Today’s Turtleboy star of the day is a small business owner from Iowa, known as “Uncle Mike“:

A photo of an Iowa business owner turning the tables on some panhandlers is causing quite a buzz on social media. The man, referred to as “Uncle Mike,” apparently saw the two men on the side of the road claiming to be broke and hungry. According to his nephew, Michael Wooldridge, Mike then offered them jobs, but they turned him down. So Mike decided to stand next to them with his own sign, which read: “Offered These Guys a Job. They Said No. Don’t Give Money.” Woolridge wrote on Facebook that, “My Uncle Mike offered these guys a job said he was busy right now could use the help they said no so he did this !! Wow don’t give these guys any money Share Share Share !!”

Hey Tracy Novick – how do you like them apples? Can’t wait for the PC crowd to chime in and remind Turtleboy that he’s shaming poor people when he should be shaming big oil or rich people getting tax breaks. Screw that, if you’re an able-bodied single male like these dooshnozzles, there is NEVER an excuse not to have a job or be actively looking for one. Public shaming are 100% deserved for these jerk whistles.

But hey, why would they work? Remember back in April we interviewed these two panhandlers:

On the day Turtlerboy met them they only made $65, but on good days they made over $200. And both of them collect social security, which pays for their apartment and everything else they need to stay alive. He made it pretty clear to me that something is wrong with our system, when he pointed out how dumb it would be to work. And he’s right. We’re living in a country where being a sign guy is way more fiscally responsible than being some chump with a job. And we have rich non-tax paying white women from the west side who will literally sue the city if they try to stop you from standing in traffic and collecting money.

The bottom line is we need more public shaming of the sign guys. If it’s free speech to stand there, knock on my window, and scare the shit out of Turtleboy Jr, then it’s free speech for me to follow you around with a sign pointing out what a useless slug rake you are. Luckily Worcester already has one of these vigilantes

We just need more like him.

So ok I stand in middle of the fucking street with this sour face with a my fucking zipper down and half an ass hanging out (just to illustrate that I am this much pretending to be all kinds of fucked up) and the sign says, “HEY FIRST OF ALL FUCK YOU. (because all caps says you are very mad) SECOND OF ALL GIVE ME SOME FUCKING MONEY BECAUSE I SUCK AT EVERYTHING. OH AND BY THE WAY – I SHAVED MY BUTT CRACK SO IT WOULD BE NICER.”

    Pole:
Would this be a good approach for me?

Don’t blame Tracy Novick and the ACLU for the deplorable condition of Worcester’s mean streets. They do what idiots do. If we had the proper leadership, the cops would have a million and one ways to roust the panhandlers and other assorted trash- court ruling or no court ruling. The court ruling and the prospect of future cases are just excuses for doing nothing.

Has any one else noticed that there seems to be very few retail locations that have the red kettles taking donations for the Salvation Army?

Honestly, one way or the other I’ve been working since I was 11 years old (starting with a paper route and snow shoveling). At this point, 50+ years later, I actually feel like throwing in the towel, quitting all work, since, when I add up all my wages that go to state, local, federal, property, auto excise, “community preservation” (WTF?), and other taxes, it makes no sense to work.

If it’s true that the panhandler makes $200 a day (tax free, obviously) then he actually nets way more than me. I feel like a chump, a fool, an idiot…because I actually work.

Dark days in what’s left of America.

Well, chump, now you know what osama meant by ” fundamental transformation ” of this once great nation. Thank you commies/democrats.

I usually keep printouts of local food pantries and shelters in my vehicle.
THAT’S what I hand to them.

For those that would like to do the same, just google the following:
“Worcester County food pantries in the area”

Once the e.b.t cards were unable to buy, smokes, liquor, scratch tickets. This is what you get,but free speech is there for both of them. Good for the Iowa guy to try and offer help though.

If you REALLY want to help these people, make a donation to the St. Johns Food For The Poor program, or hand these folks food, gloves or a hat. Just don’t give them money. YOUR money may buy thier fatal fix.

I used to live downtown, and I got to know a couple of the homeless guys. One guy I knew, who chose to live outside due to PTSD and other issues, actually told me to never give out money. He said “Street people can get food or clothes at a hundred different churches and charities in the city, but churches don’t give out smokes or dope. You need cash for that. Get my drift ?”

The ONLY reason ANYONE is begging on the streets in Worcester is to buy drugs/alcohol. There are unlimited services in this city for all. So all the do gooders who give them money are doing nothing but contributing to these folks addiction and their eventual death.
