So Masslive published this very interesting article today, about the February 11 arraignment in Clinton District Court, in which Judge Andrew Mandell considered whether to revoke Jorge Zambrano’s bail. He had just been arrested for assault and battery on his trashcan girlfriend Heather Philip. He also assaulted an off duty Hudson police officer and told the State Trooper who was arresting him that he was gonna kick the shit out of them. This was a month after he was arrested by a police officer in Worcester for trying to drag him into his car and have his pit bull bite him. Here is the audio, in which Judge Mandell ponders whether or not this proven repeated vicious ANIMAL should be let out on bail or have his bail revoked:
IN-SANE. Isn’t that what people call doing the same thing over and over again, hoping for a different result? What the hell was he pondering? He had all the facts in front of him – the guy was a savage. His own words:
“This is troubling. Authority means nothing to him. How many times is it going to take here? He may not like police officers, but he’s got to obey them.”
And despite the fact that these thoughts were going through his head, he STILL set this animal free. Gotta love how he tried to act like a hardo too:
“You never know where I’m going to turn up. If I see you again, fear the next stop is West Boylston.”
Don’t worry Judge Mandell, you’ll never see him again. He knows he’s on double secret probation and he’s too much of a pussbag to do some time in the WB House of Corrections. So he’ll be killing ANYONE who gets in his way from that point forward.
This quote from Judge Mandell shows how clueless he truly is:
“If a police officer wants to talk to you, you better talk to him and behave.”
Yea, because he’s shown that he has a past history of listening to cops. His lawyer even said as part of his defense that, “He does have a mistrust for police.” But yea, a stern talking to from Judge Mandell was gonna set him straight. Definitely.

Last thing I’ll say is this – shouldn’t you be held responsible if you bail someone out and then they commit a crime? Like, if you give up your season tickets for a game so your friends can watch the Patriots, and then they get kicked out for acting like morons, then the season ticket holders get punished. Because you’re basically vouching for the people you’re giving the tickets to. How is Heather Philip not on the hook for paying $500 to get a guy out of a jail who went on to murder a cop?

Very sad that the dishonorable Andrew Mandell put innocent people in jail pre-trail, but released this career criminal back to the streets as a favor to his fellow court officer that was dating the defendants brother. Glad that the corruption of the Worcester County Court system has finally been exposed, unfortunate that it took the needless death to do it.
The real problem is that Worcester is filled with dozens of Zambranos. You think this was the only piece of human garbage who got let off like this? This is standard operating procedure in Worcester County, so it meant nothing special to this judge to let this guy off-one of many! The streets of Worcester are filled with these time bombs. We need a tough S.O.B. like Buddy Cianci to run the city and give new instructions to the cops. Or, you can keep listening to the pabulum those McGovern lickspittles, Petty and Augustus.

In the Massachusetts Halls of Justice the only justice is in the halls. I want to know what this judge received for letting this animal free. The judge actually made a better case than the prosecutor on why bail should be revoked and still went against his better “judgement”. Attorney Scola the Wife Killer during his speech mentions the 33 years of working with the judge and all of a sudden the cop killer to be walks. What side deals were made? Again what did the judge receive in return? I know of people who have had bail and probation revoked for traffic violations or dirty piss tests only.
You should write about the Milford State Rep. The T&G have the below quote – Obscene. Why would the residents of Milford want someone like this in office.

“It’s not always a failure of the administration of justice that something like this happens,” he said. “I know as an attorney for 33 years that district attorneys and probation officers do their best to evaluate every circumstance.”

Ohhh now that it was mentioned…let’s talk Scola! He definitely killed Candace. He had defense wounds on his hands that he said were associated with putting an air conditioner in a window (for the woman he loathed.) Even I can put an air conditioner in my window without mutilating my hands. Candace on more than one occasion told her courthouse friends how Tony was going to kill her and if anything ever happened that they should investigate her husband. Total disgrace that the Scola crime family was in bed with many judges and law enforcement professionals…and I use that term lightly.
Your reporting has been pretty good on this, but I think I’ve found one error. I think Judge Mandell’s real first name is actually “Howie.” That would explain a lot.

Thank you for saying that. I couldn’t believe how grade level/disrespectful he sounded. His overuse of the word judge made him sound Ike an idiot who clearly had nothing more important to say. The judge accepted it, though. The coffee must have been real good. Sickness all the way around. Good to know that scumbag apologized, though; that ought to make everyone who knew Officer Tarantino feel a whole lot better.

This judge basically refuses to listen to anything the DA tells him, he considers it…but then just lets the defense attorney who says “ay judge, and judge, and then judge, then judge, judge, judge, and then he did this judge, cause of this judge. And judge, u know judge. Thank you judge.”
Seriously? Seriously??!!! That judge should have laughed Zambrano’s lawyer out of the courtroom for being such a dumb ass! Some foolish Clinton judge, who thinks ‘hard time’ is done at the house of corrections in W. Boylston, and thinks that the type of stern talking u do to an 18 year old will work on a 31 year old career criminal with a history of assaults on police means there is a problem.
