I can’t stop looking at this picture taken from the Cleveland Indians home game and laughing.

This is why you can’t have nice things Cleveland. Like LeBron James. And jobs.

Easily the most awkward picture you will ever see in your life. The guy dressed as Indians mascot Chief Wahoo clearly has realized at the exact moment this picture was snapped, that he just made a really, really poor decision. The Native American dude looks about as amused as the Japanese business executives who told George Costanza, “You must go now,” after trying to impress him with the fact that Jerry was on the Super Terrific Happy Hour:

Either way, I kind of feel for the the white guy in red face. He lives in Cleveland. He has to root for the finest teams Cleveland has to offer – the Indians, Browns, and Cavs. At least they don’t have a hockey team, so they can pull for the Columbus Blue Jackets, who apparently could make the playoffs this year. Either way, I still can’t believe the Indians never won a World Series in the 90’s and apparently this guy can’t either. Those teams they had with Albert Belle, Carlos Baerga, Kenny Lofton, Omar Vizquel, Jim Thome, and of course Manny Ramirez, were simply the most stacked lineups you will ever see assembled on a baseball field. How come they didn’t win then? Because their pitching was led by the guy who this idiot has spray painted on his left arm – Charles Freaking Nagy.

So the white guy loses here because he looks like an asshat. The Native American dude loses because his entire heritage is once again being mocked. And of course they both lose collectively because they have to live in Cleveland. Meanwhile in Boston we’re all parading our trophies around and celebrating yet ANOTHER world championship. This is why they hate us people. Because they wanna be us more then you can possibly imagine.

And where is the other World Series trophy? Did Larry Lucchino allow Vlad Putin to look at it for a minute?

Yeah make fun of Cleveland while you live in Worcester. There may not be many nice things in Cleveland, or many jobs, but you’re from Worcester. There’s not much of an economy to speak of there either and there certainly aren’t nice things. Fact: regardless of their success Cleveland has teams in 3 of the 4 major sports and is a place everyone in America knows. Worcester has Holy Cross, the perennial ‘maybe well get a 14 seed this year’ bball team and no one outside the northeast would be able to pronounce it, assuming by some miracle they’ve ever heard of it. Think of it as a basketball analogy: Cleceland to other major cities is the Cavs, but Worcester is a D3 team in Wyoming.

Holy Cross might be hard for you to pronounce, I get that. Worcester’s economy is fine. We’re a small city in the Boston Metropolitan area, so why would we have a professional sports team? Cleveland is a large city and is America’s laughing stock. Thanks for the trolling though!!!

Obviously miss the point. Worcester clings to Boston as it’s right outside when in reality it’s 50 miles. It’s is own city with it’s own statistical metro area. Hence the whole point is Worcester is so sad and shitty they need to pretend they are from Boston when in reality people from Boston never would consider Worcester to be part of their community. Same idea as people from Stamford CT saying they’re from NYC. It’s a joke.

Also the difference in unemployment rate between the 2 communities is 0.4%. Pretty negligible. Thus the greater overall point, which is not to highlight how good Cleveland is, but rather to simply denote thaf Worcester is in no way better than Cleveland. And the fact that Cleve has it’s own teams is better than a Worcester native clinging to teams from another statistical metropolitan area.

Get it now? I realize following along using inferences and intuition may be difficult. I’ll admit the Holy cross rebuttal was moderately witty though. At least you didn’t totally lose.

Please, let’s not pretend Cleveland is nice. Worcester is not nice either, but Cleveland sucks and everyone knows it, including you.

You contradict yourself by even commenting on this. You lose. Turtle Boy wins. Even if he was wrong it wouldnt matter- he ellicted a response and clearly got under your skin. You seem like youre not from Cleveland though, so I dont really know why you would care to comment, unless you just love trolling. In which case you think you would have realized what Turtle Boy’s whole intentionw as. This is all leading me to one simple conclusion that summarizes it all: You’re stupid.
