Remember when we warned turtle riders that the state would fuck up legalized marijuana? Only took them 3 weeks to prove us right.

Remember a few months ago when we said that we wanted to vote No on Question 4 because we knew the state of Massachusetts would fuck it up?

Real Potheads Should Vote No On Question 4 To Legalize Weed Because Tax And Regulate Are Terrible, Terrible Words

Well it only took three weeks for them to confirm our fears:

Yea, sorry people. We can’t enact this law you voted for because we’re wicked busy. We all have to get together in the same room at the same time, check a couple boxes, and sign a couple documents. That’s a lot to ask for.

screen-shot-2016-10-05-at-12-44-37-pm

So what’s their excuse?

screen-shot-2016-12-01-at-1-29-37-pmscreen-shot-2016-12-01-at-1-29-48-pm

Wait….what?? Is this real life? They couldn’t certify the marijuana question because they had to count the votes for President first? Ummmm….CNN called Massachusetts for Hillary Clinton the exact second the polls closed on election night. She won. All 11 electoral votes go to her. Games over. You don’t have to count anything. Just sign the papers and move on.

What the hell is he even talking about when he says, “his office has been working with city and town officials to confirm the results?” What does that require? You call up the town clerk in Hudson and Bedford, and you ask them how many people voted for each candidate and ballot question. Then you punch those numbers into a calculator and see who won. Spoiler alert – Hillary and weed are the winners.

Oh good, Deb Goldberg’s incompetent ass is in charge of this new industry. What could possibly go wrong? After all, this is the same woman who tried to shut down Nashoba Winery because they didn’t donate money to her campaign like the major distributors they compete with did.

The initiative has given her the power to appoint a “three-person Cannabis Control Commission.” Gee whiz, I wonder who she’s gonna appoint? I’m sure they won’t be her corrupt friends and donors who she owes a favor to. I’m sure they won’t be people who are trying to tax and regulate marijuana to the point where you have to go right back to the black market.

Look, we called this one a while ago. It was nice that this question passed, just because it sent a message that there’s nothing wrong with weed. But at the end of the day we live in the only state in the country that could be guaranteed to fuck this up. People kept comparing us to Washington and Colorado. Newsflash – those are normal states. We live in a state where the Speaker of the House goes to jail for nine five years for taking bribes. We live in a state that legalized casinos eight years ago, but hasn’t built a single casino since then. There was a 0.0% chance this would ever go the way people thought it would go.

What a great opportunity for a Go-Getter! Maybe the Mexican cartels say screw it, like Saudi, and flood the market to drive prices down, to put mom and pop out.

Maybe they eliminate mom and pop, then talk to the politicians, and we have another commodity, with set pricing.

    Yay

Governors should be held to the same standard as any other job. If you can’t handle it either quit or you’re fucking fired. In any other job if you don’t get your work done you get SHIT CANNED…………..end of story.

I’ve known people who blaze 24/7 who accomplish more in 1 hour than this group of politicians accomplishes in a fiscal year.

I believe Turtleboy was vote Yes on the question but whatever.

Here’s the problem. The Governor is saying they haven’t had time to read the 3000 word bill…………………….wait a fucking minute, isn’t that what your job is? Is it okay if your doctor says ‘yeah about those cancer tests, I just haven’t taken a look at the results yet but maybe next month.’.

The problem Goldman has is how they can regulate people growing in their homes. Her big fear is people will be able to undercut the large distributors (who own her) and avoid paying taxes and fees…………….. well yeah, and people will grow their own. People just want to be able to grow a few plants without the fear of having their house, car, bank accounts seized, getting thrown in jail and having a felony police record.

Anytime you get the Government involved in anything it’s guaranteed to be a cluster fuck.

Exactly what’s happening in Colorado. With no incentives to act appropriately and not near enough enforcement, it’s a fucking free for all. All the nachos-in-the-sky talk about how the taxes would just roll into the treasury was bullshit from the start and anybody with two brain cells left knew how it would turn out. Just more liberal group think and they’re wrong every time about how things will work.

You either let people grow their own and forget about taxing it (would be my preference) or you let companies grow it, tax them, and continue to arrest those who can’t provide documentation that they’re allowed to possess it. There’s no way you’re going to do both and have a functioning system because the black market growers will undercut anybody trying to do legitimate business with it

Sounds like another Whiskey Rebellion is brewing. Herr Doberman and his hounds won’t be enough protection for tax collectors

And he forgot to say that if you’re an illegal alien, it’s still cool, we still won’t be enforcing those laws already in place.

I got a cousin and she got a friend,
Who thought that her aunt knew a man who could help
At his apartment I knocked on the door,
He wouldn’t come out until he got paid.
Now don’t tell anybody what I wanna do
If they find out you know that they’ll never let me through.
It’s no fun being an illegal alien

Just means it will be a long while before we can buy it in a store. But come 12/15 (or 12/18), we can light up legally. At least there it that.

Correct and that is the only part that is really important. The stuff you will find in the stores is crap anyway.

Wat. The store stuff is insane. The options are amazing. I’m in Colorado. Back in the day, smoking Woo blunts, was a sad experience. That’s why I opted for the raspberry vodka and diet soda like a basic Woo bitch back then. I used to think I couldn’t get high or I wasn’t inhaling. Hell no. I just had shit for weed.
