If You’re Shocked By Video Of Mendon Dunkin Donuts Manager Dropping Donuts On Floor And Putting Them Back On Shelf Then You Should Probably Stop Eating Out

Saw a bunch of people sharing this video today that a Dunkin Donuts employee from the little town of Mendon posted on the Facebook machine:

Pretty nasty. My only question is, how did this kid get access to Dunkin Donuts videos? We’ve read a million comments about this but no one has asked probably the most basic question there is.

Anyway, this lady thinks it’s all a big hoax:

Is she right? Is it a different tray? Let’s do the Turtleboy play by play to find out.

First she drops them all over the floor in hilarious fashion:

The only thing we’re missing is a guy following her around with a trombone. Then she picks them up and puts them back on the tray, with the pink paper hidden underneath is:

Screen Shot 2016-06-23 at 10.31.52 PM

She then rests the tray in the bottom of the screen, and as you can see, the donuts are still clearly covering the pink paper:

That’s when the kid begins fast forwarding. He comes to this part:

Screen Shot 2016-06-23 at 10.50.37 PM

Where did the tray go? It was resting on the register before. Now it’s gone. So he fast forwarded it to a minute later and this is what you see:

Screen Shot 2016-06-23 at 10.45.02 PM

She makes a good point. You can clearly see the pink paper now. But at the same time, that tray was likely getting in the way, so it would make sense if it was moved. And it’s clearly propped up on something, creating an inclined plane. Science tells us that the donuts would then start to move downwards on account of gravity, which in turn would explain why the pink paper was showing.

Then the manager in question begins to rearrange the donuts (with her bare hands):

Screen Shot 2016-06-23 at 10.45.32 PM

Before putting them up on the shelf for sale:

Screen Shot 2016-06-23 at 10.33.35 PM

So did she do it? Did she really put a tray of donuts up on the shelf that she just dropped on the nasty floor? Gun to my head Turtleboy say yes. We usually don’t like to join Internet lynch mobs, but we did conduct a pretty thorough investigation of this one and it seems to come back legit. I mean, we don’t know what happened in those 15 minutes in which the kid fast forwarded, and he should’ve showed us. But what are the odds an entire tray of glazed donuts would just happen to be resting in almost the exact same spot by the register 15 minutes later? If you believe that’s a different tray of donuts then Turtleboy has a horse for sale that should be a contender in the Kentucky Derby next year and we’d like to sell this stallion to you.

It’s nasty. Absolutely nasty. And to make it worse here’s what else the kid posted:

Once again, we don’t know for sure if that dead fly was or wasn’t intentionally placed there. We don’t know if these patties are in the Mendon Dunkin Donuts. And we don’t even know if they’re even at any Dunkin Donuts. A video would’ve accomplished a lot more.

But what we do know, is that anyone who buys buys donuts at Dunkin Donuts is basically asking for it anyway. It’s like going into a Guatemalan whorehouse and then complaining that you got the clap. Who buys any food at Dunkin Donuts? You go there for coffee. That’s it. Everyone knows that. The donuts are small, overpriced, and taste like stale cardboard. If you want real donuts then you go to a donut shop where some grizzled union guys sit around and read the paper all day.

Mystery solved.

P.S. And you people want $15 an hour? LOL. Feel the bern in your stomach.

I just think this whole thing is a fake from a fired little douchenozzle. I just don’t buy it. He has an axe to grind. Not an objective source to be found.

Well….at least she adhered to the 10 second rule.

All joking aside, if it is true that those same donuts were served to customers then that is seriously fucking unhealthy. Having worked in the fast food business previously, I know those fast food floors can get really really nasty at times.

This is clearly a hoax. That kid doctored the video. How stupid do you have to be to not see the donuts entirely disappearing from the idea, fast forwarding alll over. She obviously brought out a new tray from the kitchen to put on the shelf. Duh.

By a dope who managed to get himself fired from a DD. That kids gonna have a hard time finding another job. Ever.

Honey Dew is the way to go. I don’t think a single employee at the Webster location speaks English, but their donuts are better, bigger, and cheaper than DD.

Cottage donuts was the norm when I was growing up. One was located at White City and one was corner of Chandler and Park, which is now DeAngelo’s. Now THOSE were DONUTS!! Fresh made every early a.m. and if you didn’t get your favorites early enough, you were SOL till tomorrow!! And, I do concur, MB has some downright tasty (and reasonably priced) baked goods. Best deal around!

Yes, the Main St. location I totally forgot about. Ironically, it became a DD then years later moved across the street. There was a jeweler there for years, at Front and Main St., formerly was Liggetts with a nice soda fountain bar(sure do miss those)!!

I love the coffee but prefer Dippin donuts in Spencer. They make them fresh every day in the back.. And the sandwiches are the best!

I always enjoyed Tim Horton’s when I traveled. Upstate NY and eastern Canada.

I completely understand people’s love for Dunkin Donuts … 20+ years ago. Back then, if you drove by a DD at 4AM, there would be a couple cars in the lot and employees would be inside making fresh donuts… and actually clean and descale the coffee makers and such (remember the commercial with Fred…”time to make the donuts”).

Dad use to get up early on Sunday mornings and go get a dozen for the kids and coffee for mom and himself. By the time us kids got up, the whole house would smell like fresh donuts and coffee. If you got up early enough, you could go with him and get the first one out of the box … most of the time it was still warm and soooooo good!

Now, its trucked in garbage that was made in a factory kitchen 12-24 hours ago and sat on a dirty diesel delivery truck for who knows how long. Even first thing in the AM the donuts taste a little stale. DD is now a low quality fast food dive which is why this video isn’t really shocking. I still love the taste of their coffee but i prefer to buy the bags and brew it myself.

Oh, and if you think that some of the DD locations are nasty in New England, try stopping at a DD location in the south (FL, GA, NC or SC) they are so much worse.

No surprise, it’s always worse than one thinks. This is nothing, compared to the big picture.

I am glad I don’t go to dunkins (or starbucks). I do get a chuckle at the morons waiting in a line 10 cars deep at the drive thru for over priced beverages and food though. I value my time and I am too much of a miser for such indulgences. I usually just brew my own coffee at home but on occasion I will “splurge” for a large coffee for $1 at McDonalds and $.79 Donut from Market Basket. Those market basket donuts are cheaper, larger and better tasting than the DD donuts.

I don’t even go to Dunkin Donuts for the coffee (and no, I don’t go to Starbucks, either). Whether or not this video is a hoax, it makes me glad I cut the Dunkin cord a long, long time ago.

    June 24, 2016 at 8:02 am

I’ve debated this for a while and I think I’m more grossed out by by her poop-tainted bare hands fondling the donuts. I prefer to eat at diners. I’d rather see the people making my food right in front of me. It’s in the fatass rule book: Do NOT look inside the drive-thru window while waiting. Just look straight ahead, get your food and pull over somewhere quiet where you can enjoy your shame burger without a reminder that it was just handled by methed-out wildebeests.

I don’t buy it. Glazed donuts would pick up every bit of crap on the floor which would be pretty obvious to anyone who looked at them. Sounds like a disgruntled former employee looking for attention (isn’t everyone these days??).

    Just my $.02

Most DD seem to be just as bad, they hire the handicapped, as McDonalds does as well, I don’t eat at fast food places . . . . looks like the employee in the video has been eating too many donuts herself !

    • LOL
      June 24, 2016 at 8:18 am

Well most of the Dunkin Donuts in Worcester hire the Albanian… not the handicap. Try finding one where the staff speak more than just menu (other than West Boylston St.)
