If You’re Growing And Selling 10 Pounds Of Weed A Month You Probably Shouldn’t Do An Interview With The High Times Bragging About It

Masslive: Two Central Massachusetts men have been charged in U.S. District Court in connection with a marijuana grow operation that was featured in High Times magazine. Peter Molle, 35, of Holland, was arrested Friday and charged with manufacturing marijuana and possessing marijuana with intent to distribute, according to a release issued by United States Attorney Andrew E. Lelling.
Eric Vallee, 38, of Sutton, was arrested last Friday and charged with manufacturing marijuana and possessing marijuana with intent to distribute. Vallee, according to the release, was featured in a magazine article noting that he regularly harvests 10 pounds of marijuana based on a cultivation timetable that would result in his harvesting hundreds of pounds of marijuana per year. Although the release does not elaborate on the article, both men appear in a Feb. 13 High Times article titled ‘New England’s Patriot Pot Growers.”
Both Valle and Molle used bank accounts that featured large amounts of cash deposits that were consistent with the proceeds of drug sales, according to the release. In February, agents executed search warrants at a house in Auburn where Vallee then resided, at a house in Sutton where Vallee had previously resided, and at a house in Holland where Molle resided, according to the release. At each location, agents discovered commercial-style marijuana grow operations. More than 100 marijuana plants were found at Vallee’s Auburn residence, more than 100 marijuana plants at Molle’s Holland residence, and more than 30 marijuana plants were found at the residence in Sutton.
Look, I do feel bad for this guy and his buddy. It’s a fucking plant that’s been legalized in Massachusetts. It’s insane and ridiculous that we’re still talking about pot and it’s almost 2018. Both of these gents seems like decent dudes, not hurting anyone, and raising families.
But at the end of the day, da fuq is wrong with you? You can possess weed but you can’t sell it. I don’t like the law, but it is what it is. And the fact of the matter is that you knew this, and you knew you had a family to protect, and you did it anyway.
The worst part is that all you had to do was literally nothing. Just keep on doing what you’re doing. No one is gonna bust your balls. Just whatever you do, DO NOT give an interview with the High Times in which you tell them exactly how much volume you’re moving:
Eric regularly harvests 10 pounds of medical cannabis from a space that has just 16 plants under four 1,000-watt HPS lights with a two-and-a-half-week vegetative time.
It’s the only possible way you could get caught.
Then there’s the issue of money. You can’t enter into a business that is profitable and not pay any taxes. That’s my biggest beef with what they did. Everyone’s gotta pay taxes, so why shouldn’t they? Because their business is technically illegal. So just wait for marijuana to become completely legalized first. Pretty simple.
But seriously though, federal fucking agents? This is what Trump administration is concerned about? Whatever happened to that wall? That getting built one of these days or what? I thought we were cracking down on illegal immigrants, not American citizens selling a plant that millions of people enjoy rolling up and smoking. THIS is how the democrats could take back the White House. Not by whining about racism or sexism or transphobia or whatever other identity politics bullshit they’re pretending to care about that week. I would vote for a democrat if they just came out and said that we are fully legalizing marijuana. Because Trump appointed the biggest square ever to be his AG, and this is what his focus is – WEED.
I gotta go free my boi on this one, but still feel like both of them should have to wear a dunce cap for a week just for being donkeys.
