself if you don’t think Marky Mark is gonna make a real nice donation to the victims families after this movie kills it at the box office.

Screen Shot 2016-03-06 at 2.53.18 PM

OK, then don’t see it then. Problem solved.

Boston and runners are still healing? Are you kidding me? What does that even mean? What makes you think you can speak for everyone who was there that day? See this is what I’m talking about – everyone wants to play the victim. The only people who are still healing are the people who lost loved ones or limbs on that day. So yea, if Martin Richard’s family has a problem with this movie, I get that. But we don’t need the peanut gallery to speak for the rest of us who were there and have zero issue with this movie being made.

Screen Shot 2016-03-06 at 2.54.41 PM

How is this putting the victims families through pain? When they made United 93 the producers did a special screening for the families first. They all left the theater crying because it was so real. Not one of them had a problem with it being made. Did it hurt for them to watch it? Of course. But they all wanted to see it because it was a final and lasting tribute to people they loved.

Screen Shot 2016-03-06 at 2.56.29 PM

You weren’t there but you don’t think they should make a movie about? Yea, that makes TONS of sense. Take it from someone who was there, most people have zero problem with this. I wasn’t at Omaha Beach but I still think Saving Private Ryan is one of the greatest movies of all time.

Screen Shot 2016-03-06 at 2.56.44 PM

Oh get over yourself. You were on the train home when the bombs went off? That must’ve been so hard for you!!! And you had to seek therapy afterwards? You poor baby!! This is what I’m talking about when I say that “Boston Strong” is bullshit. How is this person strong? She had to get therapy to recover from an event that they watched unfold on the news from the comfort of their home, and now she needs a safe space from a movie that she can voluntarily choose not to see. That’s like the exact opposite of what strong means.

Screen Shot 2016-03-06 at 2.57.01 PM

Oh you’re a Bostonian? And you know Boston cops and first responders? Quick, someone call Mark Wahlberg up and let him know that this movie can’t be made. After all, there’s someone out there who knows Boston cops.

Screen Shot 2016-03-06 at 2.58.15 PM

Newsflash – Mark Wahlberg is making this movie in order to make people sympathize with the victims. What do you think this is? A tribute to Jafar and Timon?

Screen Shot 2015-12-01 at 10.29.56 AM

Screen Shot 2016-03-06 at 2.57.17 PM

If the city of Watertown let Marky Mark shoot there it would make the movie even better. The Watertown Police were heroes and should be honored as such. Plus, this is where Timon the terrorist was killed. It’s a scene we should all be celebrating. I want them to shoot at UMass-Dartmouth too. I want to see how dark and evil Jafar is and how he was enjoying the fruits of American freedom while secretly plotting to destroy us. It will make me hate him even more.

Then there’s this poopsmooch:

Screen Shot 2016-03-06 at 2.55.30 PM

Oh for fuck’s sake. Now we’re “no better” than the terrorists if we wanna watch this movie? Because some self righteous dooshnozzle on the Internet says so?

I just hate this shit. I hate how SOME Bostonians milked the sympathy for so long and are continuing to do so by playing the victim. I can’t wait to see what Marky Mark does with this movie and I don’t fault anyone who signs up to be an extra. The purpose of this movie will be to pay tribute to the first responders who did God’s work on that day, and the victims who overcame the insurmountable and gave the terrorists a big “fuck you” by recovering from their wounds and continuing on with their lives.

Ya know why this movie is necessary? Because up until this point the mainstream media has been trying to make you sympathize with the terrorists. The Boston Globe SHAMEFULLY has not taken down this FILTHY column written by the world’s biggest asshole, Cambridge’s Gish Jen, who blamed society for “failing the Tsarnaevs. Shortly afterwards Rolling Stone put Jafar on their cover and made him look like a rock star. I don’t see these social justice warriors bitching about that, but I do see them whining about a movie that will focus on the RIGHT people.

Seriously, get over yourselves.

This movie will obviously be aimed at pointing out which men and women, many of whom were regular people or first responders, and especially the victims, who truly were on that day, and have been ever since, BOSTON STRONG! Are the emotional wounds still present with the victims and their families? I can only imagine. But this is a way to show the heroic and life-saving efforts of everyone involved on that fateful day, and the subsequent manhunt for the two savages responsible! And maybe they might even paint the law enforcement personnel, most of whom were directly responsible for keeping Watertown and surrounding communities safe in a positive light! Instead of complaining about a militarized police force! While watching the events unfold on television, I remember thinking, I hope we would have the same display of bravery and dedication in Worcester!

These self congratulatory windbags never cease to amaze me. What did they do during the manhunt? Hid under their beds.

You know who the only ordinary citizens were that helped the cops catch that mass murdering scumbag? The kids working at Dunkin Donuts shops in the Watertown area who were the only businesses open and fed the cops and gave them coffee. For free. All day. You don’t see them whining on the Internet, many they actually helped the cops.

Don’t even get me started on the ordinary citizens that ran into the chaos to care for bleeding victims I fully expect that the film will feature those brave people. That’s who was Boston Strong.

As soon as I saw a movie was being made about the bombing, I knew it would bring out the Professional Victim Brigade and the Safe Space Squad. Don’t they have some tiny sombreros to protest?

Because the turds from the third world who brought you these bombings are the OPPOSITE of God (Capital G) , poop. (Appropriate name)

You do realize these two “gods” you are talking about are the same thing. They are both the “god” of the old testament. If “god” wasn’t a thing then none of this would happen. Also they were not doing “god’s” work. They were doing something they have been training and working I would assume their whole career, being first responders and what not. Giving “god” the credit takes away from what they were doing.

God of the Koran and God of the New Testament are very different.

Driving a Prius with a coexist sticker on it doesnt make you a theologian, just a self-loathing turd.

Are you implying that the god of the old testament and the god of the new testament are not one in the same. I’m not trying to be a theologian but the god of the old testament is the same in all three Abrahamic religions. All three consider the old testament to be a holy book.

Heck there is also a movie about Jeff Bauman being made. If HE thinks these movies are fine, I have no idea why a non-victim woukd care so much.

I want to puke every time I see a Boston strong shirt or hat. They were far from strong, sheltering in place. If they were strong they would have been out helping.

This needs to be made and told right – with the truth behind it. That these suckers want to kill us in no uncertain terms. It needs to be told that the whole loser family was here scamming hardworking Americans, all on welfare, all drug dealers and shoplifters, getting a free college education. Thsee FACTS need to be told because the Deval Patrick sniveling narrative of “we don’t know what these two fellas motivation was” is already out there. The TRUTH needs to be told and seen by America.
