Worcester’s inauguration for Mayor was tonight and Jumpin Joe Petty basically let it be known for the world to see that Turtleboy owns every single ounce of real estate in his mush for brains:

In his third inaugural address, Mayor Joseph Petty took aim at those who were most critical of his leadership in the recent election, saying the city is safe despite the “sustained perception” put forward by “self-serving political rhetoric and the angry grumblings of the talk radio set and the blogosphere.”

Hey Joe, try to make it more obvious that you wake up in a cold sweat at night thinking about the Turtle. You can’t. We own your brain and will for the next two years. Just wait until 2017 when you back your girl Sarai Rivera for Mayor and it goes down like a flaming bag of poo. The Turtleboy Sports Revolution took over the School Committee in 2015 and we finish off the City Council in 2017. Thanks for keeping the seat warm for Mike Gaffney. Much appreciated.

Oh yea, and I can’t wait to see this new luxury hotel you’re building at City Square. I’m sure all your hotshot friends from Boston will really like it when they spend $250 for a room and get accosted by Tracy Novick’s finest derelicts the second they step outside.

P.S. Just watch this Petty campaign victory speech from Masslive. It’s by far the angriest and most frustrated victory speech in the history of politics. Turtle. On. The. Brain.

Even those who voted for Petty freely admit Worcester’s decent as been rapid. A common theme at many a Thanksgiving football game and reunion was “what the heck happened to this City” “What a Shame”. Same for those who missed Thanksgiving but made it back for Christmas. “wow this has spread to the West Side ?” “what the heck happened to Hamilton Street”

Born in Worcester, grew up in the Tatnuck area, went to Doherty. Then went away to school, did the young person in Boston thing for a few years, got married and settled in Worcester. Both my kids were born at Memorial.

Just signed the P&S for our new place in the ‘boroughs. Closing is in Feb. So yeah, we’re running away from the hive of scum and villainy that is Worcester. I’ve spent 30+ years of my life in this town. Time for a change and a better environment for my kids.

It’s sad, but it has come to this. Time to cut losses and GTFO.

Petty’s speech contained the oddly dynamic line, “Worcester is back.” Petty never admitted Worcester was gone at any point in the past, and in fact always reported on how great it was doing. This leads one to two clear conclusions:

    1. Petty is fond of parroting hoary slogans.

    2. Petty is not to be trusted.

I live in Worcester and it’s a real toilet. I school of choice my out of town because the schools are not safe and I get nothing for my tax dollars. What else do I have to say. This hack has done nothing but make a liberal playground for BLM and his political groupies. Keep this mumbling idiot on the west side.

Why didn’t you mention how Mike Gaffney didn’t even stand up at the end out the speech?

Where is the crime down? Unemployment is down too? This city will never be anything but shit as long as the pathetic pan handlers are allowed to continue. No one wants to be in a city/town where they are constantly accosted by people on the street corners asking for money. Most of them are can afford new cars, expensive sneakers , and $10+ packs of cigarettes.

Worcester is in deep shi** if this man can’t even read. How many times did he stumble over what was written in front of him?? Good luck Worcester.
